Pennzoil 10 Minute Oil Change

Beware! This place appears to be a typical «bait and switch» operation. Drove in this morning for an oil change and new wiper blades. Signed up for mid-​grade synthetic oil and cheapest wiper blades. 10 minutes later technician appears to say they’re «out of mid grade oil» but can sell me their «ultra» grade for $ 83.00. When I rejected that he said they didn’t have inexpensive blades but could outfit me with a «special upgrade» at twice the price. I said «no, thanks“‘ and went down the street to Castroil at half the price. Can an oil center really «run out» of a top selling oil?

I came in literally one minute before closing and they were more than happy to assist me. I was already flustered and in a rush, and appreciated that they were not annoyed (you know how it is sometimes!).

The person who changed oil for my car did a very sloppy job. After oil change, I noticed that my car had a burning smell and smoke coming out of the hood in front of the car. I brought the car back to them and they said that whoever changed the oil left a mess and did not clean up the dripped oil from oil change so it was burning when the engine is on.
But recently, I went back and the manager looked into the problem and fixed it. I appreciate the concern and my car seems fine now.

Fast and easy. In and out in 10. Paid a whopping $ 102+ for an oil change (mini coop), but the quick and friendly service, and their attention to detail was worth it.

They were very helpful. I have a 2012 Camry, because its a newer car, my oil changes were covered by Toyota. This was my first time going somewhere else that wasn’t a Toyota dealership, they were very helpful, although I was shocked what i needed for my car (synthetic oil for all 2012 and newer Toyotas), they didn’t push me for anything else and they gave me some time to decide if I wanted to change my oil there or not.
Luckily my friend contacted someone he knew at Toyota and he told us that they were right, and that I needed that kind of oil in my car. The plus side is that the oil should last another 10k miles instead of the normal 5k.
The guy that checked us in, told us about an online coupon that we could use. The oil change was real quick, I think we waited for about 15 – 20 minutes. (Theres a cute coffee shop next door, or they have a coffee machine in the waiting area.)
The only downside, when I paid and ready to leave, they said that I should come back in February to change my oil again or after 3k miles (thats 3 months away.) The reason that Toyotas take synthetic oil now is so that you don’t have to change your oil that much.
But besides that I think the service was up to par.

Just brought my 2014 Chevy Cruze in for an oil change. $ 93! Kind of expensive and will not be coming back. Even my Chevy dealer would only cost me $ 55.

I normally never write reviews unless it’s in the superlatives of best or worst experience… That being said, this morning’s visit was in the superior category! My car’s tire system was going off like crazy… I had gone to two gas stations who pretty much told me to figure it out myself. Brady explained things to me in a way that was easy for even a car novice like me to understand! He was kind, friendly, and very helpful! Thank you for helping me feel safe in my car this morning!

Use the Unilocal $ 5 check in discount when available. Fast 10 – 15 minutes full service from the time they start working on your car while you wait in a spacious lobby with complimentary tea, coffee, or water. So the key is to get your oil change done on weekdays just after lunch time when there are fewer cars being serviced. Otherwise the wait time can be long if there is a long line of customers ahead of you. Always bring something to do or read just in case there is a long cue. Professional and friendly staff. If you return within 500 miles of when the next oil change is due, you can apply a $ 5 discount to the full service bill. I was also given a card awhile back for a free full service oil change after the 4^th service. So ask them if this is still available. Full service includes checking and refilling all fluids, proper tire pressure maintenance, windshield wipers inspections, washing all windows, among other general equipment inspection — however no brake check or tire rotation are included. However, if you ask some techs may have time to do a visual inspection of brake pad wear for you from the outside without taking the wheels off. Nice clean operation over the years. I am very happy with the service here even if there are other places offering discounted oil changes and tire rotation with coupons — like avoid Midas!

My family has been coming here for many years to get their oil change. Love their service, efficient and friendly. Both times that I have came myself, I noticed that they clean my windows and refill my windshield wiper tank which is always nice :)
They claim to have WiFi and wish they would post a password somewhere near the front desk, because everytime I’m in the waiting room area, there is never anyone there I can ask about the password. The bathroom also requires a key and also inconvenient when no one is at the desk.
Overall, great place to get an oil change.

Fast service, they offer coffee and teas in the lobby for you while you wait.

Raymond have a good attitude, very helpful, and fast service! He told me everything I needed to do and if you ever need get ant service done, go look for Raymond! He will get the job done for you!

The 10 minute promise is true — came in on a Sunday afternoon and my oil change was complete in less than 10 minutes! Very friendly and courteous staff. I will be back here for my next oil change!

Have to give it to Pennzoil. Came in about two weeks ago to get a transmission fluid exchange on my Acura. I was quickly greeted by Alex who checked me in and explained to me that they only do transmission fluid exchange not a flush. Super friendly guy. Was then greeted by Raymond. He throughly explained to me the difference between transmission fluid exchange and transmission fluid flush. These guys are highly knowledgable. See you guys next time for my oil change.

We came in on the weekend to do general maintenance on a 2002 Toyota Celica that hadn’t been done in two years, and our Pennzoil guy, Raymond, took care of us the whole way through!
Pennzoil, make sure to give Raymond a pay bump, he differently deserves it for his hard work and dedication.
Raymond went beyond his expectations by visiting us at our favorite coffee shop Home. Raymond walked over to find us to explain our service needs and gave awesome recommendations with no pressure and sound advice.

Came here on Sunday, and it was indeed a quick 10 minute oil change. The guys were great, let me know of a few add ons that my car probably really does need, but weren’t pushy when I declined.
Drove to work this morning and my oil light came on with a horrific beep along with it. I called and the manager sent 2 guys out right away to check it out. I know nothing about cars, but apparently a gasket or screw or whatevertheheck was old in my car and it snapped in two after the oil change. The manager got a new part and replaced it free of charge right away.
Could they have noticed the thing broke right away? Maybe. I really have no idea. But I was impressed with their customer service during and after the fact. Thanks Arturo!

Came here on a rainy Wednesday a couple weeks ago. Was super disappointed and couldn’t write a proper review at the time because i wanted to wait until the stream died out a little before I write a complete review. So here goes…
Drove in and was greeted at the car quickly, which was nice. Asked which type of oil I would like and I usually go with the high mileage because my car is an oldie! :) left the keys and went inside to wait. Saw a lot of people waiting also and kind of expected to take a while, but that wasn’t the reason for this 1 star. In fact, it didn’t take that long, wasn’t 10 minute fast but I had time and wasn’t in a rush. The 1 star is because when I went to pay, they said everything was good and I had to get this replaced…“insert unnecessary work that they always recommend” and then they said they filled everything up and did a full service on the car.. and then they said the words that made me regret coming here.. «oh and we filled your tired up for you because it was a little low…» my next question was «did you guys fill with nitrogen gas?» The guy at the front didn’t know and had to go to the back to ask and when he came back he said no it was regular air… Before all the car enthusiast come at me to tell me that it is «okay» to fill it in the tires with it. It is not okay. I didn’t ask them to fill it up, even though it is in their service package. I came here before and have gotten my oil changed here and the guys always ask before they fill up my tires because they see that my tires are filled with nitrogen air! I don’t know if they were in a rush and just trying to get everything done or they are just on auto pilot as little minions too only know how to do that one thing. And the «manager» who tried to tell me that it is okay or that I’m wrong and that isn’t a big deal ask «well what do you want is to do about it?» Like WTF Apologize and that you guys made a mistake! Because I don’t like adding regular air in my tires! There is a reason the green caps are there. And he goes and tells me «well if you didn’t want us to touch the tires, you should ask us not to touch the tires next time.» Next time! There won’t be a next time. The people here don’t care about your car, they just care about how much they overcharge you and try to get the most out of you! The poor lady waiting there was tricked to change her filters and all this other stuff. Never coming back here again. Next time, I’m going elsewhere.

Oops, it’s been 6 months since my last oil change. No wonder the change oil soon came up on my car! Another great visit though it took twice as long as the guy told me it would take (15 mins was 32 mins) and I can get $ 5 off for checking in on Unilocal!Thanks guys!

I love their work and fast service! I’m always in a hurry and they really get the job done fast and efficient! I’ve been going there for years and my car is running great!

I don’t normally go outside for oil changes, but sometimes circumstances force me to.
I’ve been here about 3x. They’ve almost always been within the 10 minute range for the oil change and there is a waiting area. You don’t pay until your car is done. Waiting area has coffee and tea.
Only thing that concerned me a bit is that the last 2 times I was here, the guys had to ask me what kind of oil my car takes. Thankfully I’m a girl who actually knows but what if I didn’t know?!
