AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL!!! DON’T USE THEM! ZERO STARS
This place ruined my valentines day for me, my roommate and my boyfriend! The positive reviews have to be FAKE. Its the day AFTER valentines day and I still haven’t gotten my flowers that my bf ordered. Not only is it late but they ruined the surprise by calling me yesterday to confirm my address at 1pm??? THEN after I did, I NEVER got my flowers. I called about 6 times at 4:15, 5, 6, 8:30, 9, 10:30PM etc then finally i left a message saying to just deliver them tomorrow because I was going to bed. I was supposed to go to dinner with my roommate but we ended up staying in waiting for my flowers because if we are not home they’d be left on the street! My bf called multiple times as well and even to the corporate office which in return assured him my flowers were on the way. The Flowers were supposed to arrive early today… no sight of them.
I CANT BELIEVE how terrible this experience has been. I never give bad reviews but my whole family, company, and friends are appalled! These overdue flowers really should be free. We are NEVER using them again.

I have a personal rule to not post negative reviews on Unilocal,as I can see what negative reviews can do to a good business. But this place made me break that rule because this place is absolutely terrible.
I’d like to start off with I am convinced these positive reviews are fake. I had a very similar experience to Mary M. who also gave them one star.
My boss had ordered flowers for a funeral to be delivered at 12pm on a Tuesday. She had me call earlier that morning to confirm the delivery. I called at least thirty times that morning and no one picked up. I tried to leave a message, but the machine cut me off and when I called back after that, the mailbox was full. I tried emailing them as well, but their email didn’t work. I finally checked their facebook page and found a cell phone number for a woman who worked there and left her a voicemail. The flowers never came.
She texted my boss that afternoon, not called, TEXTED, that they were «out of easels» and had not received our order until 1pm that day, except that my boss had placed the order the night before and we received a confirmation email.
I called and called and called the next day and no one answered. I finally decided to drive to the store and talk to a manager, only to find the place closed during normal business hours! By chance, I happen to run into the woman who manages the apartments above Petals to Please and she told me «they are never open.» I couldn’t believe it!!! I left them a note for them to call us. Still haven’t heard.
Honestly, I have never experienced such terrible service in my life! I am especially convinced these positive reviews are fake after talking to the manager in the apartments above. Bottom line, DO NOT ORDER FLOWERS FROM HERE! Like I said, this is coming from someone who will not post negative reviews on Unilocal,but this place made me so angry that I felt the need to warn others.

My sister used them for a last minute party and for the party event services. This place made my 5 stars for design and coming through with the service they provided. Jessica the floral designer made sure that my sister and her friends were more than satisfied. She stayed for the entire event and helped my sister pass out the arrangements for the tables as gifts for some of the guest. She made sure each arrangement was in a durable takeaway box so the water and flowers did not shift or spill. Thank you so much Jessica!

Used them for my wedding flowers.
Pros: they were flexible with pricing and the flowers looked good.
Cons: they were very disorganized, both in the planning part and the day of the wedding. They weren’t ready for planning appointments and didn’t send the pictures they promised to send. At one point my fiancé said, «I think there’s a 50 – 50 chance we’re going to have flowers at our wedding.» There were some problems with the delivery of the flowers the day of the wedding, but they straightened it out before it was too late.
If I were to do it over again, I’d save myself some undue stress and go with someone else.

This place sent flowers to my mother who was just diagnosed with cancer. They left them outside of my office at 6pm on a Friday and of course they did not survive the weekend. I have tried several times to call and no one has picked up the phone. I have left messages but no one returns the call. I tried to send an email through their website but it won’t go through. Either they suddenly went out of business or their customer service is absolutely non-​existant. I do not recommend that you use this florist under any circumstance.

This place helps immensely, for me two purposes in particular: a nice Valentine’s Day surprise for a friend, and a good apologetic bouquet. Both times the arrangements came out amazing, and Rolanda was very helpful.
To me, buying gifts in general is difficult because you want to get something nice while being confident that the person receiving it will enjoy them. Buying flowers is one of the more difficult things to do for a woman, but Rolanda helped me figure out the best arrangement at an affordable price. Also, since no one was there for me to pick up the flowers on the day they were to be given because she had an emergency delivery for a wedding I think, she went ahead and beefed up my order while also offering to deliver it herself with no extra charge.
Highly recommended. If I decide to buy flowers again, I’ll definitely pull out their business card.

This is a great local place to get flowers. They do the FTD, I-​800– Flowers thing, but I wanted a personalized bouquet for my best friends engagement party. The service was friendly and efficient, they didn’t push for more expensive flowers and they stuck within my budget and the color scheme I wanted. MY bff loved the flowers and is considering this shop for her wedding flowers. Also the prices are very reasonable and fair. Thanks Petals to Please!

I use this flower shop for personal occasions and I’ve used them for clients as well. This place never fails me. My clients/​friends/​family have always complimented on how beautiful the arrangements are that I’ve sent them. That’s the reason I continue to use them.

Great little shop in the Richmond. Everything was so fresh and vibrant. Very professional and knowledgeable staff and I will use them again and again.

I have ordered bouquet from Petals to Please several times already. The flowers always came on time and arrived in a good and fresh condition. I certainly know where I will order flower in the future. I would highly recommend Petals to Please to anyone wishing to send an affordable fresh flower bouquet.

I received a large bouquet of Petals to Please flowers at my work yesterday from my boyfriend. Although he had ordered them days and days before delivery… they kept his card safe and sound until the delivery date. The flowers all came extremely fresh and beautiful.
And they clearly deliver all over the city — since I work by Pier 39.
I’m super happy with them… and would recommend this shop to others.

Awesome flower shop, the lady who works here, takes a lot of personal pride in what she does. She’s in this business because she likes it. This is more of a custom order flower shop. If you need something that will definitely wow your special person, let her know what you want a few days ahead of time. She’s not the kind of person to tell you what you want to hear, she’ll be honest with you about exactly how to keep the flowers and plants fresh as well as what looks good with what. Trust her, she knows what she’s doing.
