Phoenix did a very great job for our wedding photos. We had a wonderful 2 day photo shooting experience. He understand what we need and always nice to us. In our 2 day SF and surrounding area short trip, he can always surprise us with some beautiful secret places that we never seen before. After we receive the ending retouched products, we are so excited because they are natural processed and not over edited, which is exactly what we want.

My fiancée and I had our engagement photos taken by Phoenix Wang in Northern California this summer. Phoenix is an excellent independent photographer and we are very pleased with the shots.
We had the majority of our photos taken in San Francisco and Carmel area over a course of two days. Unlike some of the studio photographers who like to use flash and artificial lighting excessively, Phoenix is very creative in using the environment and natural light. The results are exceptionally natural and gorgeous photos. In addition, the retouches on selected photos are also nicely finished, but not overly done. The photos in his galleries are fairly representative of the end product we received.
Overall we had a very good experience and would definitely recommend Phoenix Wang.

I had my maternity and newborn photography with Phoenix and it was a great pleasure and experience working with him. Phoenix was very patient and experienced in helping us come up with all kinds of postures in a comfortable and natural way. The photos are versatile and vivid and we are very satisfied with the overall service and the quality of the final retouched copies too! Phoenix is a very soft-​spoken and easy-​going person to communicate with and the entire process of the two shooting sessions went smoothly and were full of joy! It is also great fun getting to know about the photographer and his exotic traveling experience too!

Mr. Wang is excellent. He is good at capture natural and beautiful moments. He didn’t use too much tools, such as flashlight or reflector. He prefer to use the natural light – sunlight is the best. The picture looks gorgeous and natural. More importantly, he is patient and friendly. He didn’t mind the photography ran over time a little. But it took a long time to get the final pictures, because he is super busy. I hope the retouching effect could be better.

Wang, he did excellent job for my wedding photos. Started from 3:00pm and ended at 7:00pm. We almost covered these famous landmarks in San Francisco. And always the photos are excellent.

A couple of months back my girlfriend and I were looking for a photographer for our engagement photo shoot. We ran into his profile on Weibo and were really impressed by the photos he put on his personal page. So we decided to contact him and try him out. We met at a café in San Francisco to go through the details of the photo shoot. Turned out he was very thoughtful, meticulous and professional, so we believed he would be the right guy for the job.
He is very good at what he does. We had our photos taken at 5 places in the bay area for two days. He did a perfect job taking us to the perfect places, showing us the perfect pose, picking the perfect angle… etc. Everything was perfect. He is so good at recording every memorable moment of love, happiness and intimacy that not only the photos he took but also the entire two-​day trip will be one of the most sweet and unforgettable memories in my life.

Phoenix is really a professional photographer. My wife and I were planning to have a pre-​wedding photography in SF bay area. My wife found him on Sina Weibo and contacted him. He is very nice and we had a meeting together in person to discuss about the details of the service and chat a lot. On that day, his wife Wingka was his assistant, and I drove my car together with my wife and them. We chose around 5 spots in SF: a small hill near his home, city hall, golden gate bridge, Palace of Fine Arts and downtown SF. It took us around 6 – 7 hours (3:00pm — 10:00pm) to complete the whole process. He used Nikon D3S and professional lens. The pictures were really nice even before PS. He gave us all the original photos and PSed photos after several weeks. All are in very good quality. To put it this way, as a amateur fan of photography myself, I dream of taking photos like these. His photos are not stereotyped like different people in the same background, he values the natural way instead of posing, and that’s what I like.
