SOIMPRESSED. I live down the street and never noticed this place until last night. Intimate, classy, clean. Authentic Italian feel. And the best part? FRESHEST food consistently throughout the night eating here. And the chef came to talk to us! He was so personable! *PLUSPOINTS* :) — Yukon Gold Potato Soup with Pruchetta — Pear & Gorgonzola thin crust Pizza — Creamy Risotto with Sauté Shrimp & Asparagus DELISH. Hands down. Will be back to try the Orecchiette and Sausage Pasta.

In town on business and decided to stop by after reading the Unilocal reviews. I came with intention of having pizza but wound up having a salmon special which was very good. The restaurant is small about 10 or 12 tables. The décor is simple with jazz music in the background. Service is very courteous and efficient. Fresh bread is served with dinner and a nice touch is a bottle of tap water rather then just the obligatory glass of water. The portion sizes are generous and the prices quite reasonable. All in all, a very nice place for a couple or a four top.

So rare that you find a reasonable lunch place with a high class by-the-glass wine list and quality calzones the length of a 6ft man’s arm. The food is great, not over-priced, and the wine by the glass is not the $ 6 supermarket bottles, but great unusual labels that are each great! I wish my salary was higher so I could treat this place like it was McDonalds! A little slice of europe in SF. Recommend their hayman zinfandel plus calzone. But broaden horizons to try other varietals… nero d’avola and sangiovioese available by glass here… you normally can’t find those in bottles in 90% of places let alone by the glass!

My friend and came there on a Monday’s afternoon at 12:15pm. The restaurant was pretty small and empty at that time. The service was friendly and efficient. We ordered a quattro framagio pizza($ 16.00). The pizza came out pretty fast, like less than 10 minutes. The pizza size was decent and good enough for two people. It was thin, light but kinda bland. The crust was crunchy but kinda overcooked. The ingredients were dry, For a $ 16 pizza, I would expect more from it. Maybe I will try their pasta dish next time.

This place is great. Terrific, enthusiastic service. Delicious, quality ingredients in all the dishes, dressings, etc. The pizzas and pastas are delectable and made with care, and the lunchtime paninis are among the best in lunch-break walking distance. Great for pick-up, and very solid for eating in with a glass of wine as well. Having worked down the street for 2 years, I think its one of the best places nearby to get speedy, real food that doesn’t taste mass produced. Why four stars? Unfortunately, the physical plant doesn’t measure up to the food(its clean, functional, etc… but its cramped, and tables and chairs feel like they aren’t quite right), and prices are ~15% too high(despite the quality). So, a meal that should be $ 16.50 is $ 19.75, for example. Not quite excellent, but very good. Maybe if the inside were nicer I’d be tricked into thinking the prices were fine — who knows.

Don’t get the plain pizza, their other pizzas are much better. Try their spiniach fontina pizza, it was really really good. Thin, crispy crust, lots of flavor from the fontina cheese and not too heavy. Very flavorful sundried tomatoes in all the dishes. If you’re a fan of buffalo cheese, you’ll love this place. Great service as well.

Quattro Stagioni is an absolute gem on Kearny Street. I stumbled in one day and have been back at least a dozen times since. Between the delicious food, terrific prices and unbeatable service, there is no way that I could give anything less than 5 stars! Favorites include: any of the pizzas but particularly the margherita with prosciutto and arugala, the pappardelle with sausage, the insalata mista, the chicken parmiggiana, and the tagliata.

I love that there is an authentic Italian eatery 2 blocks from my office! I am a huge Italian everything fan, having spent 5 months there in college I am always on the lookout for good Italian food! The owner is from Sicily and is SO friendly and the service is great. I’ve had the Margarita with arugala and proscuitto twice and both times have been fantastic. The second time I came in with my Dad(who ownes a Greek restaurant across the street, so he knows the owner). We got an order of spicy bruscetta with roasted red pepper and goat cheese and homemade tiramisu for free! Both were outstanding. I will definitely be coming here often for lunch, both for the awesome food and to practice my Italian! Bön Apetito!

I did takeaway for 3 pies(Quatro Formaggi, Margarita, and Brocolli Rabbe) with coworkers, and was shocked that this place is this good AND close to work. The phone call with the Italian guy was a little funny, because I thought it was joke, but in person this guy really sounds and talks like a Nintendo video game character of the 90s(and 00s). Not too sure if he’s Mario or Luigi, but he’s animated. I love pizza, and this is about as good as it gets in the FIDI, and trading slices with the coworkers for the variety is the cheese on top. This is an expensive lunch at about ~$ 13 for a pizza, but there will be leftovers, so it’s sort of a splurge on the budget.(Thank you San Francisco for raising my concept of an expensive meal!) I’ve only tried the pizzas, and while I’m leery of giving any score after one visit(except in the case of the total crap places, which I refuse to retry), this food is really wornderful and justifies a score after one visit. I don’t think eat in person in the restaurant though, tbecause the music sucks, but hey, isn’t it better to just eat at your desk and get work done?

Excellent pizzas. We had a margherita, quattro framagio, and pepperoni and everybody agreed that they were quite tasty. Perfect thin crust and just the right blend of toppings. The pizzas feed 1 – 2 people and are therefore appropriately priced at $ 11 – 17. Definitely going to add to our lunch rotation.

I had read about this place coming for a little while, stopped by just to check it out and then finally ate there last week and I thought it was really good. I just got a pizza but I ordered it, ran some errands came back and it was all ready for me. It was relatively cheap too(around $ 13) for a good sized pizza that turned into two meals. I’m looking forward to going back and trying some of their other items.

Quattro Stagioni(official registered name) or Pizza 4 Stagioni(business card) or Quattro Pizzeria(outdoor sign), is the new pizzeria that took over the former space of Pasta Paradiso. Next to L&L Hawaiian BBQ, and across the street from Muracci’s. Another great addition to the FiDi lunch rotation. Delicious made to order pastas and thin crust pizzas(in just 7 minutes!!) for $ 12 – 14 each. Probably more than what most office workers spend for lunch, but I guess u can split the pizza(12 inches) with a coworker, so it’s not a bad deal. Pasta portions are modest, but taste is way better compared to the food warmer pastas along Kearny Street. Sandwiches($ 8 – 11) are only available during lunch time. Hours: Mon-Fri 11am-2:30pm, 5pm-9pm(Sat 5pm-9:30pm) Closed Sundays. So far the websites posted are NOT working: (on menu) (on business card)
