History
Established in 1996.
Although I have worked as a psychotherapist since 1979, I began to see clients in my private practice in 1996. I’ve maintained the practice since that time while also working as a psychiatric social worker in the out-patient clinic at Kaiser Permanente in San Francisco. I’ve recently retired from Kaiser after 26 years so that I may dedicate my time and energy to seeing clients outside of the constraints of managed care. I strive to develop treatment plans that my clients and I view as the most effective to help with their unique issues and problems.

Business Owner
I have been a psychotherapist in practice for over 30 years. During my career I’ve worked in out-patient psychiatry clinics, family service organizations and with children and families in day treatment facilities. In my current practice I work with individual adults, older adolescents, couples and families. I have trained in a variety of treatment modalities and work with clients coping with depression, anxiety, relationship issues, life transitions, grief, trauma and other issues which are causing emotional distress. My emphasis is on listening and building strong relationships with my clients to help them feel safe, understood and able to work through patterns in their lives that are no longer effective.
