My fiancé and I waited until a week and a half before our wedding to get serious about hiring a photographer. After seeing a set of pix Rey Rey took of a friend, my sweetie contacted Rey Rey, who was able to rearrange his schedule a bit to accommodate us.
He and his partner Brendan came to our house before the wedding to make sure they understood all the shots we wanted and the timeframe we wanted them there. They provided a contract that was easy to understand and that we all felt good about.
The day of the wedding, they were helpful, polite, and everywhere we wanted them to be (and up for being summoned if we wanted a particular shot!).
Within 2 weeks of the wedding, they provided us with an amazing set of photos.
We couldn’t be happier with Rey Rey and Brendan. Hire them. You won’t be disappointed.

My Husband and I decided to have a double session of photos done by Rey Rey because in 21 years together we’d never had any professional portraits done — individually or together. We both brought along shirt changes for a good mix of shots.
Not knowing what to expect, we arrived at the studio on a wet rainy Saturday. We were warmly greeted at the door and immediately felt at home. The studio was in Rey’s living room area and felt so warm that our apprehensions were gone right away.
Being the «ham» in the family” I loved having all the shots taken and the great poses that Rey Rey and Brendan suggested. They made me feel like a hot model rather than some average guy pushing 50! The photos of me and my husband showed how relaxed we were and how much fun the entire experience turned out to be.
We both strongly recommend Rey Rey’s Photography. The affirming experience was fantastic!

What an amazing experience! I was a little hesitant at first as I had never had professional pics taken, but there is something about Rey and Brendan that instantly made me feel at ease. Being a person who usually hates to have my pictures taken, the session went extremely well and I was incredibly pleased with the results. Can’t recommend enough!

Some buddies of mine went to Rey to have some shots done. I was so impressed with the results that I made an appointment to commemorate my 40^th birthday. I’m so incredibly glad that I did. Rey and Brendan were simply amazing to work with. They made my partner and I very comfortable and gave us lots of guidance about how to stand, where to look, what facial expression to use, etc. The resulting photos were nothing short of spectacular and I couldn’t be more pleased. Based on recommendation of a friend who had some great looking photos recently taken, I made an appointment with Rey Cervantes to have some photos taken of me, as a gift for my husband. I looked at his other subjects’ photos, and liked the quality and diversity of his work, from solo to couples to families, from babies to muscle bears.
Rey and his partner Brendan were very easy to work with, confirmed my first choice time for our photo shoot, and talked me through the process and ideas for what to wear, etc. I shared I needed only digital copies of the photos, so I could create an online book for my hubby.
The two hour photo shoot started on time on a weekend morning, and it actually ended up being fun. I brought four «costume changes», from business casual that could be used for work PR, to more relaxed looks. Rey and Brendan frequently and quickly adjusted the lighting and back drops to convey different «moods». Their reminders to breathe and stay loose made it easier to smile and look normal.
About three days after the shoot, via a free online photo-​file sharing service, Rey confidentially posted hundreds of proofs with his watermark for me to review. After a couple days, I replied with the photos I wanted copies of. Here is where Rey’s keen eye comes into play again, as he selected some for additional online editing, adding in black & white versions, vignettes and more (and removing the watermark).
I found their fee very reasonable compared to another photographer I checked into, but I think I got a opening special.
To sum it up: great photographer, easy process, quick turn-​around, reasonable fee, and my husband LOVED the photos!

Rey Rey is a very gifted photographer. He has great artistic vision and eyes for details. My partner and I were so pleased with the outcome of the photos. I got so many great compliments from people telling me how great the photos turned out. All of sudden I feel like I am a superstar! :D
I am generally very shy and nervous about getting my photos taken, but Rey Rey and his assistant was very professional and made the photoshoot fun and enjoyable. I was no longer nervous once the session began. Not only is he pleasant to work with, Rey Rey is also a great guy.

Rey has just the right mix of personality and photography skill. He’s interactive, yet he blends into the background when needed in order to get a great shot. His pictures for my daughter’s one year birthday party came out great… we ended up using them for Christmas cards and all our friends wanted copies of their pictures as well. Highly recommend using Rey for your next event.

I can’t say enough about how great a job Rey Rey did! I really, really hate getting my picture taken. Most of the time I end up looking like a developmentally disabled Cabbage Patch Kid. It’s usually awkward and I stand there waiting and then right at the wrong moment, I blink and drool. Anyway, I digress.
Where I’m going with this is that we went to Rey Rey, he took our pictures, it wasn’t awkward, and the pictures came out great.
(The bf was also there, but he always looks awesome, so it’s not surprising that his pics came out great)

Rey Rey did an amazing job.
I was nervous as hell, but Rey Rey and his assistant did a great job making me feel relaxed… They joked and talked and their comfortable banter made me feel more comfortable.
The coolest thing was, since I was paying for the photos, he made sure that I was in charge. He never made me feel rushed. I was able to change into what ever clothes I wanted that fit the mood I wanted. A couple times he suggested different combinations of clothes that worked very well. Something I hadn’t thought of and those pictures turned out great too.
I had no idea that lighting came into play so much, and he is a friggin’ genius when it comes to lighting. A couple times he’ would move just an inch or two to get it JUST RIGHT. Now THAT’S perfection.
After the photos were done he sat down immediately at his computer and we narrowed it down very quickly to the set I wanted.
It was my first experience as a «model» for myself and it could not have been any better.

Rey Rey is a natural. Not only is he creative and talented, he’s ultra-​professional. In the past six months, I’ve used four of his photos that he’s taken of me for professional and personal networking. Each of the pictures used have been very artful, tasteful, styled nicely and very appealing. I totally recommend him to anyone looking for a great photographer to capture great pics.
PS, He’s doing my fitness porfolio this summer — which Im very excited about. :D
