Richards Terence Chiropractic

Dr. Richards is a gift to those of us with back and structural issues!
He is incredibly thorough, gentle, informative and a wonderful conversationalist. He truly knows what he’s doing and is in the business for the pure reason of he loves helping people. Appointments are generally one hour (not the usual get ‘em in get ‘em out 20 min) and his rates are beyond reasonable.

I don’t really want to write this review because I’m selfish and it might start getting harder to get appointments, but he is amazing, so I just had to. I was recommended to go see Dr. Richards from my girlfriend and now my family and family friends go to him.

Sometimes you simply strike gold. Terry is HALF what I was paying another chiropractor (and then some) while spending twice to three times as long on me. And most importantly, he fixed several problems that had evaded other chiropractors.
He’s holistically minded and takes the time to educate you, so you can understand and participate in your own recovery. He’s careful to heat up your muscles prior to adjustments with giant, heavenly heating pads. He’s committed to healing, so when needed, he tacks on more time to what is already a long and thorough session. Afterward, he urges you to lie down on a bed that rolls up and down your spine, helping your body ease into it’s more perfect alignment. For some reason, it always feels like an extra treat.
Finally, not only does he immediately make you feel comfortable, but he is also a fascinating conversationalist. When I ask him why he keep his rates so low, he says he lives simply so others can afford him. This is the kind of person I want in my life in any form I can get them… healer, friend, or otherwise…

Dr. Richards was recommended to me years ago and I finally got around to going today. This guy is amazing! He is so nice and attentive and made me feel so comfortable. He also explains in depth everything he’s doing which is helpful. His fees are INCREDIBLY reasonable and he’s very trustworthy, definitely not out to rip you off.

I have a twin sister who is also a Dr. of Chiropractic, but she lives 4 hours away in Redding, CA. I love to go see Dr. Terence when I can’t have my sister work on me. Dr. Terence is very thorough, listens to your needs and is a very friendly person to have a chat with during the appt. I hope you will choose Dr. T, he is in the Richmond District area and is easy to find. You may have to park on Geary, which is only a small block away.

Dr. Richards is wonderful! I called today for an appointment because i’ve been having on and off back pain for some time now. He fit me right into his schedule for an appointment. Dr. R is extremely passionate about his work. He explained every detail of the adjustment and why it was important. He is very friendly, quirky and such a professional. I had almost instantaneous relief. Thank you, Doctor. I will be back

Dr. Richards is an exceptional health care professional.
I’m only in my twenties and I’ve suffered with chronic back pain for most my life. I’ve seen countless doctors, surgeons, physical therapists, physical trainers, and chiropractors. Dr. Richards has done more for me in one session than most have in the years I’ve been getting treatment.
He’s very thorough and very affordable. Since it’s been a longtime ailment, I know a good chiropractor when I see one. I am conscious of any tiny misalignment in the vertebrae and know what to expect from a chiropractor to treat it. Dr. Richards has gone beyond expectations.
He’s devoted and caring. An extra perk is that he’s a great conversationalist and has a fascinating background so it’s fun to see him too.
Don’t get turned off by the hole-​in-​the wall location. The office is messy, dusty and looks sketchy, but it’s not at all a representation of the phenomenal work Dr. Richards performs.

Dr. Richards is a great chiropractor! He’s very knowledgeable and determined to get to the root of the problem, so I felt like I was on the road to recovery from the very first visit. I’m so far out of alignment that when my legs were stretched, the left leg was 1−½″ shorter than the right leg. Dr. Richards accomplished a lot in only one visit! I feel better and am looking forward to my next treatment. I intend to refer all my friends to him. He’s fun to visit with, too.

I have been to many Chiropractors in my life and I am so grateful to have found Dr. Richards in SF. He makes taking care of myself a pleasure with drop in hours and a casual laid back experience. I love it when professionals strike out and do things there own way and Dr. Richards is doing that. He is a fantastic healer and a fun conversatioanlist. He rates are absolutely pheonmenal. Dr Richards is the very best chiropractor in San Francisco I have two bulging disc, spent a small fortune on epidurals, cortisone shots, physiotherapy nothing worked until I met Dr. Terry Richards. He is amazing, so talented at his ability to heal both mentally and physically.
