I have two chihuahuas and they both needed checkups so I reached out to VetPronto. They scheduled a house visit with Robin who was prompt, professional and friendly. Robin sat on the floor and the dogs immediately approached her. Robin was able to easily examine the dogs without my help (the smaller one can be a handful.) Robin identified a possible arrhythmia with my older dog and recommended a cardiologist. She also found crystals in my dog’s urine (after a urinalysis) and recommended a new diet for her. Robin also found that my younger dog had a mild case of medial lactating patella (kneecap). Not sure why my previous vet didn’t mention the arrhythmia or the kneecap issues. Robin provided a prompt and detailed follow-​up email explaining her findings from the exam and her recommendations. I’ve used many vets in the past and I have never found a doctor as responsive and thorough as Robin. I highly recommend VetPronto and Robin.

Robin came to visit me last week to assess my sick cat. By the time she arrived at my home, my Samson was already feeling so much better (after 24 hours of hiding in the closet and trembling when I came near him). This made her job that much more challenging in that she had to work backward from the information and observations I provided to her to attempt to determine what was going on with him.
She was thorough, professional, kind and very loving with Samson. As a pet parent, I think we are all very sensitive to how strangers handle our ‘children’. Robin could not have been more ‘high touch’ with my cat. She did not rush to suggest a lot of invasive labs, diagnostic tests or drugs. In fact, she had more of a minimalist approach which I sincerely appreciated.
In the end I think her suggestions and observations were spot on. I would recommend Robin to anyone who prefers to have the vet come to their home to avoid the added stress of a car ride and being around other animals when your own pet is not feeling well.
As an added bonus, I found a new cat sitter during the visit ! The Vet Tech, Stephanie, who accompanied the vet for the visit, is a cat sitter and I happen to be in need of one.
All in all, this was a great experience and I am so grateful for having had the opportunity of having this team come to my aid during a stressful time.

I have a very strong cat who had a very bad experience at the vet’s with an infected tooth. I dreaded getting him to the vet again, but he needed to have a prescription refilled. I was so happy to find Robin and VetPronto. I made the appointment online choosing a time that I thought would be easier for my cat Chester. The confirmation email told me how to prepare for the visit and what to expect.
Robin came right on time with a technician in tow. Chester guessed something was up and fled to the kitchen, The two women got down on the floor, lured my kitty out from under the table, secured him with a towel, and completed a thorough examination – even procuring blood and urine samples.
Robin sent me an email later that day with a summary of her findings during the visit followed by another with more detailed information for his care after the lab results came back. Not only was she pleasant, professional and thorough, but I felt that she got to know my kitty and really cared about him – feisty as he was. I was delighted with the whole experience.

So glad I found VetPronto & Robin, Wish I knew about them sooner. We have 2 dogs and a cat getting ready for a loooong road trip move. There’s no question about quality, friendliness and professionalism. My house visit was so easy, no stressed animals or owners. Would definitely do it again.
