Run A Mutt does not only specialize in dog walking, but we also offer many other convenient services! The owner and operator, Cherie, offers boarding services for your dog (s) from the comfort of her own home and also provides house visits for your feline friends as well.

Run A Mutt offers dog day care, individual dog walks (as opposed to group walks) and we will even come to your home to free your backyards of doggie-​droppings… we are a full service dog walking company, we do it all!

History

Established in 2002.

Like many other businesses, I have found that most of my clients have come to me to utilize my services through word of mouth. Back in 2002, I realized that the best way to get my name out there was to go to the local dog parks and speak to fellow dog owners. After becoming more well known throughout the dog owners’ community, introducing myself and establishing some cliental, Run A Mutt just took off from there and became what it is today.

I have always held a deep admiration and love for all animals, so in 2002 I made the decision to turn my career into something I love and enjoy doing most… caring for them! Being a dog and cat owner myself, I understand the anxiety pet owners tend to feel when searching for that perfect person to care for their best friend (s). I am here to provide a service where you can feel at ease in making the right choice when leaving your animal (s) in my care.

First Aid certified for dogs and cats.

Graduated the first session from the Marin Humane Societies Canine Behavioral Academy studying under Trish King www​.mar​in​hu​mane​so​ci​ety​.org/​B​e​h​a​v​i​o​r​/​T​r​i​s​h​K​i​n​g​.html

Worked with the Grateful Dog Rescue to provide foster care for canines www​.grate​ful​dogsres​cue​.org

Fostered and provided rehabilitation for seven Britney dogs for the Britney Rescue.
