Business Owner

Born and raised in Africa’s rich cultural environment, I learned to braid at the age of 10, and has continued braiding for a total of many years. After relocating to the US, I worked at one of San Francisco’s first African hair braiding salons, African Safari, located on Divisadero Street, for more than 10-years.

Eventually opening my own Haight Street hair salon, I continued to practice my love of braiding before taking a hiatus to become more active in humanitarian causes I deeply cares about, including Global Women Intact, and to pursue a career in art.

My customers include notable basketball players, Burning Man enthusiasts, and everyday people, just like you, whom I count among my most favorite clients.
