History
Established in 1991.
The San Francisco Day Labor Program was founded to preserve and expand the economic and human rights of all workers, and in the year 2000 became a part of La Raza Centro Legal.
Since its beginnings in 1991, the San Francisco Day Labor program has become one of the most dynamic immigrant worker organizations in the Bay Area. Combining comprehensive services, organizing and leadership development, the program economically and politically empowers the day labor community.
