I originally posted a positive review of this operation. Unfortunately, things have changed. While John seems to be a nice enough fella, the work I paid them for was never completed. I’ve since sent emails and received no response. I requested fairly simple edits that his team was unable to fulfill. In fact, they even added content to certain pages of my website that dont belong there! Even after letting them know about the issue, it was never addressed. I’m not a happy camper.

My fellow co-​worker and I had the pleasure of not only getting to know Justin but got the opportunity to witness his talents. We work at a union hall where our website was completely outdated and changes needed to be made. Here comes Justin with all his skills so willing to help us out and doing it as a volunteer because he saw a need and truly helped us out of a tremendous bind. His work ethic is impeccable, takes the initiative and knows exactly what to do and the outcome was fabulous. We highly recommend Justin and his team for whatever you need done.

I came to leave my FIRST review on Unilocal and I am surprised there are so few for John’s business.
John and his team are incredible. They will take your vision of a site to another DIMENSION! (in a good way even though that kind of sounds scary).
I sent them a draft of what I wanted and they came back with something that I felt was too good to be true. They help with designing your site not just doing what you tell them! Other places charge extra for that and they added own additional expenses. I kept expecting to hear from John about necessary increases to the budget but that never came. He stuck to the budget and even did more work at no additional cost. I commented on almost every detail and he never once complained — just responded with «done» «done» «done» next to each number on my list. I offered to pay more but those emails went ignored. He had a job to do and he did it like a pro.
I had previously highered a friend to work on the site and after spending lots of time and money had to come to terms that I needed someone else. I went looking into craigslist because thats what I could afford after the mess I was left with. I was hesistant at first. John’s site wasn’t too impressive but I read a review that said John had «saved the day.» I needed that and it resonated with me. I needed help badly. I took chance and my ONLY regret is not having found John sooner.
It might take a little back and forth with emails as anything worthwhile does but its SO SO worth it. So I suggest you start your project early with John. His team is all you need. I am excited about the product and can’t stop talking highly about the quality of their work. This guys is the man.

This is an update my previous review, which was not a good one or pleasant for me to write. Since my review we have had some intense dealings to get to the bottom of our differences. I have to say, that in the end these guys took personal responsibility and we came to a friendly conclusion. I have to admit that after this back and forth, I could see that not all our problems can be put on them. I guess when it comes to communication its a two way street. From this experience I guess I have learned that especially when it comes to web design expectations can be a dangerous thing. As a newbie to the process of building a site, and only as a user of the web, there were certain things I assumed would be part of the process, and I have learned from others that is not necessarily the case.
I think the thing that is most important to me, that at the end of the day we reached accord, and John and Joe in fact backed up their product. They demonstrated to me that they had integrity, and for me that counts a lot. Were there problems in my site coming together that I think could have been avoided? Yes. Were they all SF Web Studio’s fault? No. I think we both learned from the experience, and I certainly know a good bit more about what is needed to manage a project like this.
My advice to others going down this path is to have a very complete list of everything that is to be included and hash out details before the work begins. Just because you see things out there on the web, do not assume they will be part of what gets done for you UNLESS IT IS SPECIFIED AHEAD OF TIME. I think in retrospect that might have been my big mistake. The old saying assumptions make an ass out of you and me, came home to roost.
Because of their efforts to make things right, and because they turned out to be true to their word, I have upgraded my review to 4 stars.

I needed to turn around my website fast, and John and his team delivered with impeccable quality — well above and beyond my expectations. His attention to detail is awesome. He cared as much as I did about getting the design exactly how I wanted it. He even made several tweaks after the site went live. I highly recommend him, and will certainly use him in the future.

John was an awesome person to work with when building my site. He paid attention to every detail and kept me updated through out the whole process.
I feel with the new website my customers will be able to see exactly what I offer and my services provided. John has a great team of designers and didn’t hesitate to answer any questions I had.
