I’d describe my son, a rising senior, as smart, self-​motivated and goal-​oriented, and myself as well-​educated and aware of the college selection and application process. But even with these qualities, the decisions re: standardized testing; understanding the different ways GPA is calculated by private colleges, UCs, and CSUs; making sure the application is complete; and most importantly, selecting schools that would be a good fit among thousands of colleges: in a word, it is DAUNTING. I was referred to Bridget Allen’s company by a very satisfied parent. And I’m joining the chorus. She and her staff weave magic: they know how to quickly develop rapport with the student, listen closely to the parent, and help all parties navigate the process. As long as the parents understand that their role is to support, not usurp, the student’s leanings, you’ll come away amazed by all that they can do in just a handful of sessions. And if you need financial aid, they are able to give you guidance. If you have any jitters at all, call them. You won’t be disappointed.

Bridget Allen and her team of tutors are the best in the business. Very professional and very good at what they do. I’ve gone to Bridget for a couple years now for help with essays, a weak point of mine, and she is awesome! I don’t know what I would do without her.
