SEIU= Steal Employee’s Income Unlawfully
The union does nothing to protect it’s members. Library pages continue to pay union dues and have no benefits. Union members are not protected against violations of the Civil Service Commission Agreement. And in fact the Union agreed with the library and the contract work against PT employees, but the library continues to do dishonest practices.
The union representatives work at the library and continue violating member violating member’s rights because of bias. Several members had gone to complain to the union about the hiring bias, but because of how the union and city skew the contract, they can hire anyone they want.
They take $ 50 out of each paycheck and fight to help the library in matters that would affect their income but when it comes to discrimination or some other matter, it’s screw you. They help who they like and screw the rest.
