Heck Yeah it’s 5 stars! It’s as good as it gets! German is AMAZING! He is professional, on time, and clearly loves what he does. I’ve got a border collie mix PUPPY, and she comes home actually tired!
German has a wonderful heart and cares about your dog as much as you do.

German is the best! He took excellent care of my fur baby who was excited every single time he heard German at the door. German is extremely professional and thorough and it is obvious that he cares about the welfare of all the dogs under his care. Unfortunately, we are moving to Boston so we can’t use German anymore — we will miss him! Also, he has very reasonable pricing esp. if you are planning to use him 5 days a week.

German, is communicative, caring, dedicated, communicative and above all, extremely professional. From our very first interaction — a thoughtful, deep, but friendly interview — to every situation in which I needed extra effort from German, he’s been attentive and great to work with.
Our dog absolutely loves him, he’s been more tired (tired dog is a happy dog), fit and eating better since he started walking with German, and I feel completely confident leaving our canine son in his hands.
If you’re looking for a responsible, dedicated person to walk or board your dog, look no further.

German is my savior. He’s an angel on Earth. I travelled back and forth to my home country many times over the course of last year because of a family emergency, and all the time I knew that my two pets, a dog and a cat, would be in great hands because German and his family would be taking great care of them. If my cat is sad because we’re away, German informs me beforehand and he BRINGS TOYS to the house to play with him. My dog has gone on many weekend trips with German and his family and he always comes home with a big smile –and dirt paws, lol. Our pets love him. Our family loves him. Even our neighbors love him, greet him in the morning when he comes over to take our dog for a walk. People always say that it takes a village to raise children, but I’ll extend that to pets as well: it takes all the help we can find, especially these days, when everyone is so busy. If you are on the lookout for a dog walker, look no more: you have found your village. :-)

My dog actually starts barking with excitement every morning about one hour before it’s time for his walk.
The moment he hears the car arriving he bolts to the door and waits anxiously for it to open so he can go on his daily adventure.
German has been amazing in taking care of our little ones while we were away as well. Both boarding Ossobuco in his place and stopping daily at my place for cat visits and playtime.

I found German when I moved to SF last fall and he has been walking my dog River ever since. He has been fantastic, coming on time every day and taking River out for at least 2 hours at a very reasonable price. River always comes home happy and tired which isn’t easy to do. German also sends great pictures of River out playing with the other dogs in the group. I highly recommend him to anyone who needs a walker!

German is fantastic!!! He truly cares about your puppies, he doesn’t just take them to the dog parks for convenience, he makes sure that your dogs are experiencing the nature. We live in SF, German would take our dog to Half Moon Bay for a hike, beaches and public parks. We are very satisfied with German’s service. Every time, when we have to travel, we are at ease knowing that Toby will be with German. Last time when we boarded Toby with German, Toby came back as a more well mannered dog. He listens better and follows comments more! In addition, German sends texts and photos to update us what they have been up to and what they will be doing later. It is very important to us that Toby is not just sitting at home with someone watching over him along his/​her TV shows, he is actually out and exploring the world. German definite makes sure that Toby gets all the fresh air he can!

Terrific! Left our lab for 10 days and he came back happy and well cared for. We were also kept informed via tweets with pics. Our highest recommendations. We feel so fortunate to have found them.

As a recent graduate working part-​time/​not your typical hours/​not so rich, it was difficult to find a dog walker who could accommodate my schedule. Plus I only wanted to find the best for Accio so I searched everywhere before I stumbled upon SF Happy Dog Walks.
German was able to meet me the next day for a consultation (as my dog is slightly dog reactive) and I quickly signed on from 2−3x a week to everyday. Luckily I did, as my work period increased by 4 weeks! What a stress reliever! Plus, being a monthly walker is a bit like a membership card — free food delivery/​pickup and taxi service to vets/​groomers, and discount on overnight stays.
What confirmed what a great dog walker German is was when I walked Accio out to greet him. Accio jumped and cried the same way he does for me, except for German he was willing to patiently sit and wait for a treat. For me… he just nips my ankles.
Plus, German will text, update via twitter, use a Nike app (to show how far and where he’s walked your dog) — he’s really a good dog walker. Since Accio’s been walked by him, he’s gotten a lot better, and German has been willing to incorporate the training methods my dog trainer uses for Accio. Awesome relief in knowing that he’s still continuing his learning.
Also, Accios gotten sick twice, and I completely trust German to help administer medication and make sure he eats his food.
Can’t go wrong with price or quality when it comes to SF Happy Dog Walks :)
