SF Kids Consignment

This was my first kids consignment event as a consignor and a buyer. Kids outgrow their stuff in a matter of months. I loved the idea of passing on my gently used items to another mom who find value in them. It’s not only economical but eco-​friendly too!
Susan and Linda (the owners) were so helpful and provided amazing customer service. They helped me tag the items I was selling and took items in advance so I didn’t have to make the long drive to San Francisco the day of the event. The online system to track items sold and timely email communication to keep consignors updated on deadlines and other important updates was very informative.
I had a blast as a shopper. As a consignor, you get to preview the sale before it opened to the public so that’s an extra bonus. There was a large variety of items, well organized and very easy to shop. I found some great items, even an Italian designer dress for my daughter for $ 15!
I am definitely going to participate at their next event!

What an awesome event!
I consigned toys and clothes that my kid had outgrown. I loved giving another life to our well-​loved items, rather than adding to the waste consumption that is the toy industry. This consignment event felt like a neighborhood-​sharing of our kids’ material resources while supporting a local small business run by moms.
Then I shopped, and what great deals did I find! All the items were well-​displayed, of good quality, and in good condition. I especially liked the finds of new and like-​new items at bargain prices. The pièce de résistance was scoring a train table with a full set of tracks & train — at over half the price of Ebay!
This was a SUPER experience overall. As a consignor, I was able to track online the items sold each day. The organizers made tagging and dropping off items as easy as possible. Unsold items were donated to a local non-​profit that would make good use of the items — another feel good moment! As a shopper, everything was well-​organized, there were many great choices, and there were many people available to help make your shopping easier. So much fun! I can’t wait for their next event!!!
