Sidney took the photos for our vow renewal ceremony and I can’t even express how glad I am to have found her. Not only did she take the most stunningly beautiful photos, but she went above and beyond in terms of providing her service on the day of the event — she came to our house to take photos while we got ready, she dealt calmly and patiently with our wild toddler, she had tons of great suggestions for beautiful backdrops, and was so calm and collected in the middle of the chaos of these types of events. Amazing!

Oh my goodness! Sidney Morgan is absolutely amazing. Not only is she an amazing photographer, but she is also such a sweet and kind person. Having her as our wedding photographer was such a joy!

Working with Sidney was one of the best decisions we made when planning our wedding.
Before we met her we were already inspired by her work– natural yet cinematic with an artist’s attention to composition. When we met her for coffee, we fell in love with her sweet personality and obvious experience with wedding photography.
We had her do engagement photos for us a few weeks before the wedding, and it helped us get really comfortable in front of her lens. She’s confident but totally inobtrusive, and made being photographed feel like the most natural thing in the world. (And I am self-​conscious around cameras.)
On the big day, Sidney arrived early and scoped out locations. I was stressed – it was raining, we were running behind schedule – but Sidney brought a very calm, peaceful vibe to the crazy hours before the ceremony.
It was absolutely pouring rain, but she was unfazed and found a long dock on a lake for our first look photos. (We grew up in the area and never would have thought of this spot – she really has an eye!) We were obviously hoping for a sunny wedding day, but Sidney’s rainy photos are so beautiful and romantic that it didn’t even matter in the end.
She encouraged us to get out of our comfort zone and into the elements and the resulting images are so, so striking. I really don’t think another photographer would have been able to get the same results. She literally makes magic.
At the ceremony and reception, Sidney captured the little and big moments that made our day so special to us. She also had a hand in making moments happen that we may not have had without her — she had my husband carry me onto the green during a break in the rain, and coordinated our sparkler grand exit.
It’s hard to explain, but working with Sidney did not feel like «hiring a vendor.» She was truly a friend to us before and after our wedding day, and her photos are treasures that we will love for the rest of our lives.

My wife Leigha and I had to take a moment to share our sincerest accolades of Sidney. As everyone knows, weddings can be very stressful and at the top of that stress list is worrying whether your special moments will be captured on film. Rest assured if Sidney is your photographer your worries are over. Sidney is truly a gifted photographer. She captured all the moments we had hoped and then some… memorializing the entire day in what was a truly beautiful layout — virtually telling the story from beginning to end. Thank you so much Sidney for your professionalism and graciousness. We couldn’t be more thrilled having been able to have you there are our special day…

Sidney took lovely photos of our family, including some very treasured ones of my Grandmother who has since passed. She captured her wry sense of humor and love.

Wedding planning is absolutely awful… the worst. Some people love it and dream about it their whole lives; I simply hated it. So when it came to find a photographer, (you know… THE ONE PERSON who is going to make the physical memories of your most special day for life) I was so scared.
I looked for a photographer for about 9 months. I’m not even kidding. I would find one I thought I liked, but there was always just something not right. I finally talked to a photographer friend from Hawaii who mentioned a Sidney Morgan who worked out of NYC. Since we were getting married in Baltimore, it seemed like a reasonable distance for someone to travel if we liked her. When I looked at her website, I almost cried. I’m not even that emotional of a person, but after such a long, fruitless search, I was just so relieved that Sidney Morgan was exactly who I had been looking for.
We set up a meeting right away (via Skype) and she was just so down to earth and cool that I felt like I was chatting to an old friend. She was very straightforward about how everything worked, what the pricing would be, and how we would proceed. I booked her on the spot.
Sidney was in the process of moving to LA when our wedding came around, however, she flew all the way across the country to Baltimore several days before our wedding to scope out the area and find some good spots to shoot on the big day. I mean, how many photographers are that into their work that they would do that?! It showed how much she truly cared about us and our future memories.
On the big day, she showed up promptly on time, helped everyone feel at ease about being photographed and just did her thing. She seamlessly took us from the dressing room, to the first look, to the ceremony, etc. I didn’t even have to check the time or stress, which made my wedding day even more amazing. She more than got along with everyone… she made friends! Everyone just loved her and her amazing personality.
I received my pictures a few weeks after the wedding on a really neat-​looking USB drive along with some enclosed photographs. It was like I was reliving the day all over again. Sidney captured all the emotion, family, and love of our wedding day and she did it in a style that is timeless.
Even if you are all the way across the country, Sidney travels. Just book her. You won’t regret it!

Sidney is amazing. We flew from Reno to LA just to have Sidney photograph our family. She was very easy to get along with and made us feel comfortable in front of the camera. We had a great time throughout the session! When our images were delivered, I literally cried because they were beyond beautiful.

I had been following Sidney on Instagram for about a year before we met and she had taken our photo. As an aspiring photographer, I had always looked up to her work. She posted a photo saying she would be stopping through San Francisco. I quickly emailed her and booked a shoot. We had met in Oakland and she drove us into the city.
