I was the only other customer when I visited this location on a Monday afternoon. Walked around for almost 15 mins and no one came up and helped. The sales lady helping other customer hardly even acknowledge my presence. Another sales person finally showed up but also didn’t acknowledge until I finally came up and told them both I need some help with tiles and a few other stuffs for my bathroom remodeling project. The guy reluctantly stood up and I showed him a particular tile I was interested in. When I got the quote and decided to make the purchase, I was told they don’t stock in that location and will not send over from Oakland warehouse. He further informed me they don’t stock anything in that location. I have to go to Oakland to pick them up. So what’s the point!!! This is a bad policy. There are other kitchen and bathroom supply stores in the area. Stores like Bedrosian, Otto Tile and Gooder in Noriega will be more than happy to help and sell you. Plenty of other showrooms in SF. Don’t waste your time here. Take your business elsewhere.

We loved consulting with Dickson Tam at Sincere. He was extremely helpful and also helped us understand the different products that they carry. They help design your kitchen/​bathroom and their prices are reasonable if not competitive. We were able to place orders for new cabinets, handles, Quartz countertops, and a new sink. Stock cabinets take about 2 weeks to get.
A couple of helpful tips for the serious buyer:
* Find yourself a contractor and obtain all the proper measurements for your space.
* You/​your contractor will need to schedule an appointment during the week (no appointments are made on the weekends) for them to help design the layout of your space.

First time we went in open sign was on and the older man snapped «we’re closed». If so it was by minutes as other customers were leaving. We mentioned we just needed to see if they had a backsplash real fast but if they didn’t want our business we would leave. The nicer younger guy said go ahead and look. We found a backsplash, put a deposit down to take it home to confirm it matched. The girl looked it up said we could have it within a few days, we checked due to time constraint. Came back the next morning in love with how well it matched and the girl said she was wrong it will be two weeks to get it in. And showed no care to see if there was a way to get it faster. Think they only want the entire kitchen remodel people spending the bigger bucks

Stopped by Sincere on a Thursday morning. Walked around the store for almost 10 minutes. Yet, none of the staff came up and offered help. I was the only customer there. I needed a quote for kitchen countertop. A guy made a copy of my floor plan, got down my contact info and said nothing else. Got a quote the next day. Thought it was a quick response. However the quote was completely inaccurate. He obviously got the area of my countertop wrong. I will not go there again.

We bought a bath and a vanity at San Francisco location. Compared to all other home improvement specialty stores (we just finished major house remodel) service quality was excellent. Response was immediate, we had an issue with the incorrect delivery, which was resolved very quickly. We also bought granite for bath counter in Oakland location, very nice prices.

I was amazed at how good their cabinets were. I was trying to match as close as possible cabinets I bought 19 years ago when I remodeled a kitchen in one of the apartments in my building. They had exactly what I wanted, and they were better than what I originally had. The price for the base cabinets and upper cabinets was a surprise. It was half what I was ready to pay. The sales people knew exactly what I wanted, and helped me find just what I wanted.,
I have decided to upgrade another apartment and am going back to Sincere for new upper cabinets. I wish I knew about them when I fixed my kitchen 18 years ago. Before you buy anywhere, check out Sincere; you will be doing yourself a favor.

Not much tile or countertops to choose from.
2 – 3 week turn around to build cabinets.
Only 2 staff available so you might have to wait.

They were extremely patient with me as I put together a bathroom and kitchen remodel. I’ve been very happy with the service I’ve received. :)

Purchased kitchen cabinets from Dickson. He was great. Had amazing design ideas and good software. Everything was done quickly and at a fair price. They even replaced a slightly defective door with no questions. Go check them out!

They offer Kraftmaid, Porcelanosa and some other Lowe/​Home Depot brands. Parking lot with 5 spots if you go to this shop on Geary.

We purchased quartz countertops, appliances, windows, tile, kitchen cabinets, etc. from this location for our to the studs remodel. Dickson and Mark were great in providing patient explanations for their products. We shopped around and found that the prices were competitive in most areas.
The delivery comes in pallets off a big truck. Take the time to inspect as things can go wrong with big orders and the driver will probably be in a hurry.

Sincere has a very nice showroom and the staffs are very knowledgable and friendly. I came in a few times and each time the staffs are very helpful. I would definiately recommend to shop here.

Mark, the store manager, is very helpful. We went to Sincere about 9 to 10 times before we eventually placed our order and he never lost his patience with us, not even once.
I only gave it 4 instead of 5 stars because a third party delivery service messed up our order, nothing major and not Sincere’s fault. Please check your delivered goods carefully.

I bought a vanity set and an undermount sink from this place about 3 years ago. They inadvertantly gave me a larger sink that did not fit my granite top. I did not start my remodel project until this month due to life events. I spoke with Mark Au-​Yeaung, the store manager about the situation. Sincere Hardware gave me a more expensive and larger sink. I just wanted the smaller sink that I PAID for. I submitted the receipt to Mark. I just wanted an even exchange. I was told my Mark that too much time had passed and that he couldn’t help me. Why would I bring back a more expensive sink if I was trying to scam them. Really!!! Their salesperson gave me the wrong product and they refused to exchange it. They still carry both sinks. I was told I could get the correct sink but would be charged for it. They have awful customer service and will not stand by their products or service. Don’t buy from this place.
I also found out that they did not give me the undermount sink clips for the granite countertop that they fabricated for me. I am working with another home supply store that provides wonder services and actually knows what they are doing. This home supply store is helping me fix all of Sincere Hardware’s MISTAKES. I only wished that I found this new place sooner versus being screwed by Mark/​Sincere Hardware.

We recently bought a home and the sellers had remodeled the kitchen with beautiful cabinetry, countertops and appliances from Sincere. When we went to unpack I noticed that a couple of the bottom cabinets were missing the hardware needed to install the shelves. I swung by Sincere and they ordered the pieces for me. They called 2 days later to let me know the hardware had arrived. When I went to pick it up, they did not charge me one penny. I was very surprised, particularly given that I’d never been a customer in their store. I thought it was a generous gesture and it definitely made me inclined to recommend them!

Very decent prices on high-​end on bath and kitchen plumbing. Very helpful and fair staff.

I went to a few location before choosing this place to remodel my kitchen. I like the materials selection they offer and the price is very reasonable. I’ve been to a couple of places in the Bay Area and for the price i think they have the best materials. The person whom help me is Mark. He is very nice and helpful.

There is essentially only one warranted, negative review here — the others are petty (wouldn’t «match the price of Home Depot?» Really? Doesn’t that apply to all merchants who can’t match bix boxes, like Walmart?). Our experiences with Sincere have been very good, including two full bath and kitchen remodels. Personal service, good advice, and convenient location were key for us and Sincere has always delivered.

If u like bad service, then this place is for you.

I like giving business to local merchants when I can. But both my experience with Sincere is they don’t budge on price. After looking around for a new stainless steel fridge with bottom freezer and side by side doors, she saw the Samsung model on display at Sincere, 2 blocks away from where we live. We checked online and Lowe’s was having a 15% sale, that Home Depot would match without a problem. We aren’t talking about 20% off plus another piggy back 15%, etc… just a straight forwarded 15% off sale. I guess Sincere didn’t want our business as they wouldn’t match the price. We bought our fridge at Lowe’s and they delivered 2 days later.
2^nd experience with Sincere was the same. We wanted a contractor grade Robern medicine cabinet and another store in the Peninsula was have a 15% sale on it. Sincere wouldn’t match the price… sorry, I guess I’ll never be doing business with Sincere unless they had something that I can’t find somewhere else. I tried to give a local business my business twice and got the same response for 2 different salesmen.
My only positive comment is that both times I was in the store, the salesmen were friendly.

Unlike other Unilocal reviewers, my experience with Sincere Hardware was very positive. At the beginning of my home remodeling project, I knew absolutely nothing about kitchen cabinets, countertops, tiles, or flooring. During my first visit, one of the sales representatives, Dickson, spent almost an hour with me, explaining the differences between the three lines of Team Efforts kitchen cabinets: Builder Series (basic), Signature Series (mid-​grade), and Designer Series (high grade). He also explained the standard measurements and increments for cabinets. Next, he went over the types of kitchen tile, including ceramic, porcelain, and marble. Lastly, he explained the differences between hardwood floor, laminate floor, and engineered wood.
Armed with this knowledge, I was able to figure what type of cabinets I wanted and could afford. After taking measurements of my kitchen, I came back the next week to design my new kitchen. Using a program called 20 – 20, another sales representative, Kevin, was able to layout the new design in about 20 minutes. I wasn’t satisfied with the first one, and Kevin quickly gave me two more designs. The third design was the best and the one that I finally chose.
Of course, being super picky and meticulous, there were several subtle things about the design that I wanted to change. I came back to the store two or three more times, and Kevin made the tweaks without complaining at all. Throughout the entire process, he was a total pro: patient, efficient, and willing to listen to the customer’s requests.
I ended up purchasing the Beech Coffee Signature Series cabinets and three appliances (refrigerator, stove, and dishwasher). I had the option of having the store deliver everything for a flat rate, or having my contractor pick up everything from their Oakland store. I decided to have Sincere deliver the items to my house. Kevin scheduled the earliest delivery date available.
The day before the items shipped, a customer representative from their Oakland store called me to tell me the time frame when the driver would arrive. Even though the purchase agreement stated that the delivery was only supposed to be «curbside,» the driver was kind enough to help me carry some of the cabinets into the house.
Overall, my experience with Sincere Hardware was excellent from start to finish. I haven’t installed the new kitchen cabinets yet, but once I do, I’ll put a brief update of how they look.
PROS:
Dickson and Kevin were extremely helpful. Dickson answered a lot of my initial questions, and Kevin helped me design my new kitchen.
The kitchen design was absolutely FREE. They didn’t charge me for any changes or revisions, and I was able to get a floor plan and 3D views, which I could give to my general contractor.
The kitchen cabinets were reasonably priced.
CONS:
The Oakland store had a bigger show room and a better selection of items. (But keep in mind that the sales tax is higher in Oakland).
The granite was sold by linear foot instead of per slab. I was able to find the same granite for less at Sheung Sing in Daly City.
The laminate floor that I wanted was $ 3.59 /​sq ft. I was able to find it for $ 2.57 /​sq ft. online.

The Sincere Hardware stores are all pretty darn good. The one in Oakland which is more like a warehouse than a showroom, has some very helpful, friendly staff. Our first trip there about a year or two back is where we found our quarter rounds and pergo flooring for cheaper than most anywhere else and with great service!
The store in San Francisco is more of a showroom. I don’t know if they actually have the material on site but I can’t imagine how it would feel to have to load your car there. There is no where to park in front — it’s crammed, and the parking lot they have for the store is a couple stores away. Otherwise the service here is also amazing — we were asked if we needed help after making our rounds and the man was very informative. No pressure, just answers and information. It was great!
The prices for their vanities, cabinets, and countertops were great, much more affordable than say Home Depot or other cabinet and countertop stores we’ve been to. Their prices for fixtures were not so affordable — we saw cheaper, good quality kitchen and bathroom faucets at Home Depot.
All in all I think we’ve found a winner for our kitchen and bathroom remodeling projects. Keep in mind though that Sincere doesn’t provide any contractor services, they only provide the material.
