Ken is an amazing person, artist, and florist. He was the florist for my wedding and it was amazing. First off, he met with us a couple times to go over details. He even prepared a vase and flower suggestions based on a phone call and had all this ready before our first meeting. He also was always available via email and was quick to get back to us about any questions. He also worked well with our budget.
Onsite, he showed up on time and he brought everything he needed. He also went above and beyond. For instance, he went around and fixed tablecloths, he made sure the table settings were perfect, and more.
The flowers he created were beautiful. We received so many compliments, I couldn’t begin to count. We had a 1920s wedding and he worked well with the theme and our tastes. We chose to stick with short navy vases and light colored flowers. The bridesmaids had blue feathers in their arrangements too. He also brought the little lights for the tables.
I could not recommend him more.
He is also LGBT friendly.

I can’t believe there aren’t more reviews for Kenneth Sloan. Our wedding was in August 2008 and our flowers were gorgeous (everyone still comments on them). Ken was a breeze to work with, very responsible, punctual and works great behind the scenes. And that’s high praise coming from a 15-​year corporate event planner. He was also awesome working with our budget and coming up with great ideas for how to achieve the results we wanted with smarter less expensive options. I brought pictures of the look I was going for… and he got it perfectly.
I’ve referred him to 5 other friends over the years. Everyone has enjoyed their experience with him.

I was at a party and loved the flowers. I found out the designers name– Kenneth Sloan. When I got married we contacted Kenneth to do the flowers for our wedding– we just told him the colors we wanted and left the rest to him. We were thrilled with the results. My friends still bring them up when they talk about that day.

My Wedding Coordinators recommended Kenneth Sloan so I didn’t know what his previous work looked like. I was not apprehensive, but I had to have complete trust in my Wedding Coordinators recommendation. I am so glad that I did. During the planning stage, Kenneth was professional, responsive, able to work within my budget and suggest alternatives that kept the look I wanted but did not affect my budget. When the Wedding day arrived, the flowers (corsages, boutonneires, bouquet, centerpieces, aisle flowers, etc) were stunning and even more breathtaking than I had envisioned. Absolutely gorgeous arrangements, exquisite attention to detail, and elegantly laid out on the tables. I would highly recommend Kenneth Sloan.

Ken created the flower arrangements for my wedding a few weeks ago. I loved his flowers at a friend’s wedding, and came across him thusly. And lucky me. Ken’s flowers were everything they should be: beautiful, elegant, natural, and sophisticated. Ken was very cool about working with my budget and ever-​changing needs (read, I was annoying at times) and he was the best value I found (and I shopped around… one florist hung up on my mom when she called to get a quote based on Ken’s – not kidding). I will post photos soon but suffice it to say that I would and will use Ken again in a heartbeat. He is a talented florist and an extremely nice person. I think in some Scandinavian countries that combination could get you nominated for the Nobel Prize.

We had a small budget wedding, back in 2000. Ken came on recommendation of my fiancé’s old boss (when he was a sous chef at a catering company). Not only did Ken work within our budget, he came up with innovative arrangements that drew lots of compliments.
He really «got» my style: offbeat, with kind of an asian theme. I wore a handmade gown that was a Chinese-​style sheathe with a red dragon curled around it. He chose flowering branches and red roses and I loved everything he put together!
Afterwards, I was supposed to give him back his vases, but for some reason it fell off my radar… then we moved… and it took me two years to return them! He was shocked when I showed up with him, and was gracious about the whole thing, to his credit.
Ken showed up on time and set up all the arrangements, I hardly even knew he was there! I can’t say enough good things about him.
