We just recently bought our house and could not have done it without plenty of help from Stangl Advisors. We were ready to get into our first home and In this crazy market, Harald and his friendly staff — Evan, Jon and Marjorie — made it happen for us. Not to mentions we were first-​time home buyers in need of a lot of guidance and Stangl Advisors gave us all that and more!
We had a lot of questions and Harald clearly and, most of all, patiently explained the next steps to us. He was not just our realtor but also an awesome educator, cheerleader and motivator — we learned a lot from him. We were not working with a specific banker and he recommended us to a broker who was able to close the deal on time. If the holidays are not hectic enough, we closed the day before Thanksgiving; for that we are truly grateful. Harald and his staff worked above and beyond our expectations.

Stangl Advisors have truly changed my life for the better! As first time home buyers, my girlfriend and I entered the market with very little knowledge about the process. I was fortunate enough to have met Marjorie first through walking our dogs at the beach. She taught me so much about the process of home buying and gave me such good advice. She then introduced us to Harald, who immediately made a great impression with us. His knowledge and experience about real estate and his ability to educate us about the process with no pressure or obligation really put us at ease. He immediately went to work for us, setting up a search database online and allowing us to choose houses to view. His staff of Evan and Jon helped us every step of the way and answered all the questions we had. When we did finally put in an offer on a house that was accepted, Harald proceeded to put us in touch with his mortgage broker. Once we were in escrow, the stress and frustration with the process began to take its toll on our patience. Thanks to Harald, his calm demeanor and ability to explain situations to help us understand what was happening with the process really made the difference in making or breaking the deal. Not one time was Harald unavailable by phone or text or email. He was very prompt in returning messages and made sure to follow up with everyone involved. After a long and arduous process, I am so proud to say that we made our first home purchase and we have Harald to thank for this! We just met with him earlier today and he handed us the keys to our home. He even had great suggestions for how we could make improvements. We could not have done this without him. Strangl Advisors is absolutely amazing! We found them here, on Unilocal and we began working with Marjorie and her assistant Rachel in early March. We were trying to save our house from foreclosure and short sale, attempted to modify loan numerous times prior to working with Strangl Advisors and were denied. We paid $$$ to other companies claiming they can help, but all failed. Strangl Advisors had no fees, pledge or any other hidden costs associated. I discussed my case with Marjorie and had Rachel assist me with all the papers. Rachel was professional, polite and responsive to all my emails, calls and texts within minutes. I could not believe how wonderful the service was! Dealing with the Banks is a nightmare, Rachel made sure I never had to call myself and managed to follow up on every document submitted. Our mortgage was modified and we are so so happy!!! We just can’t thank Strangl Advisors enough for everything they have done during this process!

Harald, Marjorie and the staff at Stangl Advisors are amazing. Marjory and Harald assisted me to get back on track with my mortgage, which allowed me to keep my home. To be honest I was ready to throw the towel because I was several months behind with my dues and also because other professionals told me that it was not worth it. OK… here is a review for all those out there who usually don’t use Unilocal as a «go to» for finding a business… if there were six stars available, i would give Stangl Advisors all six… yes, they were (and are) that good… From Harald to Marjorie, Rachel and Jon — all were extremely good in helping me negotiate and navigate through the brutal experience of a loan modification for my home… don’t attempt this on your own Unilocal people… the bank (s) typically DO NOT want to help you and in my case, they strung me out for so long (constantly asking for documentation that had already been sent to them) that i was close to being upside down on my home… Stangl patiently explained why the bank was doing what they were doing and together we decided to do the logical thing and sell my house… Stangl took care of EVERYTHING from A-​Z, beginning to end… really, all i had to do was relax and wait for the equity i was about to lose, instead, be deposited into MY bank account… now understand, timing was right for me and maybe not everyone will be as lucky as i was, but, guaranteed Stangl Advisors will work as hard for you as they did for me to assist in creating the best solution possible… Grateful…period…thanks to all @ Stangl Advisors!!!

Sometimes in your life when you have no place to go or call you just pray for an angel to help you. Marjorie was my angel.
There are no words that I can express how thankful I am for all her help. She made the impossible becomes reality. Excellent service!!! Was referred to Stangl to avoid foreclosure on 2 rental homes. They took over and handled all of the bank correspondence leading to great short sale deals. Wish I had’ve known about them earlier. They really did a professional job, and were very responsive via email. I always knew where I was in the process, and they fought hard with the banks. I’ve never used them to purchase property, but once I get back on my feet, I will seek them first. Honest folks, to be trusted.

I sincerely wanted to thank Marjorie for all her time, passion and efforts on trying to help us go through the loan modification process. We had been dealing with a scam mod service for almost 2 years and would not have known that it was a scam without her words of wisdom. I’m trying to be objective as possible when I say these guys are the best in the biz at what they do, at least in the bay area. We were referred to Harald by one of the top real estate attorneys in San Fran and had a great experience. I shudder to think of how our short sale experience would have gone if we went with just any local real estate agent. We’ve referred a few friends to Harald since working with him and his team.

The work that Stangl Advisors did was outstanding. They did what I requested and what they promised in our first meeting: they structured the sale so that the second (which was in my name whereas the first was in the primary owner’s name) was paid off by the buyer prior to the final sale, thereby avoiding a tax form from the bank and a blemish on my credit report for the ‘deficiency’.
The whole process took just over four months, but the contortions that Stangl Advisors did to take care of us, including obtaining a ‘nationwide incentive’ and choosing a more competent title company to finalize our sale, are commendable.

Marjorie and Harald are very helpful and understanding to all my concerns and all my questions. They were able to calm me down with this stressful process. After dealing with the bank for about two years and getting no where I called Stangl advisors. Talked to Marjorie and she was easy to talk to and explained everything I needed to know and she even offered to meet with me and my wife in Brentwood.
