Stanley’s Laundry

It’s quite spacious. Unlike in Little Bubbles, it’s easy to find a place to sit where you won’t be in any one’s way. As noted by other reviewers, the driers are fast. On the downside, they have very few chairs. Most people seem comfortable leaving their laundry and coming back to pick it up, though, so maybe there’s not much need for seating.

After reading reviews on Unilocal and doing a walk-​by, I decided to try out Stanley’s over the bubble joint across the street. Stanley’s is clean, reasonably priced, had available space on a Sunday afternoon and bright & airy. Did a few loads on wash & dry for about $ 10. Definitely recommend this spot for getting your clothes fresh & clean!

There is probably only one thing I don’t like about my new place in North Beach and it is that we do not have a washer or dryer in our apartment. I’ve never lived in a place that didn’t have a washer or dryer. Thankfully I have found Stanley’s Laundry. When I had first moved into the neighborhood I was going to Little Bubbles because of the cutesy name and because the reviews were decent. At that time, Stanley’s didn’t have any reviews.
Stanley’s is pretty clean. I like that the floor is tile for easy clean up. The space is bright and feels open. The pricing is competitive with other laundromats on Grant Ave. For the small washers you will pay $ 2.50 and wait 25 minutes. There are also medium size washers and large washers, although I have never used them. The small ones are a pretty good size.
One of my favorite things about Stanley’s is that they are open early and close late in comparison with the other laundromats.
The best part about going to Stanley’s is that the dryers are super fast. They are huge and only charge $ 0.25 per 5 minutes. It’s totally worth it because your clothes dry in like 15 minutes.

Clean fast and cheapest in north beach. I like the fact that this laundry has a wide window up front so it doesn’t feel like some dungeon laundry. Bring a book or sit by the window to people watch while your laundry gets done.
The large dryers are awesome and dry your clothes quickly.
One quick tip touch the dryer door for a warm one or one that someone just used to get your clothes dried faster and with less $
