Super slow service. They didn’t fill up the drink to the top so had to wait even longer for them to fix it. I don’t blame the employed but management.

Really is open at 5am Monday through Friday. Sometimes posted Starbucks hours online aren’t true but this location is an early riser location. Great place to start your day with a hot cup of joe in the financial district where other shops may not open till 7 or 8 a.m. In this area also try the Fountain Restaurant Crocker Square where they serve pancakes and eggs, bacon third floor open early weekdays.

Seriously stop putting lids on over full drinks. I came for coffee, not smoothie, frap, chai or whatever else all over my hands. Thanks.

Starbucks is Starbucks, no matter where you go! I feel like your experience is always determined by the staff. Two stars to this place because the woman that helped me at the register was rude and it was as though I was inconveniencing her by placing an order.

The last two days I’ve gone into this location have been absurd. They seem to be consistently under stocked and unprepared for the breakfast rush. This morning, they gave me my wrap after taking it out of the oven and it was still ICECOLD. They’re consistently running around like a chicken with its head cut off. The management at this location is unbelievably subpar.

Unfortunately, this is the closest coffee shop to my office, and so loads of people from the office like to go here. I am not a coffee snob, and will drink just about anything. While I will drink Starbucks, I never enjoy it. My belief is they buy cheap beans and then over roast them to cover up the cheap flavor. Frankly the espresso always tastes burnt to me and is just gross. I would much rather walk up the hill to get a proper Ristretto at «The Station», which has blue bottle deliciousness prepared to perfection, than drink the burnt dreck they claim as coffee here.

My family is visiting San Francisco from Southern California. We all came in here for morning coffee and pastry/breakfast items. Jay, the girl at the register helping us, gave great customer service!

Always go to this location since its right by my school. The mornings are always busy that some of the staff can be unorganized with the order. I told 3 different staff that I ordered the raspberry swirl pound cake amd it took me 5 minutes until I finally got it after I paid for my snack. Anyway, no screw ups on my since I’m 100% satisfied but the place needed to clean up a bit. Again its the Morning rush hour. But I really like this particular location and would come back.

I seriously love this place. Everyone is so friendly, it’s super fast, and it’s a great part of my daily routine. And they always know my drink order, which I appreciate! I was really surprised to see the negative reviews… My experience has been great. Can’t wait for pumpkin spice lattes soon!

Not many seats(maybe 7 total bar stools and 3 actual seats), and no public bathroom, so not ideal for working but… they now have Google Wifi, which is insanely fast compared to the old AT&T Wifi. If you can handle the seating and bathroom situations, the wifi will make up for it with a very pleasant work session.

Fuck this place. Wow, if only I can put minus star. I ordered a chai latte, they made me a latte, and the barista got balls fuckin rolled her eyes on me. Will never come here again, I’d rather walk extra block to the one on grant & bush. They put whipped cream on my java chip 5x(on separate occasions!!) after I specifically ordered with NO whip cream, I think I’ve been nice enough not making a scene in the store. It’s either they’re deaf because of the volume of the music or just plain-brain damaged. Either way, fuck this store! Can’t get order right & shitty customer service for not-so-special coffee/teas, not worth the money & time.

One of the better Starbucks downtown. Fast and friendly, though the space is a bit small so it feels cramped when there is a wait. Ashley the barista really adds positivity and character. She lets everyone know what she’s working on next and says good morning to everyone while she works her coffee magic.

$ 5.40 for a triple tall — OUCH! It was the day after Thanksgiving — aka Black Friday — and not everyone had the day off(meaning me). Our office was open & I was frantically searching & searching for some caffeine But alas, all my usual haunts were closed — when out of the distance, I see this Starbucks is open & teaming w/people(and I say«this» SBux b/c there was another nearby SBux that was not open)…desperate times called for desperate measures And since the holiday season had officially begun, there were Gingerbread Lattes to be had so I placed my order & anxiously awaited my wintry treat WAY too much syrup ruined the whole thing. The barista kept pumping & pumping — it was awful! And couldn’t even taste the 3 shots — I find SBux coffee too weak for my taste anyway & this just reinforced it And the fact my usual coffee shops make it a standard practice to place 3 shots in their same sized drinks only added insult to injury that I had to fork over $ 2 more than what I’m used to paying So I super appreciated you being open the day after a holiday but this was an awful cuppa for a price that was even worse

This was a very nice Starbucks with very helpful pleasant baristas. I got my custom drink with no problems. Our home area Starbucks have not rolled out the new pastry line(La Boulange) yet and we has a question about one of the small items here so the Baritsta sampled one for us. Very nice of him. I wish the store had some real seating though because we really wanted a table and chairs as we were hiking to our hotel from BART from the airport. But this is in the Financial District and is clearly a grab and go location so we made do with a bar counter and some stools that were a little high for me. But overall, a nice place.

no bathroom makes you just a-ok. they send customers over to the donut shop if you got to potty. Lame, but i guess not shocking in SF. the have a CLOVER too bad we didn’t know until we had already finished ordering. will be back just for that.

My friend used to work in the area. we were in the late afternoon and my friend says, I know of this café where we can sit outside and get some food. After traveling a few blocks we get here. Im like«starbucks?» Guess they had just taken it over. So a La Boulange pastry is nice but it’s not lunch. So we try something else in my friends ancient memory carrying away dessert for later.

I’m not reviewing the service and drinks here because it’s on par with all the other Starbucks in the area. This review is for the new La Boulange desserts. This is the only location that is carrying this line since the merger. I purchased the coffee cake and it looks like a mini loaf. No coffee crumbs to begin with. For about $ 2.50 it’s also smaller than what you got previously. Can I say La Boulange’s stuff is overpriced and a rip off? Starbucks you made a mistake purchasing this chain. I’m not impressed with their miniscule desserts in your bakery display.

I’m Asian, so I go to a bunch of Asian restaurants where customer service is basically nonexistent. BUT this place has, by far, THEWORSTCUSTOMERSERVICE I’VEEVEREXPERIENCEDINMYLIFE. Starbucks Coffee taste the same everywhere. Its mediocre coffee, so this place deserves 3 – 3.5 stars just for the drinks itself. However, the staff here is barbaric and since I’m from the 21st century, encountering a cave woman wasn’t a very pleasant experience. First of all, there is a big difference between White Chocolate Mocha and just plain old Mocha. I mean, i think the color is a bit different, so if you get that wrong you must be either color blind, or didn’t really learn what colors were in preschool. Anyways, the barista messed up on my drink, so I kindly asked her to re-do it. Well, this cave woman decided to bark at me and while re-making my drink, monstrously pushed the chocolate syrup machine so hard that it shot chocolate all over my friend. She wasn’t even standing near the god damn machine. Sadly, it got all over her work clothes and she had return to work with poop stains all over her cute little cardigan. :’( I’m sorry Ms. Barista, who’s probably still in college or some hipster who thinks working at a coffee shop is way cooler than someone with an 8 – 5 cubicle job, but please have SOME class and say sorry when appropriate. Okay, maybe you didn’t learn how to say sorry from socializing with cavemen… BUTTT seriously did you have to throw, not hand over, but literally THROW a wet, dirty ass towel in our faces as if that was going to solve our problems. You could have at least offered us a cleaner looking towel, or better yet, not give us anything to begin with. By the way, thank you so much for informing us that your chocolate syrup is bio degradable(which might not even be true). I’m sure that made my friend’s sh***t stains look slightly more attractive. Seriously. WTF.

I heart Starbucks! What can I say? there open at the crack of dawn and draws me to this place! Since I work the early hours of 6am, I look forward to making a stop over and getting my morning coffee. Did I tell you Coffee makes me Happy? LOL My favorite coffee is an Americano. I usually get two pumps of caramel in it or drink it straight when I’m extra sleepy. During the first hour of taking sips of my coffee it gets me wired and jittery. Yes it’s okay with me, so I can function! HAHAAH As for the treats they have inside, I’ll get a chocolate croissant or a low fat blueberry muffin. Whoever invited Starbucks is a genius!
