I purchased a Jack task Steelcase chair on 10÷27÷15 through online. Well, this chair is very small and very, very unfomfortable. The quality is not there and these chairs for sure are overrated and overpriced. The quality and design does not match the price of any of these chairs. I received a scratched chair in a mangled box, which I returned with a bad customer service on top of that. I will go for other company, which is more interested in providing customers with a good products, instead of playing games, like asking customers if they want to add arms, colors and features to these chairs online and of course increasing the price for such choices. Customers want to purchase, just a comfortable chair at a decent price, without the hassle.

I really do like Steelcase furniture. We have just come through a fairly large office expansion and our office is just gorgeous. When we were planning our office, the staff at OneWorkPlace was extremely helpful and always at the ready with great suggestions. Could not have asked for better service! HOWEVER, the level of post-purchase care is about the worst I’ve ever experienced. Started out with day of delivery when 5 items that we ordered had been left off the original order to the manufacturer by the rep at OneWorkPlace. rep. There was also an additional item that was too damaged in transit/warehouse to be delivered. Total Items Missing: 6. Three weeks later, they show up with 4 items — 3 of the items that had originally been left off the order, as well as the item that was damaged. Now we are still missing 2 items. The explanation on these is that they, too, have been damaged in transit/warehouse. As I write this, it has now been a full 3 weeks since the second shipment and I still don’t have my full shipment. So the math is this: Furniture ordered early April, furniture delivered mid-May, now it is end of June and still don’t have complete order. Just shy of 90 days. And we’re not talking custom stuff — these are stock items. But wait… there is more. When we first moved we had issues with some equipment(monitor arms) that didn’t want to seem to want to adjust. No instructions, no helpful on-line guide — nothing. I reached out for assistance by e-mail and 30 days later(I am not kidding you) I receive an e-mail asking what the weight of my monitors are. And it gets better, as I had put the weight of the monitors in my original e-mail 30 days prior. If I had to do it all over again, I would not order from Steelcase/OneWorkPlace. There are too many other office furniture dealers out there to put up with this aggravation.
