History
Established in 1989.
«A People Oriented Dental Practice» was established in 1989 stemming from Dr. Ostwald’s experience treating patients with dental fear. The realization that many people have issues surrounding receiving dental care lead to the development of a practice where these issues were addressed not ignored. This early commitment to understanding the needs of individual patients and structuring care that addresses both their dental needs and any special needs in the Patient –Dentist relationship which might exist, is still at the heart of the practice today.

Business Owner
A Bay Area native, Dr. Ostwald received his undergraduate education within the U.C. system. He graduated with his dental degree from Northwestern University, Chicago in 1981. After a two year graduate residency program (GPR) at Mt. Zion Hospital in San Francisco, he was offered a position where he taught and practiced at the hospital until 1989. At that time, he began in private practice in the current location. He continues his learning as a member of three dental study clubs and attends many continuing education courses annually.
