Great hours and convenient to pick up a half gallon of milk, snacks, etc. without going all the way to Target or Trader Joe’s(or when they’re not open). Staff is always friendly.

It’s a little corner market with an ok selection of products — pretty much what you expect from a neighborhood market. They keep the place pretty clean and the guys behind the counter always seem friendly. Today(Thanksgiving) when I stopped in they had a little portable grill out from and they were grilling up a roast. Asked the guy about it and he said since they had to work on Thanksgiving they were making a little Thanksgiving day meal there — and if I was around later I was welcome to have a bite or two. Didn’t take him up on it since I was going to my relatives for the day. back to the parts that matter: — the dairy products always seem pretty fresh — picked up a quart of milk today and it had a Dec 9 date. better than the Dec 3 date on the milk at whole foods from 2 days ago. — decent beer selection — even some specialty brews — ok wine selection — will do in a pinch — small selection of canned goods, baking products, cereal, etc — lots of snacks — typical list of sundries Prices are higher than Safeway, etc — but that is what you expect from the little corner market. And I always wonder — the Sunny Market is right next to the Rainbow Cleaners. Was that intentional?

My local corner market. Yes the prices are not that great, but you pay for convince. They do have a value 40 if you are looking to relive those college days. $ 2.25 out the door.

Sunny Market and/or it’s predecessors have been around for decades. they are open even in the wee hours of the morning should one develop a thirst but wanna skip the bar scene. all beers priced, microbrews in plentiful supply. a little pricey. pricey real estate? some canned grocery available too. pour: red stripe lager, 24 oz. 2.79 + –on draught on site parking available. ding dong rings when one enters the shop.
