Super 7 Retail Store

I am an absolute nerd for toys, collectibles, and movie memorabilia, so this place is definitely a spot where I feel comfortable dropping some paper to build my personal collection. I come here because they have tons of funko reaction action figures, which is right up my alley, but this place absolutely thrives off of their star wars products. I appreciate that they carry something for everyone, no matter what your budget will allow you to purchase. I believe that everyone should be able to start a collection to some extent, and I feel that this place agrees :)

The service here is terrible. I love the t-​shirt designs and have been coming here for years to get shirts for my husband. The help is usually bad, but today took the cake. I bought two shirts and was treated badly. I will not be returning. I live in the neighborhood and rarely go onto Haight Street because of the attitude, way to go Super 7 and perpetuate the awful reputation this neighborhood has received.

Great store! I love the 80’s movies/​TV shows/​cartoon stuff and they have GREAT t-​shirts.

Great toys/​collectible spot in SF! I have never heard of this place till I went to SF last weekend. Very cool people helping me out and showing me what type of collectables they have.
They have great toys but a great selection of books and clothes! If your in SF or taking a vacation stop by this store on Haight street in San Francisco.

Not a collector, and don’t know about anything for collectables. But, I love this place as I was wandering around shopping and primarily looking for some original tees to take home to family — we’ve somehow gotten into a groove of locating the myriad shops in big cities that design and print such great art. Ended up with two tees and two awesome prints to take back East. The staff in there the day I was there was excellent. We talked quite a bit about the art and the whole experience was great.

I was excited to visit here during my stay in San Francisco, as I’ve heard a lot about the store and collect a lot of their Kaiju figures back home. This place was similar to Giant Robot, which I believe closed down, but they both have very different collectibles inside.
They carry, toys, apparel, vintage toys, kaiju vinyl and urban vinyl figures. I came here mainly for the kaiju and they did not disappoint! The place has plenty of selection and the prices were some of the best I’ve seen. They even had a discount bin for older stock that had plenty of good vinyl figures left in it!
The employees were super helpful and made me feel very welcome throughout my visit. They also suggested I check the website and gave me a few freebies with my purchases. I can’t wait to visit this place again, I wish there were more stores like this in Canada!

Reminds me of Giant Robot back in L.A.‘s Little Osaka neighborhood. Well, closer to GR2.
For a geek shop, it’s subtle.

Nothing like a lot of the pictures posted here with loads of toys on almost countless shelves.
They’ve got a couple cases of Star Wars figures and a few other collectibles, toward the back. They mostly sell pricey T-​shirts, posters of nerd-​inspired art (it was the tauntaun meat diagram in the window that caught my eye), and a few graphic novels you can’t readily find at Barnes & Noble.
Ones with Glenn Danzig and Henry Rollins as a gay couple, in particular.
It’s worth visiting to check out the art, if you happen to be in the Haight.

Super cool store to walk through especially if you’re a Star Wars fan. They have a lot of cool graphic tees, toys and memorabilia. They’re definitely priced like a boutique shop. So, tees are around $ 30. But def worth a look!

Really cool store, but not very friendly… I even mentioned how cool the Star Wars shirts were and got zero response. Afterwards he preceded to sit behind the counter not saying anything… I was planning on buying a few things, but having worked retail in past I just couldn’t. Maybe he was having a bad day, not sure.

These guys are pretty cool. I like their entrepreneurial efforts in developing their own products (Aliens Line)

I have yet to purchase anything here because I’m poor, but OMG… the Star Wars shirts alone are brilliant (I personally am dying to grab the Stormtrooper/​Escher themed print). The book selection is interesting and unique and everything in the store makes me want to scream «SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY!» — it’s just super cool.

We HAD to go into Super 7 after spotting their awesome Star Wars holiday storefront display. It was like we were ensnared in a tractor beam!
Among their offerings are art prints, art books, designer toys, vintage toys and vinyl figures (including Star Wars and old school Japanese movie monsters– nice!), graphic t-​shirts and random pop culture ephemera and collectibles. I liked digging through the discount shirt bins near the counter, you can find some sweet finds for $ 10 or 3 for $ 25.
Check out Super 7, it’s swell. (No, I won’t say «Super 7 is super», that’s too easy! Ha)

My family and I used to frequent Super 7 when it was located in J-​Town. Loved visiting and I would frequent their website after the move to Haight.
I recently purchased the Minimalist Stormtrooper tee. First, the order was shipped to the wrong address. Was super excited to finally receive the replacement tee!
As I do with all of my collectible, limited edition tees, I washed the tee using a gentle cycle, cold water wash and rinse and I laid flat to air dry away from any heat or sunlight. To my extreme shock, the tee shrank a full size, rendering the tee unwearable because the tee was now too small. For $ 43 (after shipping), I expected the tee to be a better quality than this. I purchase a lot of tees and this one goes down as one of the poorest in quality I’ve ever purchased.
Extremely disappointed, I wrote Luke an email advising him of the above. I told Luke that I would be sending the tee back to the store. I did not ask for any compensation or refund of any sort. All I asked was that they donate the tee to a local charity.
Never heard back from Luke. Didn’t even receive an apology let alone an acknowledgment that he received the email. Just goes to show how much the Super 7 team values me as a customer.
Won’t be going back to the store nor will I be checking out their website going forward. I would have given a 0 star rating if I could have.

Una de mis tiendas fetiche en Haights. Camisetas de diseños molones a buen precio 15 $-20 $ y algunas de saldo a 5 $ (aunque no son las más chulas, claro).
Estos tíos diseñan y producen ellos mismos, parecen muy seriotes… y en realidad son muy amables y sonríen de verdad. Pegatineo y figuritas completan la oferta. Thumbs up!

Awesome shop with all the cool Japanese and American sci-​fi icons from the past and present. Books, vintage action figures, clothing and prints. Cool shop to check out fo sho.

Great local shop that has all kinds of nerdy and fun items. They have some great shirts, art prints books and other stuff. I spent a good half hour really taking it all in and I ended up walking away with a really cool Hitchcock shirt where birds make up his famous silhouette.

This store makes nerdiness look cool. If only I could do the same. They’ve got a sweet selection of Star Wars-​themed stuff and clothing, as well as California gear (which I like to buy to rep my Cali pride here in Chicago). I liked the original artwork prints they had for sale too.
Don’t forget about the small sale section in the back corner of the store. I do like a bargain.

This is one of those stores that might typically be labeled for hardcore fans or nerds, but has enough nifty, awesome merchandise and friendly staff to be for those of us who are secretly nerds but don’t want to reveal it!
This is a small location located in Haight Ashbury district which is stocked full of Star Wars memorabilia and awesome shirts as well as loads of vinyl toys. They’re doing something similar to what I saw at Munky King in LA with Misfortune Cats, except its with Mummy (s) and they’re sooooo adorable!
They also have really reasonable prices on just about everything they sell. $ 25 a pop for most designer T-​shirts (i.e. cool designs you’d actually want to be caught dead in) and $ 40 a print for most signed, numbered prints to jazz up those white walls. There are even some awesome vintage vinyl figures you will be hard pressed to find elsewhere. Definitely a fun stop and a great shopping destination on Haight.

Settled in around the Haight/​Ashbury area for the weekend to catch some SF Giants game and Tim Lincecum bobblehead game all the way from LA!
I take a lot of pride in my SF Giants and make the annual trip to catch some baseball every year!
As a Giants fan living in LA less than 10 mins away from Dodgers Stadium how can you miss the «BANKRUPT» t-​shirt looking like the LA Dodgers logo? I walked in and purchased one which will be worn in the near future down in LA.
Thanks Super 7. Nice little independent shop selling self-​made shirts, clothing and even «Japanese» style toys.
The Bankrupt was a bit expensive (almost $ 30) for a plain white tee… but well worth the money to wear with pride in LA!

I live to go to stores like these. And out of all the ones I’ve been to, this is definitely not amongst the best. I too had the less-​than-​welcoming feeling from the staff, who also neglected me and carried on their own conversation when I walked in.
The art here is cool but on the more expensive end, even moreso than typical designer toys. The shirts and books are pretty cool but again, pricey.
They had sale bins on the floor near the bookshelf. I wanted to look through them but of course they put them on the floor, making it super embarrassing for any cheap-​o such as myself who actually wants to look through them. It’s like the kneel of shame just to look at a few discount items thrown nonchalantly into a bin.
I’ll probably be back because I’m a sucker for stores like these and I love Haight to death. Hopefully I’ll have a better second impression and actually not be too intimidated by the death-​staring staff to buy something.

After standing in line in the cold for over 5 and half hours to snag a coveted Johnny Cupcakes limited edition suitcase tour shirt… it’s hard to remember what this store is all about… JK, I’ve been here before but I was in daze after that ordeal…
If stores like Kid Robot and Giant Robot move you to drain your bank account this is your kind of place. They have high end collectibles and than smaller items like books and t-​shirts that almost anyone can afford. The service is always friendly in your typical geeky way and it’s a perfect compliment to end a day in Japantown. Enjoy!

A friggin’ zipper pull was 4 $ at this place!
But honestly, everything is so rad, modern, and hipster.
