The service was really nice. I liked that they have a doorbell policy. The room was really dark but open to the rest of the 2 story house. The masseur was very communicative even though there was a language barrier. Like all genuine foot reflexologists he had a massage tool, and pinpointed each region of the foot and said what it affected (eyes, sleep, stomach). At first it was very low pressure but I told him to do high pressure and I almost died ! (In a good way) Give them a call and ask for Mark!

Me and my friend both got 30-​min foot massage. OK for such a low price, although I did have some hygienic concerns about this place.

Very nice massage from William. Came a little early, but they were about to service me when I got in. Very relaxing massage. Not too much pressure. Just the right amount. Would definitely go back esp at $ 45 an hour.

One of the worst experiences I have ever had in a business. This dirty, dingy place put me off from the start, but when paying 25 dollars for an hour massage you cannot expect perfection.
The massage was done with such lack of care. What was done to one side was not mirrored in the least on the other. We had to ask them to turn off the TV, they two women chit chatted the whole time, and one of them burped while massaging my face.
Additionally, when my boyfriend asked the woman to go softer she said something in Mandarin to the other woman, they both laughed, and then apologized in English for the joke made at his expense.
I wanted to leave 3 times because the woman massaging me clearly had no idea what to do and spent over 3 minutes massaging my left baby toe; I watched the clock. However, when switching to my right foot she did not even touch my toes.
I was uncomfortable, cold and unhappy throughout this entire my experience. As a Chinese foot massage lover this really turned me off.

i really like this relaxing massage lounge. they have decent service. they have a tv to watch. they also recently redecorated should check that out sometime.

I was bruised the next day. I had knots and they were handled, but just not as lovingly as I’d like. Overall, still a good chair massage.

I thought about giving Super Foot Spa two stars, but as I sit in with pain and bruises two days later, it is clear one star is more than deserved.
After the Cherry Blossom Festival on Saturday, we decided a foot massage place sounded like a great idea. As our first choice was booked, we Unilocaled and came up with a couple places but ultimately decided on Super Foot because of convenience. We got lucky and found a parking space directly in front of Super Foot. I sat and looked at the establishment and was confused because there was a sign on the window that said $ 25 for an hour and then a free standing sidewalk sign said $ 20 foot massage.
Upon walking in at around 3:30 — 3:45ish, a man we assumed was the owner was massaging a lady. I told him there were three of us and he proceeded to get up, told us to sit down in one of the chairs, and got on his phone to call other workers… all while the poor lady was still laying there with an interrupted massage.
As two other workers walked in about 10 minutes later and brought us buckets of water to soak our feet and proceeded to give us facial massages. It started out good… until my masseuse’s phone went off and he picked it up! His phone rang about 3 – 4 times throughout the massage and he proceeded to pick it up EVERYTIME!
The order of massage: face, scalp, arm, leg, and foot for $ 25 for 60 minutes. For an additional $ 5, you’ll lay in the recliner where they will work on your shoulder/​back area — save the $ 5, it’s not worth it.
*Face massage: pretty good, pressure points were concentrated on
*Scalp massage: okay, no big deal
*Arm massage: sucked, it felt like he was touching and pinching my arm rather than massaging
*Leg massage: it started off good until he found a muscle next to my ankle which he says is tense because I «dance too much» in which I started flinching because IT HURT. Instead of lightening up the pressure, he applied MORE pressure and left me in pain.
*Foot massage: seemed like almost no time was spent on my foot even though it was a foot massage, too much time was concentrated on my «tense muscle»
*Shoulder/​back massage: OUCH! I wanted a massage, not pounding! Instead of rubbing me out, fists were used to pound my back!
With the exception of who we assume is the owner, the other masseuses do not speak English. However, instead of giving you a quiet, relaxing environment, mine and my friend’s masseuse sat there talking to each other.

PARKING:
Metered street parking, 1 hour limit. The owner (?) was nice enough to feed the meter for us with the coins we provided.
In the end, I left tenser than when I got there. As I love wearing my 5.5 inch heels on the weekends, my legs were not happy with me that night. Bruises have formed where my «tense muscle from dancing» is. Super Foot, I will not be back…

After hitting up the Cherry Blossom Festival on Sat, 4.17, the girls and I decided that we needed to get a foot massage if we were going to make it through another night of clubbing. Because Wonderfoot was fully booked for the day, we decided to hit up Super Foot Spa which we found on Unilocal.
We walked in at around 3:45 PM and was warmly greeted by an older gentlemen which I believe was the owner. He was the only one there at a time and was busy with a customer. He had to call in additional employees who arrived in 10 minutes. I found that quite odd especially when there are 7 – 8 massage chairs and it was a Saturday afternoon and all.
PRICES:
The pricing was very confusing. Outside SFS, a banner advertised the foot massage for $ 25/​hour while a wooden sign says it was $ 20/​hour. And, when, we went inside the price list said $ 30/​hour for various foot massages including a RECTAL AND PENAL MASSAGE! Say Whaaa???
We asked the owner what the difference was and he said the $ 30/​hour massage is a foot, shoulder, and back; while the $ 25 was is the foot and shoulder only. We all opted for the $ 30 massage.
Visa and MC accepted.
PROCESS:
1) My feet was soaked in a wooden bucket for 15 minutes while I got a scalp, face and arm massage. The scalp and face massage felt really good as my masseuse used pressure points followed by strong strokes. The arm massage was painful and felt like my arm was getting pounded by a meat tenderizer.
2) After 15 minutes, my masseuse proceeded to the foot, ankle, and foot massage which was PAINFUL!!! I walked in with various bruises from the previous weekend’s shenanigans; a bruise the size of a mango on my left shin, a black/​blue left ankle, three bruises on my right shin, and fist size bruise on my right foot w/​a heel mark. I specifically told him to please do NOT massage the places I had bruises on which he acknowledged with a head shake, but obviously did NOT comprehend. He started to massage my left ankle bone and I started flinching and told them that it hurt. Not knowing that I understood Canto, he told his co-​worker that I in fact had a sprained ankle and that he needed to rub out all the kinks. Then he started asking, «I wonder what race she is?» I immediately said, «I understand what your saying…» In shock, he said, «Why didn’t you tell me you were in pain?» WTF, if I’m flinching, squirming, and saying «ouch», should that be enough of an indication to STOP???
He then proceeded to massage my mango-​sized bruise and again I started to flinch and squirm. He then commented about how is it possible that I have so many bruises all over the place and that’s when the owner, came to take a look and made the comment in my intro. Needless to say, I didn’t get much of a «foot massage» and instead 30+ minutes was spent «massaging» my bruises which cause me to be in more pain leaving then before walking in.
3) The last 15 minutes was spent on the shoulder/​back/​butt massage which was PAINFUL. I have a pretty high tolerance for pain and the best description of the shoulder/​back/​butt massage is it felt as though I was being trampled by a horse OVER and OVER again.
Please Note: All the masseuses do not speak/​understand English w/​the exception of the owner which knows just several words. So, you may want to bring a Canto or Mandarin speaking friend with you.
AMBIANCE/​DÉCOR:
SFS is an epitome of a hole-​in-​wall. They use paper towels to wipe off the lotion from your feet and legs; which is pretty damn ghetto in my opinion.
It’s essentially one room with 7 – 8 recliners w/​pillows with cheesy flower covers. Fake flowers surround the place, as well as, weird trinkets like a scary blonde christmas doll.
Instrumental 80’s and early 90’s music is playing in the background, however, you can barely hear it b/​c the whole time I wasdistracted by one of the masseuses answering his personal cell phone and the masseuses constantly talking amongst themselves about the customers. One even commented how my friend’s ankles were all tight b/​c of «too much dancing» while my masseuse kept on commenting on my bruises and how I kept on flinching. Ummm, if someone was twisting your «sprained» ankle, wouldn’t you be flinching too???
I will NOT be coming back to SFS. Although my «sprained» ankle was black and blue before coming here, it wasn’t painful unless I touched it. Not only does it throb now w/​o touching it; I’m slightly limping on it.
Geez, and I thought massages are suppose to be relaxing. SFS really proved me WRONG!

So. first you go in and it looks like
There’s this one guy that barely spoke English that just looked at me for a good 5 minutes before greeting me. I’m not about the whole hospitality and classy greet treatment here, trust me, I would have just liked to be asked why I was there? & then perhaps offer me your massage services?
So anyway, we sat down. It was way awkward. He asked if I wanted the massage that included the back and the shoulders – of course I said yes. A full hour on my feet would have been boring anyway. Plus I’ve aching shoulders. Some couple came in and the lady said she made an appointment. I don’t think SuperFoot has appointment-​making-​skills, lady. Not for $ 25/​hr. I think when he said «yeah yeah yeah» on the phone (Like he did to me when I moved my schedule up) he just said it to end the conversation. Lady was ditched & I felt guilty ;(
He switches on the tv. WHY I DON’T KNOW I wanted peace and quiet. But nevermind, he has some Chinese show on, so I changed it cause he handed me the remote to some Spa New Age music. You know, aid him with the ambience part. Then he changes it to CARTOON. Cartoon for like 3 year olds, not even like adult cartoon. So I started laughing cause I thought it was hilarious that I was listening to some cat trying to solve mysteries– at this point, whatever right?
No! He picked up his dang cellphone 39 484 times during my massage. & all those times I hear him mumble and hang up on people on the phone after he says «Super Foot Massag-​gee» That was way annoying. In fact, he was on the phone and using the other hand to massage my foot. Ugh, unprofessional!
I keep telling myself it’s only 25/​hr although they had a sign that said 20/​hr!!! It’s okay, let it go. You get what you pay for… & you know what I’m okay with spending more $$ at Wonderfoot which is also on Geary– They give you Japanese Rice Crackers and the receptionist’s a sweetpea!
The massage was… alright.

I made an appt for a massage elsewhere but came across this place so my bf and I decided to try this place instead. I thought I would be saving money cuz its cheaper! Little did I know it was a mistake, but I guess I deserved it for ditching my appointment.
It started out decently enough, the warm tub of water to soak my feet and then the upper body massage. Just as I was getting comfortable, the phone rings and my massuer had to answer it. Then someone dropped by and he had to greet them. So, on and off my massage was interrupted multiple times and I did not feel comfortable throughout the duration of the massage. I was already pretty self conscious because it was a man working on me but add to the fact that he kept getting interrupted and how painful he was pounding out my arms and legs… it just wasn’t fun. Even though he said he’d give me a few extra minutes to make up for the many interruptions, it didn’t do much. I was not comfortable nor relaxed anymore at that point, as hard as I tried to be.
I think my neck got injured after the massage because I can’t turn my head or look down without being in pain. I don’t think my bf enjoyed his massage very much either because he said he couldn’t really feel the positive effects of it. Overall, it was a cheap massage and we let that low price tag lure us into getting injured. I feel bad for the guys because they worked hard for their money but the fact of the matter is that I was very disappointed in the massage I got. I gotta be honest, this place just wasn’t for me. My experience here really confirmed that I can only have a woman work on me because they’re just more intuned to my body. Plus, I felt a little violated when the guy was massaging my inner thighs and very close to my boobs. kinda like he was checking for lumps or something. It was pretty weird and totally awkward!!!
Also, they play this one instrumental song over and over, looping for the entire hour! That got old real fast and it was driving me nuts. Thay seemed like nice people but my experience was a let down and I probably won’t be coming back.

While I was getting a massage here i saw «William», not his real name, for sure, feel up a woman’s legs and chest.
My massage was barely noticible. I’m sure he did something but I didn’t feel it at the time. Now my foot hurts now when it did not before. Not worth $ 20/​hr. Not worth $ 5/​hr.

Foot massage places are popping up all over the city, and I couldn’t resist the opportunity to spend my money at one of these popular businesses.
Super Foot Spa, right off of Geary, caught our eye as we drove by the other night. Advertising $ 25 for an hour, it was way better than what I get at home in Vegas.
Finding metered parking was a breeze, but having change for the meter was a challenge. Luckily one of the masseuses at Super Foot Spa had enough change for our meter and we happily took a seat near the back.
After being presented with their spa menu and making our selection, buckets of hot herbal water were brought out for our feet to soak in. We sat back and read a magazine for 15 minutes before we were attended to again. Kelly was my masseuse and she immediately got working on my head, face, and neck. I was quickly reminded as to why I prefer female masseuses — they have nails. After about 15 minutes of above the shoulder work, they came around to work on our arms before heading to our feet.
It wasn’t too long when the foot work started that I heard the Husband snoring — and that’s a good sign. I was easily lulled to sleep as well. There was one point when the Husband’s masseuse answered his cell phone. There was some dialogue, but it was brief. If the masseuse spoke to each other, they kept their voices low, which we did appreciate. When they were completely done with us, I saw that they really did massage us for the whole hour. We both left feeling pretty rested and not overly worked.
Overall, they did a good job on our feet, head, face, neck, and arms. Sure, they don’t do any back work for the $ 25/​hr price, but we left pleased. This might be the kind of place where customers don’t want to be smashed and pushed on, but still get some good work done on the feet. My only real complaint was that near the end of our session, a customer came in and he was shouting at the top of his lungs. He must have been a regular because he was engaging in a very loud conversation (about flights being delayed) with the staff, and was just very rude with the way he hollered. If he had come in earlier, I probably would have told him to shut up. If anyone else encounters this guy, please tell him to be quiet! Thanks!

Talk about $ 25 well spent. Foot reflexology — mmm!!! For a chronic stress-​basket, like myself, Super Foot Spa is really the answer. Sure it’s a bit tricky to communicate with the folks and the mystery massage balm is a little medicinal smelling, but these guys know their craft and can make you feel brand new in just an hour. Plus, they are genuinely nice people and very appreciative of your business. I highly recommend it as a sublime ending to a long day of shopping or a hard work week. Bring a friend or loved one along and enjoy!

This is indeed a no-​frills, but totally clean Chinese massage joint. I came in here w/​the mademoiselle & my mom, a couple of weeks ago and they were surprised to have 3 customers, all of a sudden, late on a Saturday eve. They scrambled to find a person for me while the ladies got started.
Overall, a foot massage is $ 25 (though I tipped heavily, due to latent Catholic guilt) and includes a scalp, neck, arm, hand and foot massage. The foot is the «feeture» (ha!), but they overall try to hit the main body parts. The entire massage was somewhere between 1hr & 1hr 20! Pretty impressive!
The folks here don’t speak any English either. When paying with credit card, I wrote down what I wanted to pay (total, including tip), so keep that in mind!

been to a few foot massage places this past year. and this one has got to be the best. yes, they talk a lot and its not super quiet, but remember you’re not at a super swanky luxurious spa! you’re here because you wanted a good massage without paying an arm and a leg. anyhoo. to the point — 5 stars and i am definitely coming back! they really knew how to massage and used varying degrees of pressure depending on the part of the body they were massaging. some places do not, and i leave with bruises! i had the lady and my bf had the guy. we both enjoyed our massages and left feeling super relaxed. highly recommended.
Note: They are OPEN on Fridays (I went on a Friday evening). I am pretty sure Saturdays too.

I’m a spa girl all the way; love the sauna/​steam room, bathrobe, zen and lavender feel. But occasionally, I enjoy a no frills massage where I don’t have to make an appointment. Walk in places are great!
I was feeling this horrible cramp on my foot yesterday after jogging with my sister at the beach, and decided to get myself a foot massage.
I made my way over to Super Foot after a monthly wax-​job, and surprisingly found perfect parking right outside the place, quite rare in the Richmond District.
I’ve always been skeptical of these type of foot massage places that have curtains blocking out the inside to the street, but I took my chances. I rang the doorbell, and I was cheerfully welcomed by an older Chinese man, and a little Chinese guy (the little guy was maybe his son, and was translating for the older guy.)
The place was empty, but I figured that since there was the little guy translating, there wasn’t going to be any silly stuff going on if you know what I mean.
The place was decorated with tacky Chinese decorations, and fake fruit displays throughout the purple and orange walls. Wooden screens separated sections of the massage areas, but many chairs were grouped in 3’s. Luckily, since it was empty at the time I went, I got to chose a somewhat secluded area.
Evan was my therapist. Such a nice man! And despite me not being able to converse with him in Mandarin, he tried his best to make sure I was comfortable throughout the session.
All massages start with a hot tea foot soak, while receiving a pressure point massage on the neck, shoulders, back, and scalp. For a little Chinese man, Evan sure does have a killer grip.
After the foot soak, and massage, the foot reflexology session starts. The couches are very comfortable, and you are provided with a soft fleece blanket as well.
Reflexology isn’t relaxing, mind you, it’s more pressure points, so they aren’t smooth strokes. It was quite a painful experience, but no pain no gain. Evan definitely did get a lot of the kinks out of my foot.
For 25 bucks, it’s a one hour massage. Can’t get any more reasonable than that!
I will definitely back next time for a no nonsense foot massage session.

Wow, talk about neighborhood gem! I always wanted to come here and I finally made it there yesterday. Johnson and his staff are amazing and incredibly kind, very good vibes all around. For $ 25 an hour I’ll being coming here quite often I think!

Right now they have a special $ 25/​hour! They are competing with a newer place that just opened up next door.
I support Super Foot Spa because they don’t nearly get the clientele that they deserve. I am mostly writing this review for Johnson, he is the most intuitive therapist I’ve ever encountered. He even helped me diagnose my urinary tract infection via reflexology once. I am a massage therapist, and I have dragged my broken/​abused body in there after so many long days and Johnson is always there to fix me back to new. He not only works on feet, he’ll work on arms/​hands (my fav), shoulders, legs.
Simply put, he is a god.

I do a lot of walking, biking and wincing around in tight climbing shoes, not to forget that I am on the survival income here in lovely San Francisco, so Super Foot Spa is just right for me.
I’ve tried a few other foot massage spas and they’re great. They usually have soothing music – this one doesn’t. They usually have a well, or seemingly thought out décor – this one doesn’t. They usually have a bunch of women scampering about – this one doesn’t.
I did get a really great foot massage though and walked out of there in a sweet cloud (or FOG, as the day turned out to be) happiness and my feet are still tingling.
I don’t know if they do this for everyone, or if everyone would like it, but I did – this very nice woman used something like a comb on my feet, which had me at times, both relaxed and on the edge of my seat, but over-​all, post-​massage – a pleasant feeling.
The foot massages start at $ 20 and go up from there, perfect for the frenzied and yet, budget minded.
