Gentle, soothing, skillful, articulate. Susan gives the type of full treatment that our healthcare system is often so terribly lacking. She treats the issue, the root of the issue, and even cares for any emotional pain surrounding the issue. It is truly a holistic experience.

So here is how I ended up at Dr. Susan Green’s office; I jumped off a cliff into a pond of water (yeah, I know) and hurt my lower back. I was in such horrible pain for the first week, but did not seek any medical help (I hate going to the doctor). I eventually started feeling better, but even after two months, I still didn’t feel like my usual self. I finally bit the bullet and found Dr. Green on Unilocal.This was my first time going to a chiropractor and I’m so glad I found someone so kind, experienced and knowledgeable.
I went for a consultation and 3 followup sessions. After every session, I always felt the improvement. I can say with confidence that I feel 100% better after my last session with Dr. Green. She really made a difference and fixed my back. I am so grateful for her work and wish I went earlier (lesson for next time, but hope there is no next time).
You start off with a one hour consultation and follow up sessions are thirty minutes after that. She takes medical insurance. The office is called Cloud Rest Healing which I believe is shared with a few other practitioners. It is a nice little gem in the Outter Sunset.
If you are looking for a chiropractor, come find Dr. Green! Trust me, she knows what she’s doing!

Susan has been a great help in reducing my shoulder and back pains that I thought could never go away. She has a warm presence and integrates other practices from her experiences into her chiropractic work. She’s very attentive to my needs and I continue looking forward to every visit.

Dr. Susan Green made my pain go away. That pretty much says it all and is worthy of 5 stars right there. But that’s only the tip of the iceberg. As others have said, Dr. Green is very caring and attentive to the whole person. The first visit includes a long conversation about what’s going on. Dr. Green is a great listener, and her caring comes through immediately. Then the hands on healing begins. Ultrasound, laser, massage, gentle manipulation, exercise to do at home. She even gave me her cell phone number in case I didn’t feel better over the long weekend after my first treatment. I experienced improvement the next day, but when some of the pain persisted for a couple of weeks, Dr. Green dug deeper and realized part of the problem was my car seat. She lent me a wedge pillow and said I could pay for it in a couple of weeks if it helped. It did! I only needed a few treatments, and although I’m not wishing for more back and leg pain, I do hope to see Dr. Green again. She’s simply wonderful, and Clouds Rest Healing Center truly lives up to its name. Don’t wait another day, make an appointment and look forward to feeling good again!

Dr, Susan Green is one of the most caring doctors i have ever gone to. She listens, she knows what she’s doing, and she is very nice. I went to her because she was listed on my workers comp list and it turned out she actually no longer was. but she still treated me and didnt worry about the $.
i went to another chiropractor who i thought was nice but the appointments were literally no more than 10 minutes long. each appointment with dr. green was at least 30 minutes and she spent the entire time concentrating on ME.
i would HIGHLY recommend her!

Last year I moved to the Bay Area to be closer to family. Moving boxes and furniture lit up an old back condition, and my daughter suggested I see her chiropractor, Dr. Susan Green, who helped her through her pregnancy related back pain. In Oregon I had a whole team of practitioners to help me when my back gave me trouble, but they were 500 miles away, so I agreed to try Dr. Green.
It took a couple of days to get an appointment, but it was worth the wait. In the first visit she did several tests to figure out what was wrong with my back, she gave me an amazing treatment, and sent me home with exercises. (She didn’t just give me a handout like my old doctor would. She didn’t let me leave the office until I showed her I could do the exercises properly). I only had to see her twice more before I was back to normal.
About a month ago I sprained an ankle in a Zumba class, and went back to see if Dr. Green could help. Again she did some tests. She worked on my leg and ankle then she gave me a «cold laser» treatment. It was a pretty bad sprain, and I had to go in several times, but now I’m back to Zumba and feeling great.
I highly recommend Dr. Green.

Have to put in my vote here for Dr. Green! I had been leery of chiropractors before, only having heard silly stereotypes about them, but Susan Green has been a revelation! She is the most caring health care professional I’ve probably ever come across, and equally as knowledgeable. She listens intelligently and is discerning in her treatment. She has obviously continued to further expand and enhance her skills and is gentle, thorough and effective. I am wholeheartedly grateful to have found her! Couldn’t ask for anyone more helpful and on my side!

Sports related injuries can be frustrating and difficult to recover from when they become chronic due to misdiagnosis and neglect. After a long episode of attempting to recover on my own from a debilitating psoas muscle strain, I sought out a variety of health practitioners for advise and treatment. After several unsuccessful encounters, I found Dr Susan Green through the active release affiliates website. Within the first several visits, Dr Green helped me to relate to my injury in new ways. Thanks to her targeted strengthening and stretching exercises, I quickly began to make progress and recover. Her advise and treatment sessions were expressed with the utmost in care and attention to my well-​being. Dr Green’s positive energy is what I personally would hope to find in any healing professional; however, it was not my experience that this is always the case. Now that I am running again, I am thankful to have found a person as competent and caring as Susan Green. I hope that anyone reading these comments will be as fortunate. A glance at the other comments assures me that I am not alone in my assessment. Wholeheartedly agree with the many 5 star ratings.

Susan is a wonderful doctor! she takes her time, is thorough in her assessment, she genuinely cares about her patients, and she actually listens! She has helped me learn more about my body, and how to balance its strengths and weaknesses. I would recommend her to anyone looking for quality, effective, long-​lasting care.

Susan Green is an incredible chiropractor. She takes her time, listening to your individual story, and applying her many techniques to gently bring you back to health, including laser technology. She’s the OPPOSITE of the type of chiropractor who cracks, cracks, cracks and sends you out the door. She is so very compassionate and knowledgeable, and treats my chronic neck issues gently and effectively. I don’t trust my neck with anyone else, for many years now. I feel so fortunate to have Susan here in the city. I have recommended her to friends who have been equally happy with her services. I couldn’t recommend Susan more highly!

I have been in the restaurant business woring on my feet for well over 22 years. I can sell sunglasses to a blind person, as my fiancée tells me, but it does take its toll on the knees, lower back, shoulders, and neck. Being a prideful individual, I distracted myself from the final action of actually seeking help for well over half a year when I needed to because of the constant pain and discomfort I was feeling in all of the above mentioned places, especially my knees and back. But low and behold, as soon as life had given me a strong enough sign in the form of a trusted friend recommending the glorious Dr. Susan T. Green at the Clouds Rest Healing Center and I actually followed through and visited their brightly lit, clean, and quite harmonious office, I felt as though my pain and discomfort was in the kind embrace of the universe’s righteous plan to make everything okay. I have only had two visits so far, but my chronic knee discomfort due to problems of an inflammatory nature have been put to rest and I can tell that everything else is going to fall into place as good karma sees fit. I am so very thankful to Dr. Green and her extensive knowledge and experience that she has gained by working over the past thirty years perfecting her craft. She is a mighty warrior against the pain that life offers and her weapons are her kindness, intuition, wisdom, character, skill, and hilarity. I am almost sad to think about the fact that she is going to have my body in tip top shape in no time at the rate she is going and then I will not require seeing her on a weekly basis. Oh well, it appears as though I need to appreciate the next couple weeks, listen to her advice, and perform the tasks that she requests and then I truly will have the best possible version of my body at my soul’s disposal…

I was referred to Dr. Green by another chiropractor for a significant limitation of motion in both hips. I was hesitant to go to a chiropractor after hearing «horror stories». But Dr. Green has been gentle and kind and respectful of my fears. And better yet — I am getting better! Her treatments have been very effective and I am very encouraged about my progress. She really knows what she is doing. Plus, her office staff has been great — very willing to accomodate the uncertainties of my insurance coverage. All in all, this has been a wonderul experience and I would highly recommend Dr. Green. You will be in good hands!

A bit of background is necessary to put this whole thing into context: Dr. Green was the EIGHTH (that’s right 8^th) person I saw about my problem. I have been to 2 acupuncturists, 3 MDs (including a fun-​times epidural), 1 physical therapist, and one other chiropractor, not to mention countless massage therapists, before I finally found Dr. Green (through a co-worker’s recommendation). I have been in horrible chronic pain for almost a year at this point: the kind of pain that is highly unfortunate because it prevents you from being able to sit, thus ruining your life (who knew we spent most of our time sitting on our bums anyways?).
I could tell right from the beginning that unlike all the other people I’ve seen before, Dr. Green actually takes a holistic approach to solving the problem. She was immediately able to zero in on several possible causes of my overall «dysfunction» and commenced treatment the same day. And when I say «treatment,» I mean she actually spends the entire half an hour that you’re in her office manipulating your muscles/​joints. She has amazing state of the art equipment, which I have not seen other practitioners use, but which I found especially helpful for untangling all the knots in my muscles. Dr. Green spends a lot of time manipulating soft tissue, so if you’ve had chiropractic treatment before, this is likely different (and far more pleasant). Plus, it doesn’t hurt that she’s generally just an extremely pleasant person who genuinely cares about her patients and listens to them.
To sum up: I’ve been seeing Dr. Green for about 2.5 months now and I’ve been steadily getting better with each visit. I could see improvement after the 2^nd visit, which was amazing, given the fact that I’ve been in constant pain for a year. She has literally given me my life back and I can’t thank her enough. (This review is a start!)

One rear ended incident on the freeway injured three members of my family all at once. I was anxious to find a really good chiropractor to perform treatments for them, because I’ve had many not so good experience elsewhere. Dr. Green was extremely patient with my parents and I. My parents don’t speak a whole lot of English, so I was there to translate and saw every aspect of the sessions taking place. She customizes the treatments to each individual, unlike some other chiropractors that I’ve been to myself that just does there routine cracking of your joints or using the gun to pop several points. She does combination of physical adjustments, gun popping, massages, ultra sound electric device, the whole nine yards to help you to feel better. For example, my dad can take more pressure whereas my mom was more delicate, didn’t like the gun popping and Dr. Green adjusted the sessions to their needs. She took time to evaluate each of my parent carefully and suggested specific exercises to do at home to rebuild muscle strength. She’s very friendly and approachable when you have any questions. She asks you if it is ok to do certain thing before she does it so there are no surprises. All in all, my parents and I felt that she has taken great care of them and recommends Dr. Green to anyone that needs chiropractic help. Their receptionist, Mia was also very helpful in handling all of the billing with our insurance and calling us to remind us of our appointments.
One side note: Part of the reason I pick Clouds Rest Healing Center for my parents was that they have Chiropractors, Massage Therapist, Acupuncturist all under one roof hoping for a more well rounded availability of treatments, but the reality is that they are all individual practitioners and they don’t work for the company as a whole. They just share the facility.
