Love this place, been coming for 10 Years. TV, nice, warm dining room and experience, awesome staff, and locals you’ll see all the time. I like to have them make Eel + creamcheese roll.

We got sushi delivered to our hotel. Service and delivery was friendly enough and our order arrived during the promised time. My daughter really liked the edamame and gave her sushi roll 3 stars. She ordered a rainbow roll with all salmon and soy paper. I ordered the spider roll cut roll and it was okay. I also ordered the salmon belly sushi with garlic and it too was just okay.

I ordered delivery since I was craving Japanese food and it was a mixed review: The New York Steak was RAW. I said I want it MEDIUM. It was bloody raw. The meat quality was good but it was RAW. The beef teriyaki was good. They used old quality meat. The Chicken Karaage was good but it wasn’t crunchy

The five stars are solely for their salmon belly sushi special. It is the best sushi I have had in San Francisco. The salmon belly was very fatty and smooth. It is also thicker than most other SF restaurants would make it. Reminds me of sushi I’ve had in Hong Kong. Other things on the menu are nothing spectacular.

Don’t go for the happy hour. Oddly enough, the happy hour rolls aren’t very good and frankly(I never thought I’d say this) but they didn’t come with enough rice! In order to feel decently satisfied, you’d probably want to eat about five of them… Which nicely leads to my next point. If you’re going to order five happy hour specials then just skip to the chase and get a hand roll. I ordered the salmon belly nigiri and boy was that heaven in my mouth it was a little pricey($ 7) but at least it tasted great!

Ordered delivery. We picked chicken karaage, sushi combo, an extra albacore maki, ikura nigiri, two miso soups, and fried banana with green tea ice cream. First thing first, we were missing both the albacore maki and the ikura nigiri we ordered. On the ones we did get, had hard pieces of unseasoned rice. The karaage was stale. Doesn’t come with utensils, so be careful If you order anything that can’t be eaten with your hands! Never again.

How you gonna call a place SUSHIRAPTURE and not give me a rapturous experience?! To be fair, the food was edible and okay, but I could’ve gotten something better from Nijiya’s deli. It was okay food, but far from rapturous. Sigh. Ordered this for delivery and it came on time, which was good. Tiny portions, fish was meh, rice had no flavor and was kind of hard. It’s cool that they have a lot of options, but for the price, it was overpriced more than anything else. Plus, the rolls were generally tasteless. That should not happen with scallops, because scallops are delicious, and this was just meh. There are better sushi places out there. This was all right, but nothing special.

Ordered chirashi through door dash. No utensils, fish portions were tiny(I just got little tidbits of fish instead of proper slices). Rice wasn’t seasoned really, tasted more like just plain cold rice. Ginger was also spread out all over the rice, which as weird. For the price, this wasn’t worth it.

Just had a bunch of sushi delivered through Eat 24. I tried the Giants Roll, 49ers Roll, and the salmon sashimi. The sushi here isn’t bad, but also not the best. Of the three, the Giants Roll is the only item I would ever order again. However, I would probably rather just try a different sushi restaurant.

Home made soup was delicious. Location is great. They also have happy hours from tuesday to friday so might pop in these days. No music though. And the environment is nothing special.

Decent sushi restaurant — good for pick up! Their salmon sashimi is on point… others not as good.

I don’t know why it’s so hard to have good sushi delivered in this city. And what is with the names of Japanese Restaurants around here? Anyway, Sushi«Rapture» seems to be the most reliable place that will deliver to my apartment, and they usually show up in under an hour. The fish tends to be super fresh, and the portions are generous. I wouldn’t suggest deviating from the basics, though. Once I ordered sukiyaki and it was almost inedible. But as far as nigiri and sashimi go, Sushi Rapture is a safe bet. One note: the delivery boy is really timid, so be nice to him!

EAT24 delivered the food — the condiments were not with the order. Food was Good — Seafood Soup(should have had more seafood), Gyoza Chicken — Good, Not Greasy and Nicely Cooked — Green Tea Ice Cream(not enough in one serving) — The Sashimi Combo — Good, Fresh, Good Price — I will call this restaurant again.

Found a disgusting LONGPIECEOFHAIR in my Oyako Don. This screams unsanitary as hell, and I lost my appetite completely. The chicken in the Oyako Don was also clumpy — like they just dumped clumps of frozen chicken and heated it up. There was little to no flavor at all. Peas and mushrooms seemed like random additions to «fluff» up the dish — never had such unauthentic Oyako Don. Then while picking at the food, I found the piece of hair. *GAG* I also had a couple of standard sushi rolls, but after finding the hair, I kept thinking how unsanitary the raw fish may be. Yes, I’m basing this review on just this one dish, but I don’t care how good the other dishes may be — finding the hair in just one dish is enough to represent the quality of this restaurant’s standards and the food that comes with it.

Uninspiring sushi in this otherwise great neighborhood. The $ 8.95 lunch special(12pm-3pm) comes with the standard miso soup and salad. I’m so uninspired writing a review, I should’ve just written a quick tip.

A rather weird name for a Sushi spot but since the neighborhood is not blessed with too many options I gladly went in here for lunch time. The lunch special(miso, salad, rice, and two items) sounded like a good value($ 8.95) and it turned out to be just okay. Don’t expect an overfloating bento box, instead, the teriyaki beef was put sparely into one corner, while I had to look closely to discover the chicken katsu. I was telling myself that for $ 8.95 I can’t expect much but still, a bit disappointing the portion size. Taste-wise, I’ve seen much better Japanese food but let’s be generous and stick with 3 stars. The spot is really small and more a corner/neighborhood restaurant — reservations not needed. Walk up the hill and forget about parking — you’re in Nob HILL.

Asked for a deep fried California Roll. The price difference between a Non-fried California Roll and a Fried one? $ 6.50 vs. $ 10.50 just to stick it in the deep fryer. The pieces were SO big I could not eat them in one bite. Had to messily eat half a piece at a time with seaweed hanging out of my mouth and rice dribbling down my chin(trust me, it was not a cute site). Mostly filled with the imitation crab, hardly any avocado in it. Service was good though.
