Excellent food and amazingly friendly staff! We had the coconut crêpe and the green duck curry with Thai tea, everything was spot on. They didn’t even mind that we stayed late to chat(even when it was getting busy, which it was on weekday night), they just kept refilling our water glasses. The restroom is through the kitchen so you can see how clean and organized they keep the kitchen. I’ll definitely be returning!

This is one of my favorite Thai restaurants in the city. It is a small hole in the wall that makes up for it’s lack of flair with delicious and cheap food. I am a huge fan of their eggplant, green curry salmon, and pad see ew. The service is great as well with attentive waiters. I visit this spot regularly with my friend and will continue to do so because I always enjoy the food here.

One of my favorite places. It doesn’t look fancy though. And it’s really small. However, the food is absolutely delicious. And staff is super friendly. I’d definitely recommend this place.

Very small restaurant with only nine tables. If you find yourself sitting at a table, consider yourself lucky. The food here is cheap, delicious and will really fill you up. The deep fried crab with mango salad is amazing, try it with a fresh coconut

Great little spot! The waiter and waitresses were nice and always checked up on us. My favorite was the angel wings & hoy tod! Must try if you go there and too bad we don’t live in SF but if we are ever in town, we will definitely be back!

I eat at Thai Time 3 – 4 times a week. The ingredients are fresh, the staff is friendly/professional and the flavor is spectacular. All for an extremely fair price, especially for San Francisco. I HIGHLY recommend the 12. Larp Ped, 47. Pad Krapow with ground chicken, 50. pad ma keur with ground chicken, 19. tom yum gai, 41. gang panang, 38. Gang keaw, 76. Pad se-ew, 77. Pad kee now, and to finish it all off, some mango sticky rice ;). Make sure to get all the dishes ped mak mak(extra spicy). Shoutout to Will and P for the great service!

Long overdue for a review! This place is consistently quality and delicious. I always get takeout, but the restaurant looks like a cute intimate(tiny!) spot for date. Ive enjoyed all of the dishes Ive tried, but my absolute favorites are the coconut Tom Kha Gai(such a COMFORT food and I adore the chewy whole mushrooms), the yellow curry Gang Garee Gai(comes with giant delicious velvety potatoes cubes), and the classic Pad Thai(very satisfying noodle dish). Portions are perfect in my opinion, I always have a little leftover to enjoy later. I get them with chicken every time, and the meat is always great, never funky or weird. I’ve never had to deal with the annoyance of being shorted on food, they get the order right every time. Basically… quality, portion, taste, price, and consistency are on point, very happy to have them in the neighborhood!

If this is some of the best Thai food you’ve ever eaten, I feel sad for you, because there’s better Thai food in San Francisco. You don’t even have to go to Thailand. Pad Thai is bleh — Marnee is better, or even Osha. The fried chicken over garlic rice was pretty good, but there’s a problem when the rice, which is merely meant to be the side dish, is better than the chicken. I liked the appetizer platter, which came with fried tofu, fish cakes, fried shrimp, and spring rolls, but the tofu was extremely bland. Seems like an okay place to grab a bite if you don’t want to leave the neighborhood, but nowhere near the better Thai restaurants I’ve been to in SF.

I had the chicken pad see ew here and it was really good! Highly recommend Thai Time. It’s not expensive and a great alternative to your usual dinner spot.

Pad Thai was meh. Mango salad was pretty good, but it only came w two shrimp. I’d go back, but not for the noodles.

I’ll give this place full STARs as this place’s food is awesome. I love authentic cuisine and in this Neighbourhood all Thai not up to the authentic standard but this place rock my stomach tonight. I enjoyed all food and really wanna come back here to try all of it. Too bad today they not serving mango sticky rice, I’ll definitely come back for it. Good job to all Chef cooking and so busy in kitchen. This place deserved full stars. Thanks to the Chef again.

We went here on All Hallows Eve, and had a great meal. Flavors were just so utterly delightful and perfect. We left happy and satisfied, and definitely want to come back to explore the menu further. (we got everything vegetarian) Tom Yum: most thai places have a noticeably inferior Tom Yum when made vegetarian — not here though. The flavors were balanced, the sours, sweets, and savories all just right. Strong, but not overwhelming. Full of vegetables. One of the best Tom Yum’s we’ve had. Pad See Yew: smooth, flavorful noodles, cooked but not burnt, flavored but not too oily or strong.

Ped kra pow 5⁄5AMAZING pork! Quality is great, great pieces of savory fat with garlic tamarind marinated caramelized skin and juicy bites of meat! just a little minimal portion. With garlic rice and some curry = WOO! Poo nim 4⁄5 soft shell crab, great appetizer! Real small, but it’s an appetizer. Fried and served with brown sugar tamarind sweet and sour sauce. And GREAT fried zucchini chips with the sauce! Green talay seafood curry 3⁄5. I remember this being good in the past, but now it’s more bland towards the end of the flavor ending with an unmatched cream that is too heavy, especially to be alone. Quality pieces, but the soup didn’t have a great taste at the end, only in the beginning. Great little hole in the wall, one of the best Thai places I’ve been to. Good prices and sweet homey service. It’s very intimate, great date or a hang out with a friend! 5⁄5 restaurant and vibe.

A small restaurant that is easy to get overlooked among the sea of restaurants on Clement Street. I gave up on King of Thai a long time ago after the food quality went dramatically downhill, and this is a strong contender to be a local Thai replacement. Highly recommend the salmon green curry. Will be back to try more dishes.

This place used to be our favorite Thai. Maybe even more — on of our favorite restaurants in Inner Richmond. But since they came back from vacation in July/2015, service became total crap. Staff has changed, and it’s now probably the worst restaurant staff I see around. We decided to give yet another try tonight. As we enter, none of the 2 waitresses bothered to clean our table. It was so messy that we couldn’t rest our arms on it. Gross. After waiting about 7 – 8 minutes, one of the 2 waitresses threw 2 menus on us. We knew exactly what we wanted — the usual. As I tell her I was ready to order, she responds in a very disrespectful manner. My only option was then to immediately get up and leave. And promise myself not to make the same mistake again.

Yum! Everything we ordered is wonderful. I love how to tofu is cooked. Great prices. Quality meat. Perfect size portions. We ordered a couple sides of peanut sauce. Very good. I’ll come here again when I visit the city for sure!

Favorite Thai place in the City! I only discovered this place after seeing such a long wait for King’s Thai around the corner. Finally there is a place that makes peanut-free panang curry, sweet and fragrant. Highly recommend you ordering that plus their Pad See Ew. If you want an appetizer, I would suggest you trying the Tom Yum soup. Delicious hot and spicy shrimp soup. Restaurant is small and limited in seating but I haven’t had to wait to get seating every time I go. Take-away: Order the Panang Curry, Pad See Ew, and Tom Yum soup and run with it!

This place is so cute and tiny. Gives off that home-y vibe. This place probably seats 15 people max. Came here on a Friday night for date night. And I think everyone else in that restaurant was on a date. Food was delicious! We ordered the red pumpkin curry, green fried rice, and the Tom Kha soup(which I’m not a fan of most of the time– but it was very good here). And for dessert the mango sticky rice. Food was good and flavorful. Service was great!

Super tiny, unassuming hole-in-the-wall restaurant in Inner Richmond with amazing Thai food. I love restaurants like this, especially when there isn’t a super long wait! Green Rotee is my favorite dish here. I order it every time haha. I love how the deliciously spicy chicken and beef green curry is already served with 4 generous pieces of roti. The portion is always too big for me to finish so I get 2 meals out of it! So awesome because it’s already super cheap(less than $ 10). I’ve also tried their pad thai and angel wings. Love the pad thai, but didn’t love the angel wings so much. Marnee Thai still wins that one. Their«wings» were pork-stuffed boneless wings, but I didn’t taste any chicken at all. It wasn’t too bad, but I definitely wouldn’t order it again. The servers are also super nice. My friend forgot her purse here and waited for 30 minutes past their closing time just so we could pick it up.
