Honesty. A word not often associated with jewelry exchanges HOWEVER my experience with these guys was beyond my expectations!
I took in a diamond tennis bracelet that I knew going in was of good quality and that I should get a decent return on. First off, he almost wouldn’t take it from me because he said he thought I could get more money ELSEWHERE (not trying to shake every last penny out of you kind of guys running the place, fantastic!) then from them. Once he told me what he would offer me (a fair price I felt) I just said yes on the spot and within 5 mins I walked out the door with the cash in my hand!
NOT EVEN THE BEST PART YET!
Cut to over a month and a half later, long after I’ve even remembered taking the bracelet in, and I get a phone call from Isaac letting me know that after further review of my stones etc, they felt they needed to give me an extra $ 500 because it was worth much more than they first offered me. ARE YOU SERIOUS? In this day in age, when everyone could use an extra $ 500 in their pocket, these guys were honest to a fault and notified me that they had the money waiting whenever I could come by and snag it!
Great experience and wish more businesses ran their operations with the honesty the guys at the Van Ness spot do!
