Mr. Neustadt took my $ 1,000 retainer for a divorce and did nothing. When he missed a critical filing date on my case I called him to ask him what he was planning to do — I told him to send me an email — detailing what he planned on doing on my case. He refused to respond in writing and instead insulted me as if I was being unreasonable because I wanted to know what he was doing on my case. When he missed the filing deadline, I was left scrambling to find another attorney! His inaction almost lead to a default judgment against me. Mr. Neustadt talks a good talk, but getting him to put anything in writing or DO anything — he won’t! I have never received a statement from him even when I made multiple requests for one — classic take the money and run. I’m filing a complaint with the American Bar Association next.

This guy made promises that weren’t kept. Gave timeliness that weren’t realistic and called us names when we checked with him on progress.
