Meet the Business Owner
Leila B.
Business Owner
Leila Burrows, co-founder of The Pad Studios, is a third generation bay area native. After graduating from UCLA, Leila worked for the LA based Viceroy Hotel Group where she managed Guest Relations. In Los Angeles, she began practicing yoga with Bryan Kest at Santa Monica Power yoga. It was there that she found what has become a lifelong passion. While in LA, she was also influenced by Steve Ross, Maha Yoga and Vinnie Marino, Yoga Works Santa Monica. Leila completed her first Yoga Works 200 hour training in March of 2008. Together with business partner, Lily Riesenfeld, Leila returned home to San Francisco to open a boutique studio where she teaches 5 of the 30+ power or vinyasa flow classes offered weekly. Leila continues her yoga education here in San Francisco, by reading, practicing and teaching daily. She enjoys Monday night class with Rusty Wells weekly. Yoga is the most powerful change agent Leila knows and for that reason she is committed to show up to her practice every day.
