Specialties
The Taco Shop at Underdog’s is an award-winning, radical taco party where we boast only the freshest ingredients and finest tequilas available!
Welcome to The Taco Shop at Underdogs — a fusion experiment combining a modern taqueria with sports. Bring a few friends and cheer on your favorite team on our 10 plasma screens any night of the week! But don’t mistake us for your typical sports bar. Starting with the special flair that only Nick Fasanella can bring to the menu, this famed restaurateur has created a modern take on the taqueria while grounded in strong traditions. From the famous Baja Fish Taco to one of our special burritos like the San Francisco Burrito, our kitchen prepares each item with careful attention. Meats are slow cooked and infused with flavor. Produce and fish are purchased fresh each morning to ensure an unsurpassed quality. Even our margaritas are prepared for each customer using agave nectar! Take a look at our extensive list of tequilas, and try one neat, on the rocks, or in one of our fantastic hand-squeezed margaritas.
Our goal is to provide local, sustainable, mouthwatering food in a fun, relaxed atmosphere at The Taco Shop at Underdog’s! Come by soon and trust us when we say that you’ll keep coming back for more!

Business Owner
Doug Marschke, co-owner of The Taco Shop, has been friends with Nick for about 5 years and convinced Nick that he was the right person to fill a niche in the taco-dry neighborhood of the Sunset. He’s also a proud University of Michigan alum. You can catch him working the bar when he’s not traveling the world.
