My wife and I chose to hire Tara for our wedding becuase she seemed easy to work with, artistic and professional. She hit it out of the park. Still enjoy the wonderful images she created for us! Highly recommend.

My husband’s uncle recommended Tara for our wedding two years ago, but we ended up choosing someone else. Well, now our family is growing, and when I wanted to do a maternity photo session, I contacted Tara. She is amazing! She is easy to talk to and her detailed instructions made sure my husband and I looked our best. When I say detailed instructions, I don’t mean she was bossy (she’s far from that!) but she’d give little adjustments to our poses to make sure we looked good. She had creative ideas for poses besides the tried and true, heart hands over the belly, kissing the belly, etc. They turned out great! Best thing is, we got our pictures back right away!!!
She is professional and the quality of her work is top notch. If you’re looking for a great photographer who is easy to work with and won’t take half a year to give you your photos, look no further than TLS Images!!!

Selecting the right photographer for your wedding is paramount. Making the wrong decision might not only result in embarrassment and unattractive holiday cards but my ability to remain married is likely on the line to some degree. Fortunately, I decided to go w/​Tara and thank god I did. Not only was I super excited to see out wedding photos but more importantly my new wife was ecstatic!
On the big day Tara was all over it and completely in control of the situation. Her attention to detail is unheard of. I’m certainly no runway model but she was able to manipulate us into the exact, precise pose and position for every location and lighting condition. I was truly impressed, and by the end of the day felt like I had just been through a modeling training course. Maybe if the day job falls through…
In any case, I couldn’t recommend her more. She not only did our photos the day of, but also took our engagement photos. Tara’s great to work with, extremely professional and a very skilled photographer.

My husband and I got married last week at City Hall and had no idea what to expect. Tara ran the show and it was awesome. We got great pictures and she was such a pleasure to work with. There’s definitely a skill in being able to manage a group of people in a organized and professional manner and Tara nailed it. She was so nice and made us feel really comfortable within minutes of meeting her. Icing on the cake was that I got our pictures back so quickly, all the dust from our ceremony hadn’t had a chance to settle and I was already putting together our album! Thanks again Tara for helping us with our big day.

When I booked Tara to do my headshots, I knew she was a professional, but when we actually did the shoot, she exceeded my wildest expectations. The whole time that Tara was shooting me, all I could think was, «Wow, this woman is such a PRO. She really knows what she is doing.» She knew every single tiny detail, the smallest chin, shoulder, etc movement to get it exactly right, how to play with the light, etc. And what an eye this woman has. She moves with such ease and without hesitation, that it is clear that she has a natural talent and when she sees the perfect shot, she grabs it. When I got my headshots back, I was absolutely blown away by what she had done with perspective, depth of field and color. The images were absolutely beautiful, so artistically shot. Tara is a true talent as a photographer. I would recommend her to anyone, for any photographic needs.

My fiancée and I had our engagement shoot with Tara this past weekend and I can hands down say that working with her was an absolute pleasure. Since the very beginning of our interactions, she was extremely flexible in helping us chose a time/​date and offered great suggestions for locations.
During the actual shoot, her passion for photography was crystal clear. Tara is gifted with an artistic vision — she could pinpoint the best location with the best lighting with the best pose within seconds — all while holding a smile that never faded! I can’t wait to see our proofs in a couple weeks and would HIGHLY recommend Tara to anyone looking for a solid photographer.

Tara shot our wedding over 4^th of July weekend, she was amazing! We opted to take pictures with our wedding party before the ceremony. We took them at Balboa Park and if you’re from SD you know that place gets crowded, more so on holiday weekends. She knew all the great spots! You couldn’t even tell there were so many people there. She was fun, sweet and patient!
She’s like magic woman, I felt like she was in multiple places at one time. She captured sooo many pictures throughout the evening… and it showed when I looked through our photos. The best part is that we received our photos within 2 weeks! That’s impressive!
The photos were zoo nice and beautiful. A lot of great candid and action shots!

Tara was an amazing photographer!!! She photographed my friends Helen and Andrew’s wedding in San Diego!!! I went through all the pictures and they were absolutely beautiful! I live in Pennsylvania and looking through those pictures felt like I was back in San Diego, reliving that beautiful and fun weekend I had with dear friends. I would recommend TLS for any event that you want to truly savor the moment and relive the happiness and joy for years to come!

My husband and I were planning to get married in Fiji and initially we were not thinking of hiring a photographer to come with us… That was until we were referred to Tara.
My husband I met with Tara and we loved her work! We flipped through several albums and after speaking with her we realized that we needed her to photograph our wedding week in Fiji. Tara has a unique style. Yes, you will get the typical posed wedding photos because your mom will be upset if you don’t get one of the families but you will get so much more when you hire Tara. Her photos made me laugh, cry, and experience my wedding in a different light. She pays close attention to details and is always clicking away. She will never intrude on your day. She is able to blend in while you experience those nerve racking moments of walking down the aisle to enjoying the first few moments of married life.
She sent me the proofs and I picked out the ones I wanted in my album. I sent the photos I wanted and this is where her artistic abilities really begin to show. She laid out my album beautifully. It was not the typical one or two pictures per page. She enhanced the colors, used background pictures, and she told the story of my wedding. You will get what you pay for so please do not skimp on your wedding photographer. Tara is worth every penny and more!
