Todd is exceptionally talented. He did my sister’s wedding as well! My now husband and I did a lot of research looking at other possibilities, but I think we both knew that Todd was our best option. He has a great eye for detail and great sense of humor that makes your feel comfortable when he is taking photos. We couldn’t be happier with how our photos turned out!

We couldn’t have asked for a better photographer to both share and capture our wedding. Choosing the right photographer was one of the most important decisions for my wife and I. Our wedding was a small and intimate affair so finding the perfect photographer was important, not only that they would take great photos, but we also wanted to find someone that we’d like to spend our day with. We went through a process of interviewing around 12 different photographers before we found Todd and we knew immediately that he was exactly who we were looking for. He not only takes amazing quality photos, but he was an amazing guy to have around. Todd is a very calm guy which was really great for any pre-​wedding and day of jitters. He is great at capturing the real moments, though he does nice posed photos too, he excels at capturing the natural moments as they happen. My wife and I love looking back at the photos and seeing the small moments that mean the most to us. Todd is a great guy, very professional and his photos are incredible, we couldn’t have asked for a better photographer!

Todd is an absolutely amazing photographer. He recently photographed my wedding and did a beautiful job. My husband and I did an initial engagement shoot, followed by a full day of wedding photography. Todd was wonderful and very fun to work with in both contexts. He made us feel very comfortable in front of the camera, and he had great design sense and took many beautiful photographs. In both the engagement session and wedding, Todd suggested poses and venues /​backdrops and did not need any direction to get us a great variety of beautiful photos. When I was looking for a wedding photographer, I wanted someone who takes beautiful photos. What I didn’t realize until my wedding day is that you will spend a lot of time with your photographer, and so it’s equally important that they’re a good personality fit. Todd is fun and calm, and he was great to be around on my wedding day. He was front and center when you needed him, but he also worked really well behind the scenes. Finally, Todd was very straightforward, easy to reach, prompt, and made it very easy to coordinate my wedding from across the country (I live in NY and planned my wedding on the CA coast). I would definitely work with Todd again and highly, highly recommend him to as a wedding (or really any other type!) of photographer. Todd did an amazing job as our wedding photographer! He remained calm throughout the day, even when I had a moderate «bridezilla» moment when my mom couldn’t figure out how to put on my dress on! He did a great job being in the shadows just taking pictures. I honestly didn’t notice him during the ceremony or reception, unless he had a suggestion for a neat shot. Todd even went above and beyond the call of duty and helped us bring the wedding decorations & supplies to the venue the day before. Todd ROCKS!

Todd was absolutely awesome! He was super relaxed and easy-​going, easy to talk to. He put absolutely everyone at ease, and just floated in and out of our wedding taking amazing pictures. His photos really are first-​class. He and his second photographer stayed almost the entire day (10 hours), and captured wonderful moments between myself and my bride, between guests at the party, and other artistic and beautiful shots around the venue. We only posed for the family photos, but otherwise he was extremely unobtrusive and easy to work with.
Our photos (1000 of them!) arrived six weeks after the wedding, which I consider to be good considering a lot of horror stories I’ve heard. They are so great. We got lucky and nabbed the best photographer in the bay area.

The price was right when I found Todd! When I initially emailed him he was really responsive and answered all my questions! After we sent our check, getting in touch with him was difficult and on several occasions we considered finding a new photographer but didn’t bc we didn’t want to lose out on money. Later we learned that he was expecting a baby with his wife… fantastic news — but it seemed to interfere with his professional obligations on multiple occasions — the regular excuse for him not returning emails was the baby, etc. I might be selfish — but I was a bride PAYING for a service and all I could count on was sparse email communication. We asked several times for suggestions of locations to shoot in the city only to have to come up with our own itinerary. The pictures were great for the most part, but lacked variety, and many were taken from a great distance — when I asked him to zoom in and do some cropping he suggested I do it myself to get te look I wanted… I can appreciate architecture, etc in photos, but on my wedding day I want to see myself in the photos! Maybe after life with a baby settles In for Todd he can commit more time to this job — I think I would have ranked hire if my communication experiences had been better and I wasn’t feeling stressed out weeks before my wedding bc I had an, essentially, absent photographer with $ 500 who was too busy to respond to emails!

He captured every moment of our wedding – Getting ready, ceremony, reception, pictures around the city, and a Chinese tea ceremony. The lighting was perfect, pictures were both posed and candid. Our photos were ready soon after we got back from our honeymoon. The quality was great and we were able to relive the big day.
Todd is extremely talented, and my husband and I are glad that he was able to be a part of our wedding day.

Todd is amazing. He and his partner came early, stayed late, gave thoughtful advice, stepped back during the private moments, went with the flow when the homemade cake was melting, and was all-​around super chill.
He is not only a great guy, but a superb photographer. He caught precious moments, details, and even bridesmaids who made an impromptu jump into the pool at the end of the night. The photographs are amazing. I can’t stop looking at them. Not one was posed — he just melted into the background and let me and my new husband have our first married chat and a few kisses, then let us get to the party.
I never thought I would ever enjoy having my photograph taken. Now I’m hoping to make it a new family tradition.

We had Todd Parsons as our photographer for engagement and wedding photos. He was the best! As creative type people ourselves, we are highly particular in what we want but also have an infinite amount of respect for other’s creative processes. For the engagement photos, we outlined a few casual settings (Alemany Farmers Market, Bernal Hill and the Mission) and Todd captured the essence of our lives beautifully — urban dwellers who love cooking, books and the topography of San Francisco. Our wedding, held in Stern Grove, provided an incredible counterpoint to the city. The lush grove of rustic redwoods creates an atmosphere could easily be too ephemeral to convey in photos, but Todd’s photos reveal every ray of light and every detail that came together to make that day.
In choosing a photographer, we were looking for someone whose work was casual, well framed and captured the details of a place. He did an amazing job at all of those things. We also greatly enjoyed the time that we spent with him, making our experience fun and memorable. I must give a special thank you to him for assisting my futile efforts to learn to tie a bow tie the day of the event. Brilliant me, I thought that by printing out an Ikea-​like set of diagrammatic instructions I could easily navigate the folds and knots of the bow tie. Todd was great in his assistance, even finding YouTube videos, but the show had to go on.
Todd also does a lot of work in post-​production, taking great photos and adjusting the subtleties of light and shadow to make them perfect. The time taken to carefully select and edit add value to his great skill and we appreciated how easy it was to share the photos with everyone. We could not be happier with our selection of Todd as our photographer.

I can’t say enough about Todd — he’s amazing and extremely talented. He was by far the best wedding investment that my husband and I could’ve put into our big day. We asked him for no cheesy, kissing, «super-​posed» photos. We also asked him to try to get candid shots throughout the day… He blew us away with the photos he produced. The quality, lighting, and candid moments he was able to capture still have us feeling like we can relive our ceremony and reception all over again by looking at the pics. We met with over a handful of photographers before making a final decision — and I am absolutely positive that we made the right choice. He was extremely responsive (the most responsive out of all my vendors), reliable (always on time for every one of our meetings), personable, and made us feel extremely comfortable. He even agreed to do a «Save the Date» session with our dogs — and THEY even loved him as well. He’s somebody that I hope to keep in touch with so that we can potentially use him for other important life moments.
Photos are not something you want to mess with when it comes to your wedding day. I just know that you cannot go wrong with Todd!!!

Todd is an awesome wedding photographer. I love the pictures that he shot, as well as his low key demeanor, creative license, great humor and professionalism. He was very easy and enjoyable to work with. He captured all aspects of our wedding ceremony, including a partial aerial (he ran up the hill during the ceremony), close ups, natural settings, humorous moments and pure glee/​radiance of people without being obtrusive. He played beautifully with natural light and settings without detracting from, but rather greatly enhancing, the subject (s). He produced an array of both color and black and white photographs for our viewing pleasure.
Although the area was large, Todd successfully captured all of the simultaneous events (groom getting ready, guests relaxing, children playing, bride getting ready, toasts, dancing, etc. etc.) His pictures are stunning and something that I will happily look back on my entire life and relive the weekend. What more could you ask for? In addition, he shares his work without avarice — his price is fair and then he gives you the pictures. This fairness is reflected in his unpretentious personality. He’s fun!
Our wedding lasted three days and was outside in a beautiful area near Upper Lake, CA. We wanted a photographer who would capture the natural beauty, as well as all of the events leading up to and after our ceremony. We had 150 people and 25 children, a variety show and fire spinning at night. Todd captured all of these requirements that we had with his lens in the most positive way possible. He didn’t take charge, he co-​created.
My husband, myself, family and guests are still swooning over the romance and beauty that he was able to capture. I highly, highly, highly recommend him for whatever event you’re having. He’s a true talent.

Todd Parsons took engagement pictures for my fiancé and I a couple of months ago. They were AMAZING. The day had turned out to be rainy and cloudy but Todd really made the best of it and because of that the pictures turned out even better than I had hoped. Todd was funny and made both of us feel comfortable! We had purchased a deal off a wedding website for an hour and 50 shots. He was just awesome, we spent longer than the hour and he gave me every single picture he took. I’ve hired other professional photographers and they charge an arm and a leg and stamp their logo all over everything so you can’t buy anything unless you spend $ 100 for a 4. x 6 photo! It made me really feel like he just wanted us to be happy then to make another buck. And because of everything that happened we are so grateful to have met him!
I highly recommend Todd for his professionalism, his fantastic pictures, and his whole personality.

Todd recently photographed our wedding, we cannot say enough great things about him! We picked Todd because of his great personality and his beautiful portfolio of wedding pictures. He was so easy to work with and flexible, he made us feel very comfortable in front of the camera. Todd is so easy-​going, even when we made him jump in the limo with us, to head over to the site we picked out to take pictures. Todd worked with all day with us, it was a very long day and he was so patient with us.
