I live in Marin, and the only boba place there is that’s close to me is quickly. I drive across the Golden Gate Bridge almost 4 times a week to get TPumps because it is seriously the best boba I’ve ever had. The endless combinations you can choose from are amazing and the honey boba is seriously to die for. I love TPumps

I remember when Tpumps was all the way in San Mateo, and we had to wait over half an hour for it. I can’t believe we did that! Anyways… Tpumps is my go to boba place. My all time favorite mix is the mango peach green milk tea, normal sweetness, with light boba. I love how they give you to option of mixing whatever you want, to chose the amount of sweetness, etc. It’s basically as if you’re making your own drink, but they do it, and make sure it’s good! P. s. They also opened up locations in SoCal!

Classic boba spot. Lots of options to choose from, they have their specialty teas in the line if you wanna try it while you wait and great taro tea. I’ve read a lot of reviews saying how sweet everything is, so I ordered my taro tea with no sweetening. It was just right. Main difference here from Wonderful down the street is that this is a tea and Wonderful is thicker more like a smoothie.

Classic go-to boba place. When it first opened up, they were always busy! It was a long line with every visit. Eventually, it died down, but their boba didn’t. Quality is always on point, and you can modify your drinks pretty flexibly. The menu is flexible too! So many flavors to choose from, plus you can mix and match, so the options are endless. Boba is delicious and they have pretty fast service. And their drinks are inexpensive. Solid boba spot.

Service is very awkward. The music was louder than the cashier. Unless you know what you like, it’s very hard to order. The three flavors I chose were: mango, peach, and«litchi». For the regular, it’s $ 3.80 for the smoothie. The price is alright for the size, but the flavor isn’t there. My smoothie was very bland and more milky/icy.

Not sure what the hype is about this place. It was pretty busy though. The menu is fairly large for choices if you like variety. But some of the flavors didn’t sound appealing like cinnamon and peppermint. I had the honeydew smoothie with green tea and boba(50% sugar). While the boba was good, the drink was not. It was rather tasteless probably because there wasn’t enough sugar but think even Tapex sno bubbles are better. I’m not much of a milk tea fan so maybe I just got the wrong thing. Service is aright and what you expect from your normal boba spot. The huge 32 oz drinks are too big. Don’t know how people can drink all that.

It’s okey dokey? Really do not understand what all the hype is about. Tpumps is known for it’s fruity drinks but it is basically milk tea with torani flavoring syrup in it lol. Nothing too special in my book. The drinks are too sweet for my taste even when I ask for«less sweet.» My friends keep going back here although they too agree that it’s nothing too fantastic. Do people come here for the tea or to take pics for social media? Who knows.

I’m a huge fan of T pumps. We got here before closing so there was no line. I had only been to T pumps in San Mateo and Cupertino, and now this one. I liked this location. Great staff, good space, samples available… what’s not to like? Everything is always good, I usually get overwhelmed with the variety so I just pick one of the customer faves: Passion fruit tangerine guava green tea– basically POG– + lychee popping boba. Blackberry peach black tea with milk So many choices, so much goodness.

One of the draws to my new place in the Sunset was«prime Tpumps location!» which led me to believe that this would be a quality place. I’ll admit I was intrigued with their pretty menu and list of favourite drinks, but when I looked behind the counter I was disappointed to see that the flavours were just a plethora of sugar syrups that come from those barista pump things. I know, I know. bubble tea isn’t exactly the most authentic/healthy tea experience you could have, but I was expecting a little more. On the plus side, no complaints about the service. I ordered a simple peach green tea with boba and with less sugar, but I may as well have just ordered a glass of sugar water to go. I really wasn’t impressed with what I had, but it seems to be all the rage with the teens in the neighbourhood. I wish I could relive the days where it was thrilling to cut class and feel proud that I could actually dish out $ 3.50 for a drink. Then my friends and I would group all our drinks together(of course our straw colours would be carefully coordinated) for a picture we could post on whatever social media site with the hashtag #bobawithbesties or some garbage like that. Then maybe Josh from math class would notice the picture and we could have a «will-they-won’t-they» romance that we could relive through our happy years together. But I’m not 13. And I don’t so much care for this place.

I don’t know why people are lining up and waiting up to 20 – 30 minutes for iTea down the street when T Pumps is soooo much better. You’d get your drink after 5 minutes at most even when it’s busy. The drinks are super cheap too! T Pumps has tons of flavors, they allow you to choose up to three flavors per drink without charge. Their toppings include honey boba, popping boba, red bean, and taro. My usual drink is the Lychee green milk tea with honey boba, normal sweetness. It’s bomb! It’s not too syrupy and they use real tea. The boba is perfectly soft but chewy at the same time. They recently added a little sample station so you can try one of their drinks while you wait in line. No other place does that! Great job T Pumps, you are my favorite :)

The Tpumps hype has really died down in recent times but I’m still a fan! From my samplings of different boba shops around the bay, I still hold that Tpumps has the best tapioca balls: Perfect in levels of QQ(chewiness) — PS the chewiness is super soft all the way throughout the ball. Center is not firmer, as it usually is at Quicklys. Some people don’t like this, so take this note into consideration), also pearls have generally consistently good flavor. There is nothing that pisses me off more than flavorless tapioca balls because then you’re really just ingesting all those carbs/sugars/whatever is POINTLESS. You can definitely taste the fact that they cook these with proper amounts of honey and brown sugar. Tpumps makes the indulgence a bit more worth instead of guilt ridden. What I don’t like is the fact that they flavor their tea with syrups(but what else can you expect from the name?) and their tea quality is only so so.(For quality teas I prefer T4). Flavor combinations can be fun but I just don’t like the syrup concept so I normally stick to the basics like green milk tea or honey black milk tea. Parking sucks — but thats usual for this neighborhood. Service is always pretty quick, even when they have a fat line. For that reason alone, I prefer coming here over i-tea down the block(I will probably die before getting my tea).

My second visit here and I can honestly say that this is one of the best boba places I’ve tried in the Bay Area. I got the mango black tea with their honey boba and mango popping jelly. The larger size. First of all, their honey boba is so fantastic. One thing I noticed though, is that they don’t add a lot of it to the drink. Kind of a bummer since you pay extra for it. The mango tea was so light, I loved it. I finished my drink way too quickly. Customer service was great. I didn’t mind it, but we did have to wait a little longer because there was a big order placed in front of ours. The girl at the register apologized for the wait and was super friendly, which made it better! I’d definitely come back forsure, I’d like to try their milk teas soon!

The drinks here are just meh. I got the black milk tea with chocolate and coconut(hot) and it was too sweet even though I asked for less sweet. I think it’s because their boba was soaked in sugar or honey beforehand so it adds more sweetness into the drink. So, less sweet becomes regular sweet and their regular sweet becomes REALLYREALLY sweet. I almost got a toothache when I tried my friend’s regular sweet lychee black milk tea. So tip: beware of sweetness level and get one step below what you usually get at other places!

#36 Oh man. Last time I was here was 3 years ago. Tpumps in San Mateo used to be my go-to boba place before they closed down. The peach mango milk tea tasted the same as it did back then. The tea is strong and present, the syrups dont have some weird aftertaste to it, and the boba is soft and sweet. This is probably one of my favorite boba places. If only it were close to home, I’d probably be here all the time like before. They have a fridge with a variety of drinks for $ 2. They even have a watermelon flavor now! If you dont like your drink, just let them know and they’ll gladly remake a new one for you. The only complaint I have is that the drink wasnt filled up all the way.

Tpumps is a solid spot for boba if you ask me. There are a BUNCH of different flavors to choose from and that might be an understatement. There’s a spacious lobby area which is nice(don’t feel crammed) but I think there should be more tables/chairs for people to lounge around. There are only benches along the sides. I got the taro, strawberry black tea with milk and honey boba. At first, it seems a little daunting because you’re mixing so many different flavors together but it was pretty good! You can taste all of the different flavors blend well together and the boba was nice and chewy. You definitely get a little skeptical combining so many different flavors but you shouldn’t worry because if you don’t like the drink, they will make you a new one… no questions asked! This is a great policy! I definitely appreciate how Tpumps prioritizes customer satisfaction and I look forward to coming back!

Even though my heart will always belong to the OG mailing room/T Pumps in San mateo(now closed), this Tpumps still does the job and I love their assortment of flavors. The best flavors are usually peach, strawberry, mango, passion, and honey. If you want to be a little adventurous, go with the Lychee, Taro, Honeydew, or Pomegranate. Even though they are called T pumps, they also serve more than just tea options. I have had their smoothies and they aren’t bad at all! I also forget that they can serve any of their teas hot!!! If you want to avoid the long lines — never go after dinner or around 3 — because it is super crowded with high school/grade school kids. Yea, the line is sometimes really long, but you know it’s still good all these years when the line hasn’t died down! I would also suggest racking up those t pump points because the 100+ point prizes look awesome!!!

Sadly this place went downhill from the first time I visited two years ago. I always order a combination of mango, peach, and passion with either milk or no milk and black tea with boba. In the beginning I never had to ask the baristas to remake my drinks. But lately the drink either had too much/little of certain flavors. On top of that the Boba had no honey Taste. This one time I told the barista to add more sugar and he had to ask a coworker in the back. I recognized the coworker as someone who’s been there for over a year. I guess quality depends on experience. Overall if you’re feeling adventurous and want to mix sugary drinks, tpumps is the place to go.

My new favorite boba shop, just wished they had one in Southern California closer to me. The staff here is really friendly, and they have a huge selection of drinks to choose from. They let you sample some drinks when you first walk in, which i thought was really cool. I ordered the passion fruit, honey, strawberry milk tea with honey boba and really liked it. Their high level of drink customization for a really affordable price is one reason why i like this place so much. It costs $ 3.50 for a regular size drink(which is most other boba stores large size), and you get to mix three different flavors as well. Definitely recommend trying this boba spot out if you are in San Francisco. If you are a first timer like me visiting the shop, recommend asking the employees for recommendations, as there is a wide variety of flavors to choose from and you might choose something you regret!

Pump p p PUMPITUP! T-Pump it up that is. First off, T-Pump is one thing that doesn’t low up on a Wednesday at 9:00pm so there was no line. MYFAVEEEEEEEEEE. I was prepared to order a Mango Green Tea with little sugar and honey boba. The cashier politely asked if that’s all I wanted with a little playful judgement because well. My order was boring to the likes of him. I asked if he suggested anything else and he said I should add Blackberry and Lychee if I like either of those flavors. I pulled the trigger and ordered the suggested Mango-Blackberry-Lychee Green Tea and it was da bomb diggity. A little too sweet on my part but definitely not too much sweet. A+ service and recommendation. Parking was pretty easy to find at that time of hour but it can get crazy. I suggest taking the N line if you’re about that life. I’ve been to this T-Pump location probably 3 or 4 times but this was the first time I’ve been compelled enough to write a review /get back on my Unilocal game. Good work, T-Pump. I’ll comeback to get me another recommendation and some more awesome service.

I only go to T-Pumps because it’s convenient, their drinks aren’t really that great here. How? It literally tastes like sugar water. Nothing here is natural and everything is just a pump of syrup here and a pump of syrup there. They also don’t even give you enough boba. I would say that they only fill about 1⁄8 of your cup. Why are they stingy? Also, every time I come here, they only have ONE register open even when you clearly see a long line… This place is also empty. There are no tables and they only have two bench on the side which seats like 3 people each. There are definitely better bubble tea shops out there. I don’t recommend going here at all.
