Description

Specialties

We offer vibrant, differentiated music and movement classes for kids — birth through elementary — that create a pathway to music literacy, encourage holistic development of the whole child and greatly enhance your child’s natural music ability (all children are musical) as his/her aural ear is developed and creativity is stimulated.

History

Established in 2012.

True Harmony Music was created to fulfill a need long-time musicians and music educators noticed was missing in the San Francisco area. Namely, a program in which a child’s musicality flourishes, development is stimulated and a pathway to music literacy is created. In the Fall of 2013 we added Group Keyboard classes where kids begin to play the songs they’ve grown to love, reading music they’ve been learning how to do in previous classes, improvising and even composing! All this happens in an environment where students encourage and motivate each other under the tutelage of their skilled instructor.

True Harmony Music has chosen the world-renowned Musikgarten curriculum as it combines the best in early childhood music education with the neuroscience of how children learn best — through play and movement. Classes are sequential, meaning the earlier your child gets involved the greater the benefits!
