I really like this place. Very good food . Reasonable price. Informal quasi self service. I had been here about 10 times and have enjoyed it each time . Good pizza fast service and good price.

Horrible! Wanted to go to Montesacro Pinseria-Enoteca across the street, but it was closed so figured will grab a bite before a show at the Warfield. What a mistake. Ordered 2 slices of pizza and a eggplant parm sandwich for the gf and I. We stayed inside and waited. During this time multiple homeless guys came in digging through the trash and bothering everyone in the tiny dining area for money. Workers did nothing to move them along. These cooks are so slow. Asked several times where our food was, and got mumbled responses that it was in the oven. Never an apology for the wait or an ETA when it would be ready. Pizza took about 30 min. Was ok at best. One of the slices had so much garlic on it we could smell it on our breath the rest of the night. Finished eating both slices and still no sandwich. I asked again and was told it was almost done. Was about 5 min later when we finally got the sandwich. It had been 45 min since we ordered! Was hoping it would be worth the wait, but it was the worst I’ve ever had. Was so dry and gross, only took a few bites before throwing the rest away. Avoid at all costs!

The employee was very nice and quick, however the pizza was way too greasy for me. So if you like your pizza greasy then this place is for you. Would give it two stars in my opinion but everyone likes their pizza differently. Plus the size of the slice and price very acceptable. 3.50 for a pepperoni slice the size of your face.

I found this place purely by accident and I’m glad that I did. I have always been a fan of «mom & pop» shops for many things and pizza Is one of them. This is one of those nice finds that makes you feel good about your food. And I’ll say this, any pizza place where you can order a plain Cheese pizza and feel you still got a great pie is «A+» in my book. They have some good deals if you get coupons. I’ve been ordering a pie from them at least once a month for the past year or so, and it is the highlight of my month. They do a good cheesy garlic bread and some of there other dishes are pretty nice as well. But to me it is all about their pizza. If you want a good pizza at a good price for yourself, a party, or whatever and you’re in/near the downtown San Francisco area… check them out!!!

Dinner delivery to hotel. While delivery took just over 1hr, I must admit the food exceeded our expectation. Pizza was great as was the Cheese Calzone(I added mushrooms, anchovies, bell peppers, and spinach). Caesar Salad also a hit. The Pizza and Calzone tasted fresh, arrived hot, and were not greasy. We order small portions outside of the salad which was large. I would order from here again albeit synchronize my watch with theirs to ensure our 45 minutes delivery times align :)

probably the best in the tl, they deliver anywhere in the tl which is great. They have plenty of coupons. They have plenty desserts and plenty of soda. Hot wings, garlic bread, pasta, salads, burgers, sandwiches, calzones, and everything is soo good. Everything is hot hot hot! They’re pretty much open 24/7, all hours.

Let me tell you first, I made a Unilocal account to make sure I could review this place. Their lack of respect for a customer’s time, money and energy is appalling, lack of professionalism is unreal, and food was subpar and ice cold by the time I received it. I ordered my food by 10:20pm, and was told I would receive it by 11:00(which made sense since it was likely frozen chicken nuggets, a salad, and a can of soda), and my food arrived at 12:04am. I called the restaurant 3 times as I was waiting, getting increasingly frustrated when I was told 5 more minutes each time I called. I waited a good 15 minutes before I would call again to give the driver the benefit of the doubt but they failed to deliver in a prompt manner, with my patience and food being the ones that suffered. The man I spoke to on the phone blamed the driver, the driver blamed the guy at the restaurant and tries to tell me a 10 minute story when he arrives when all I want was my damn food and to go upstairs. He could tell I looked angry and was laughing and smiling in the most snide way and said so childishly, «are you mad?» No shit Sherlock. After being angry about the long wait and cold food, i spoke with grubhub and they called the restaurant on my behalf, and the boss told them they don’t DO refunds.(Btw this isn’t GH’s fault, they provided some great customer service) I called the place after on my own and I was hung up on FOUR times. They were completely disrespectful to me and my experience, had zero respect for my time, and the boss can be overheard on the phone telling his employees to emulate his dick behavior to customer. If you want crappy food, delivered with zero urgency, with a side of the worst customer service you will ever receive from a food place ever, then by all means, get your food from here. You’ll be waiting a long time.

Delivery right on time, very friendly delivery guy, food pretty decent(actually some of the best chicken tenders I’ve ever had! Very crispy and delicious!). Just a heads up Veracios: «toasted raviolis» is kind of a misnomer. Its not just uncooked stuffed pasta thrown in an oven(which seems to be what I got), they’re normally breaded and deep fried. And the marinara is mostly oil. Had to pull some of my own out of the fridge. Other than that everything was pretty great!

I don’t know why this place has such bad reviews, this is the first pizza place I’ve found since I’ve lived in SF that actually tastes close to east coast pizza. Most of the shitty pizza places around here taste like shit, take forever to deliver and are way the fuck over priced. This place is a good deal, the pizza is decent, the sauce is good, and the delivery guys will ring the bell and come up to your door instead of calling you and having you come down to the door while they sit in the car listening to shitty music and talking on their cell phone.

Oh god. Oh god. OH. GOD. I just got delivery from here, because some menus with coupons were left on the front step railing. Got a large pizza with sausage, ricotta cheese and basil and a ½ order of garlic bread. Got it fast, like probably half an hour or so, awesome job delivery guy! Opened the box… it looks like a pizza you’d buy from the bakery of Safeway. It’s got those Red Baron sausage rounded-cube-things. Basil was put on the pizza before cooking, not put on it fresh so it’s wilted and has no flavor. Had to squint to see any ricotta; these weren’t big delicious goopy dollops of ricotta, they were tiny white dots. Garlic bread should just be called«bread», I taste no garlic whatsoever. I ate some of the pizza. It sucks, but hey, I can deal with sucky pizza. But halfway through slice #2 I spat out an entire mouthful of pizza upon realizing that I was tasting something along the lines of the aroma of dirty mildewing socks or a carton of milk that went past its expiration date about a week ago. I am too scared to even attempt eating another piece. I may already have food poisoning. Just called and asked for a regular pepperoni, hoping there’s no possible way they could somehow fuck that up too. My stomach is cramping up and I feel like I might die. Help. EDIT: Pepperoni pizza tastes like Chuck E Cheese’s or the pizza you get in a minigolf/arcade food court. In other words, a vast improvement.

Don’t order from this place if you’re hungry. If you do, be prepared to starve. Their promised delivery time is 45 – 60 minutes, it took much longer for them to deliver one 12 inch pizza to me. I called the restaurant twice and they gave conflicting information as to if/when the driver left. Not trustworthy and I don’t believe food is good enough to justify the delay. Avoid.
