This location has been sited and shut down on many occasions for Human Trafficking. Despite the fact many of our neighbors have never seen any women enter or leave this establishment in the last 5 years only serves to prove that the SFPD is more than content to put the responsibility of shutting down this site of illegal sex trade and human trafficking with citizens of our city. Rather than take matters into their own legal hands it is simply ignored. I have been a neighbor to this location for years and am constantly reminded by the lack of inaction by our law enforcement that human trafficking is a lucrative business both for the owners of Villa Aroma and for the SFPD, as there is a constant flow of men(yet no women) coming in and out of this particular location in full view of a major vein(hyde street) of the city without police interaction. In 5 years I have never seen any person other than a working class male enter or leave the«side door» which is the only location by which you may enter this establishment. The SFPD seem to have no vested interest in pursuing action on this particular location, yet there is consistent proof that there are persons held in this location against their will, forced to satisfy the grotesque needs of the male masses. I ask that the law enforcement(for which we pay our taxes) to serve the purpose that they are employed and put an end to this.

This place is not for relaxing it’s for giving away you’re money and for shore not a massage that is over 10 minutes or a happy ending over 10 minutes after paying $ 240 .00

This location has been raided and shut down before for human trafficking and sex slavery on more than one occasion. They of course re-open under a new business name only to again have their business permit revoked for illegal activity. There is nothing classy about what goes on in and around this place. I personally see the slovenly men who skulk in and out of the side entrance(since there doesn’t seem to be access or even visibility into the spa through the front) and there is nothing mysterious or intruiging about it. If you value that type of «ambiance» it’s time to check your values. Men are going in to pay money to use a human being that may or may not be there against their will. Don’t glorify it. It’s awful.

This place is pretty cool. Spa or massage. Expensive for sure. you just need to ring the bell. So hard to find parking for sure.

I give this place four stars because of what it brings to the neighborhood. There is a certain je-né-sais-quoi, a special sort of class, that imbues a neighborhood when it is sporting its very own windowless massage parlor with neon lights and a locked gate even during business hours(ring bell for admittance – I guess they don’t take walk-ins). The«carvings» on the wall seem to be intended to be reminiscent of something Roman. Related: while walking past today, I saw they had put up a notice of request for a permit to become a public bath house. So the Roman bathhouse-cum-orgyhouse might be what they’re after. I want nothing more than to sit in a café nearby with a window facing this place and watch to see what kinds of characters go in and out during the late hours(open till midnight!). I love this place because it is lurid and mysterious and trashy and intriguing. I value the ambiance that it brings to my neighborhood.
