As print brokers our capabilities are quite a bit broader than an average printer because we are not limited to any one type of production tied to one type of press. We want our clients to come back to us for repeat business. We price every job competitively while offering superior customer service. The clients who rely on us again and again have come to think of us as a silent partner or a right hand to their marketing department. Our printed products range from standard business collateral — business cards, letterhead, envelopes, etc. — to magazines, books, catalogs, brochures, posters, signs, banners, and trade show graphics. History

Established in 2003.

Visual Media Solutions has been specializing in the production of all types of visual communications since 2003. After several incarnations of print, copy and graphics businesses (under different business names) we established ourselves as full time print brokers.

Since 1989 we’d been working our print magic downtown and established a lot of great connections and working relationships with other vendors along the way. Brokering seemed like a natural for us. As print brokers we essentially buy our printing wholesale and sell to our clients. We’ve established new relationships since our inception and have built our network of vendors to include trade printers from all over SF, throughout California and many national vendors as well.

Business Owner

Greetings Yelpers! I’m John, the owner of Visual Media Solutions. I have been working in the printing industry since 1989 and have helped a lot of businesses, large and small, with their printing and graphics needs. Back in the day, I co-​founded a financial district copy and graphics business — The California Copy Co. In 1996 I moved on to start a new print and copy business — Orbit Print & Copy. Orbit was sold in 2001 and, after a brief period of time spent helping Orbit’s purchasers with the business transition, I founded Visual Media Solutions.

VMS is a natural outgrowth of these previous business experiences with many of the same vendor relationships still actively a part of my network. I have been working with some of the same vendors — and customers — for nearly 20 years. That’s something of a testament to how I prefer to do business. I want my clients to be happy with the product, service and experience of doing business with VMS so that they’ll come back when the need arises.
