What a unique and special healing space! They offer water massages at a great 2 for 1 deal if you get the pier 39 free coupon book(upstairs at California welcome center, where they have a super cool was figure of beyonce). They have an oxygen bar with the same deal. As soon as we walked in the customer service was wonderful! They demoed a hand massager on uus, an herb warming pack, an electric. pocket massager and a head massager! They are very welcoming and full of bargains! The location is a bit odd for a spa, most people come to the pier to have fun and be over stimulated… this place is all about relaxation therapy. I love the concept, love the place, make sure to stop by next time in pier 39!

It was cool to try it for the first time. $ 20 for 10 minutes of oxygen is really over priced. The oxygen machines and bar area seem really unclean. The colored stuff that bubbles in the machines that you are breathing in have particles floating around in it, some black stuff on the bottles. The seating and counter top look like they never get wiped down or sanitized. And the music is juat the radio playing. For an oxygen bar they should play more relaxing music. The whole place reminded me of a really big mall kiosk that just wants to sell stuff to you. The employee never even explained anything about the oxygen, just gave us the breathing tubes, put it on, and left.

Great place to check out if you’re in the area! You don’t have to wait long at all because the staff is pretty good at moving traffic. The water massage is cool to try. Prices are reasonable.

Sweet staff. A great place to go when you’re exhausted and need a pick-me-up. For $ 46, you can get 20 minutes of oxygen and a 20 minute water massage. I hadn’t had either, so it was an experience. While getting oxygen, I also got a brief back massage, a nice heat pack on my shoulders and also on my lower back. The water massage was just okay. It wasn’t very relaxing, but it sure did feel good to be able to hold it on the spots that were a bit more tense than others. I was asked if I wanted to buy anything, but he wasn’t pushy at all.

Loved it! We did the oxygen and massage. Oxygen was awesome. One ir two of mine didn’t seem to work, but the other 2 were awesome. We. Have a coupon buy one get one free, and went durong happy hour, so only cost 20 bucks! The guy who helped us was super friendly, and very helpful. He even took a picture for us, and we didn’t even have to ask. Love that place!

So damn rude! The lady kicked us out after we dropped almost $ 100 just the day before! Most of the stuff they sell is super overpriced and you can get it for less than $ 10 at Chinatown. Don’t waste your time these people are whack af

Super friendly staff. We were greeted with a lavender neck heat that overheated my neck and made me sweat. They hoisted me into this water cocoon: a plastic blanket that separates you from different pressure levels of water jet streams that massage you all over your body. If I you ever want to know what your car feels like going through a car wash, this is the place. Made me wonder who did the QA to decide to leave the head out of the tube and if the thing that separated your body from the water ever busted and soaked the person messing up their day. Other than those random thoughts during my ten minute $ 20 massage, the high pressure was comfy. Buy four and you get one free. If you’re not interested in getting one of these water massages, don’t bother coming in to ‘browse around’ or they will sell it to you. My sister went in for ‘one for her’ and next thing you know, me, my dad, her son and her daughter were in this water contraption. Not saying we didn’t enjoy it and we are strong enough to say ‘No’ to pushy sales people, but for those who aren’t, best better stay on the outside of the glass doors.

I thought this place was awesome! I was greeted by a gentleman who put a hot pack around my neck and told me about the place. My body was sore from walking up the hills all day in San Francisco so I opted for the water massage. I did 20 minutes and it was heaven! I wish I could have done it longer but I had to meet my friends. The salesman was not pushy at all. I wish I could find a store like this in Chicago!

These guys are definitely AFTERYOURMONEYONLY!!! BECAUTIOUS! All they do ALLDAY is prey on tourist who are just trying to have a good time and enjoy their vacation. The owner is a FATOGRE who yells at the poor employees if they dont sell! so thats why theyre always trying to sell and rubbin strangers with weird shit. They must be way frustrated and nervous to make sells before the OGRE yells at them. A little stretching and YOGA goes a long way people. this place is a trap. watch it.

Tourist trap, but not even worth it even for a tourist. The«massager» they use just shocks your muscles with electricity, causing them to convulse. not relaxing at all. Pretty much the whole time you are there they are trying to sell you products by using them on you. If you are reading this and you still want to go in, try and haggle the price. that was the only way we decided to kill time there… but all it is, is them trying to sell you product the center booths in the mall offer…

My friend and I were looking in the window at this business and the sales guy there told us to come in and relax. It was really cold outside. He put warm, herbal packs around our necks and shoulders and had my friend try this electronic impulse massager. He tried the magnetic wire thing on my head which was way too intense and was like having a head orgasm. He tried various attachments while my friend played with the other massager that had a controller that looked like an i-pod. There was no pressure and he answered all of our questions. They had a help wanted sign and I considered applying. It was a very relaxing environment and I enjoyed the place. I am considering buying some of the herbal packs for myself and gifts.

Why so many bad attitude reviews? My wife and I really enjoyed this place! The hydrotherapy massage was amazing($ 25 for 15 min) and then also included a free try at the oxygen bar(glad it was free, because I wouldnt have tried it otherwise). The water massage left me feeling super relaxed. Wish I had one at home! While you relax at the oxygen bar the staff tries all sorts of massage gadgets on your neck and back — it was great! Yes, obviously they do this because they want a sale. But I never felt pressured. A rare gem on tourist haven Pier 39!

The experience here was so bad, that after about a month, i still thought about giving it a bad review on Unilocal.Hence, this is why i am here now writing it finally. So i paid $ 20, for flavored oxygen. Here are the bad experiences: 1) they pre-choose the flavors and you are not allowed to change from the given four flavors 2) the workers don’t do any sort of massage beyond that weird hair thing they do for about 10 seconds 3) if you ask me, the workers there aren’t very nice; you could tell it’s all about the money and not for ratings; i’m sure they feed on one-time visits from unsuspecting foreigners Anyway, it was a waste of $ 20 and i advise going somewhere else for a good and proper experience!

This place is a bait and switch rip off. I went there with 3 teens and we were lied to by the salesperson the minute we walked in the door. The kids had been there before and paid $ 10 for 10 minutes in the massage beds. We returned to do that again. The salesperson told us that since it was slow(no one was in the store) we could use the massage beds for 25% off, and that she wouldn’t limit the time, we could be in there as long as we wanted. The kids were thrilled at getting a longer turn. Little did I know that the massage beds are only a come on, they use them to try to lure you into buying other items, basically overpriced vibrators masking themselves as expensive(and horribly overpriced) massagers. Not only did she turn off each bed after 10 minutes, she charged us more than we had paid last time. When I got upset about this and requested the discount I was promised, she replied, well, if you buy this $ 175 massager, I won’t even charge you for the massage beds. When I declined, I was offered many other items, and if I bought any of them she’d take off the price of the massages. Since I didn’t buy anything else, I had to pay for the massages, and never got the price I was promised. To save myself an argument, I paid in full, but it was a bad move on their part. They got $ 12 more than they should have, but it cost them much more as I will never be back, and I will tell everyone I know to avoid this place like the plague. This was the opposite of what a massage experience should give you – stress, aggravation and the sick feeling of being ripped off.

OMG. Well, my roommate and I wanted to check this place out, and when we got there, unfortunately, all the water massage beds except for one were taken, so I let my roommate go first… Well that was probably the best decision ever. While he was laying in the water massage bed, one of the girls, said go ahead and have a seat and I’ll massage your back. I was thinking oh ok… she placed two rice heating pads on me, one around my neck, and one around my waist. As I sat there and soaked in the warmth, I could feel my muscles relaxing. She then asked where my back hurt, I told her the top and she placed two electrode pads on my back and gave me a little remote, which looked like a small ipod. Well, she turned it on, and it began ti pulsate and I could feel it going to work. She then handed me a nose guard, and I got to experience the oxygen bar. I fell in love at this point. I wasn’t expecting anything else, until my turn in the massage bed, but as I sat there and relaxed with the great scents from the oxygen bar, she began to massage my back and my head. I was a puddle. Soon enough, it was my turn in the water massage. I was a little nervous, as i am slightly(ok, a lot) claustrophobic. I was able to sit up a lil farther, and once the machine began, I was a puddle again. This was one of the best experiences, and I will be back for more.

I purchased two electronic massaging units today. The sales rep Jabriel was cordial, courteous and kind. I injured my left forearm in the Gym over two months ago and the short time I have used this electro-stimulation on it has worked wonders. The full body water massages my wife and I took were wonderful. I will update this when I have used the muscle stimulation devices we purchased a while longer.

worst 40 bucks i ever spent. The snake oil salesmen kept pestering me to buy his stupid massager and I told him I didn’t want it. didn’t feel anything off the oxygen bar thing either. interesting experience but will definitely never be back.
