I would give zero stars if I could. Treated my wife and daughter so rudely. We went to the store to buy jade bracelet. My wife saw a few she liked but she has very small wrists. My daughter asked lots of questions and the owner /clerk seemed to be very helpful at first. When my wife said they didn’t fit her correctly, I suggested that she look in the other display he had. For some reason he decided that he wasn’t going to help anymore and sat down and crossed his arms. jerk! He missed out on a sure sale for my daughter and a likely sale with my wife.

Rude. We wanted to buy jade bracelets and merchant made a few suggestions. When I asked to see others he told us to leave. He said you do not want to buy one. Very insulting.

I got a new dress. I wanted some pearl-looking type jewelry to go with the dress. I walked up to Chinatown during my lunch hour. The first store I went into had your typical Grant-Avenue-jewelry-store-whatnot. The guy didn’t come out from behind the counter. Just shouted prices at me as I stared at things on the other side of the shop. Then I walked into Vy’s Jewelry. Betty is the store manager and she was VERY helpful. Do I believe that the necklace I bought is made of real pearls? No. Do I believe that I’m getting such a deal as it cost $ 14 and was priced as $ 99? Doubtful. But Betty was cheery and helpful and had me try on different lengths and sizes of necklaces and bracelets until I found the right match. Totally above and beyond for the $ 22 I spent and I would definitely go back to this specific shop for all my Chinatown jewelry needs.
