Business Owner
Michael Kaplanidis, CPA, has over twenty years of experience in full service tax preparation, specializing in US expat tax and complex returns. With experience in PwC and Arthur Andersen prior to founding Water Street Associates in 2007, Michael and his team believe in establishing long term relationships with their clients.
Specialties include complex tax returns (multi-state, stock options, trust returns, rental properties, etc.), as well as expatriate and foreign national tax.
By approaching tax service holistically, Water Street takes the time to understand the needs and goals of their clients in order to provide the best case scenario for each particular tax situation.
Giving back to the community is a priority for Michael; he ran the Boston Marathon in 2012, 2013 and 2014 to raise money for inner city high school students.
