I’ve been training with Michael for about three years, and can’t recommend him more highly. Not only is he incredibly knowledgeable about the body, fitness and nutrition in general, he cares immensely for his clients — he put an inordinate amount of effort into understanding *my* body, *my* specific needs, and is always checking for progress and adjusting his approach based on what’s going on with me on a given day. He is never judgmental — he meets me where I am every time — but he also pushes me hard, and I know that my body is better from each training session with him. Finally, he’s just a fun and funny guy to be around. I believe that anyone who is lucky enough to get on Michael’s schedule will emerge stronger, fitter, wiser in the ways of their bodies, and more centered in life.

The Best. You need a trainer to get you to the next level of fitness, look no further.
I’ve always been relatively fit and active, but I’ve had some sports related injuries that needed attention, as well as an interest in getting my body looking/​feeling the best it could. In the first week of training with Michael, I could see and feel a change in both areas. Michael took a full body approach, which I thought would take longer to see results, but I could tell my core was getting stronger and the muscles around my injuries were responding immediately. As all the other reviews say, you’ll also have a good time training with Michael, he’s a pretty hilarious and interesting guy.

i came to michael with hip problems related to an over-​zealous bikram practice and dance background, amongst other things. he quickly identified and addressed my issues, and i was soon on the road to recovery. he has helped me gain strength that i never knew i had and has made me more confident in my own abilities. michael is knowledgeable, genuine, and funny. our sessions are always a pleasure and i trust him implicitly in training my body.

Michael helped me as a wounded, older dancer restore my body to strength and balance. He is (besides being a good person) polite, kind, reliable and encouraging. He fulfills his natural curiosity and desire to grow as a trainer and health professional with additional study and certifications so that he can go to the best approach for a problem. He works hard to know and understand the body he is working with and I have a good deal of body awareness so we communicate well and I trust him. He is a good communicator and listener. He guarantees success and my experience has been that he always delivers.
