BEAUTY ON THE OUTSIDE
Honestly this is one of the most beautiful banks I have ever seen.
***WARNING DON’T TAKE PHOTOS INSIDE, YOU WILL GET SPOKEN TOO AND HAVE TO DELETE THEM***
So this bank makes you feel like you are in another country, probably Europe. The interior and exterior design of the place is just remarkable. I was taking photos from the outside, and when I went inside, I got in trouble. One of the workers shouted at my friend and I and demanded for us to delete our photos. I was just so captivated by all the beauty and was caught off guard. He could have «ASKED» us nicely instead of «DEMANDING» Tone of voice can make a big difference in actions.
Besides being startled and dictated, the bank was very clean and well staffed. The teller who helped us was very friendly and made us laugh. If all the workers were like that this place probably would have gotten more stars, but due to the male worker who made me feel like a child, it deserves a 3.

The fat manager Mohammad sat us down & abandoned us all I wanted to do was cash my check and then he never came back… HORRIBLE service from a manager in his role needs to get reevaluated for his position again. If it’s busy that’s fine just tell us so we know but don’t have us sit down tell us «I’ll be back in a second and don’t come back at all»
I was told I couldn’t cash my check even though it has Wells Fargo bank on it. I was told from the teller I needed to open a account first so that they can can my check NOT TRUE all they want is people to open accounts.

I have yet to have a good experience here. The lady who set my account up did it wrong in return I got charged fees that wouldn’t get refunded even though the admitted they fired her. Then I asked for Vietnamese currency and they had me wait 30 mins to find out that they only carry euros and pounds!!! Don’t you think the teller should know if they only carry euros and pounds?! Idiots work there… The only nice people are the greeters.

Incompetent tellers, poor customer service. All they want is your account, they don’t care if you want access to your own money, and tellers don’t know their own check cashing policy.
Just as a follow up, I took my check (drawn off WF) that was made out to cash. This branch made a big deal about having my name on it, having 6 years of backing experience myself, I knew they could cash it or at least verify with the account holder to cash it for $ 200.
I took the same check to BofA where they cashed it no problem. My husband and I are closing our WF accounts and moving over to BofA where we can at least cash a $ 200 check. Screw wells.

Terrible customer service; they don’t even deserve the one star! I’ve been banking with them for 15 years and they couldn’t/wouldn’t make an exception with the transaction I needed done.
A relative sent me a check made out to «cash» instead of my name & they refused to cash it for me. The lead teller wouldn’t even look, much less hear how long I’ve been a customer. And as a former Wells employee, I know they can make exceptions. He just happened to see it was a non Wells Fargo check and said, «nope» & walked away! I can understand if the check was $ 1000 or more but $ 100?! Come on! And I opened my accounts at this branch!
Anyway I walked further down Market Street to the Montgomery Street branch and was able to cash it there with no problem. I was even thanked for being a customer since 2000!
Well I guess from now on the Montgomery Street branch will be my go to office. The folks here seem nicer and happier. And much more COURTEOUS!

I’m so glad that I decided choose this bank! At first I want go to another, but I agree to my friends advice. So friendly, professional and quickly service!

This branch is TERRIBLE –Charles Barkley voice-​. They no longer have deposit slips. This has created MASSIVE wait times and customer inconvenience. In line, the people we were waiting with were all complaining. It took the teller 4 tries to get my deposit and cash back correct because instead of being able to fill out a deposit slip and indicate the deposit and cash back amounts, we had to scream at each other through 6″ glass. Then, I had to yell my account number out loud so they know which of my accounts to make the deposit it. Terrible service and a horrible idea to do away with the deposit slips. I heard six other people have to yell their acct number as well. Seems ripe for identity theft. If this policy doesn’t change… bye by Wells Fargo. I told the lady at the counter I needed to make a deposit and get cash back, she heard «cash my check» and then the fun began. It’s an easy fix.

They never answer the phone! Worst branch of Wells Fargo I’ve experienced. Not a small business friendly branch.

Generally, my experiences with this branch have been fine — this one was not. At all.
A WF ATM (independent, not attached to a bank) ate/​destroyed a $ 25.00 (Secret Santa) gift card that I received. It’s only $ 25 but every penny counts for me, so on my lunch hour I went to this branch to get help. After waiting most of that hour, and after them confessing that the machine destroyed my card, that it couldn’t be retrieved anyway,(My response,“Your machine ate my card. You’re a multi-​million dollar bank and you can’t give me back my $ 25.00?), I was told by manager David Florez there was nothing they could do, perhaps I could find the original purchaser of the gift card? «This was a Secret Santa exchange. I don’t know who that is.» There was nothing he could do.
As I was walking out, a Ms Mosetti (The only bright spot of this experience!) asked me how I was? (She was obviously a big cheese with the bank.) I explained my frustration, she listened, 10 minutes later Mr. Florez — the guy who said he could do nothing, was handing me a deposit slip for $ 25.00! I commented that it was a shame I had to go through all of this for $ 25.00.(Do you know that some big banks actually have policies in place to make it hard for smaller customers to get their money back, because most of those customers give up trying. If a bank does anything like this to you, DON’T GIVE UP! It’s your money! They have enough of their own.) So, I got my money back, but that’s not the issue here. I’m the smallest of bank customers, I know. I live from paycheck to paycheck. They made me feel small. THAT’S the issue. There’s more…
I sent an email comment directly to Wells Fargo about my experience that day. Because I was polite and said“Thank You” at the end of the email, the robot who responded (obviously not a human being) picked up on those words and sent me an automated response saying that WF was glad I had such a POSITIVE experience with their bank. I responded «Are You Kidding? I did not have a positive experience! Did anyone really read this?» The next day, I received a message from Valerie from Executive Accounts to call her. I did. This was on Thursday night. Very nice, very sympathetic,“You are important to me, Mr. Snyder. She said they could use my situation as a learning tool, as she’d never encountered this before. «I will contact the bank tomorrow, talk to them, leave a message with you, then — we can talk again on Monday.» she promised. (I had told her that Friday was busy for me.)
No message left on Friday. I called her yesterday (Monday), got another associate, Valerie was on the phone. «Please tell her that I phoned,» I asked. No call back yesterday.
Again, I’m a little customer. I’ve been with Wells Fargo since I moved here in June, 2007. And this is not about holding a bank for ransom because I got my little bit of money back. I had to wrestle Goliath Wells Fargo to the ground, but I did get my $ 25.00. They don’t owe me anything.
Except respect. And interactions that are coupled with integrity. For me, in this instance, Wells Fargo has come up bankrupt.

Bum-$&@# pricks! Not only were they terrible to bank with, but now all I want is an ATM and it doesn’t even work!!! Seriously, this bank is worse than, and more criminal than B of A!!! And THAT’S saying something!
The fees I paid… My money they sat on making interest instead of letting me wire it… Criminal and unethical…

This branch almost has me thinking is Wells Fargo for me. Did not work with me it’s not the same branch from 2010. I’v never been more unhappy with a bank in all my life.

RUN AWAY FROM THIS BANK, ESPECIALLY THEIR LOAN PRODUCTS! Their customer service is condescending and cowardly. If you can’t find a job or a job that pays enough to cover all your bills they couldn’t care less. They use language to make you feel as if THEY have done YOU a BIG FAVOR by giving you a loan when in reality, YOU are keeping their business alive by paying their HIGH INTEREST RATES.
I will never go to Wells Fargo again for the rest of my life for any product or service based on my experiences with them — not for checking, savings, IRA or home loans. They are on my forever blacklist because of how they treat people in distress. Wells Fargo is a sadistic lender. RUN AWAY FROM THEM.
There are hundreds of thousands of banks and credit unions in the U.S. Make a better choice.

Super friendly, customer service of other banks, the bar has been set! Even credit unions don’t treat me as nicely as a WF!
I kind of wish I knew the ATM was outside around the other corner, but there’s only one!
After I finished my withdrawal at a teller, I saw 3 ATMs on the side of the exit I walked out of, not in.
Maybe I’m stereotyping SF, but I thought it didn’t have ATM for tourist safety. LOL
They even kept trying to give refreshment toy friend and she kept saying no while I waited in line for the teller.
My only gripe is that the first 3 tellers were handling merchants– understandable, no wait– but us regular folks? We had to wait a few rounds before we were helped, and only 1 of the 4 were assisting us regular folks. Didn’t feel special there buddy!
Also– anyone folks with overdrafts often? — WF is hassle free to get that $ 35 back, just let them know you can’t afford it– or something like that, they’ll take it off :) no questions really asked. But just don’t make overdraft a habit

Went in a couple weeks ago because my dog chewed up my debit card.
Went in for one thing, and walked out with a lot of useful information beyond what I came in for thanks to Michelle, a personal banker.

Great customer service. Lines move fairly quickly. Nice clean branch.

I like this location. It right across the street from where I work and it’s huge! I just use the ATMs really, but it’s clean and I never have to wait long in line.

I visited last Tuesday at 5:30 pm to ask about opening a Safe Depisit Box, and I was told to come back between 9am and 4pm … Even on Saturday. So, today is a Saturday and I made the trip to open a safe deposit box.
Strangely, while one can access their safe deposit box on Saturday, only one lady has the ability to open up a new box … And she don’t work on Saturdays.
I asked, «Really? No one else can follow a procedure to open an safe deposit box? There’s no backup?» blank stares were returned.
Chase Bank wins.

For some reason this Wells Fargo just seems less classy than it’s sister down the street.
The people are less polished (one girl wears the same black sweater every time I’ve been in) and less professional. It’s not a horrible thing, but it’s less of the well-​to-​do vibe I like at the Market locale.
Meh, it’ll do in a pinch.

Great location. at the beginning of Chinatown because 99,9% of the stores and restaurants including grocery stores in Chinatown are cash only!
This one is a few yards away from Man Kok. very convenient!

This is a review for this particular branch, not for Wells Fargo in general. If I were to rate WF as a whole I’d give them 2 stars. They are waaaay to quick to slap you with fees for any possible thing under the sun. I hate them for that.
But this branch is pretty great. The tellers have always been nice, even though you can barely hear them through that 2 inch thick bullet proof wall they all stand behind. But my favorite part about this branch are the ATM’s. They are inside the bank. Hooray! No more strangers on Market Street peering over your shoulder or getting a bit too close for comfort at the ATM. No more fumbling for your wallet, hoping that no one will come up & ask you for money. No more fear of being robbed. I like it!
