Good selection of various gifts. Definitely recommend for anyone looking for unique gifts. Many of the items can be found individually in other places, but this has a good central collection of items.

This is such a fun store. Good for gifts, both for myself and others :) Great selection of interesting cards, bags/​purses, t-​shirts, kids’ small toys and Japanese things, jewelry, housewares and more. It’s sort of like a small museum store. Nothing you need, but everything you want! I can never resist going in when I walk by.

I bought the BEST handbag I’ve ever had at Wink SF! The proprietors were so helpful with helping me decide which bag to pick out. Then, before I left the store, I realized that I needed a new wallet, too. The wallet (HighWay) that I bought at Wink SF is without a doubt the most durable, not to mention the CUTEST wallet that I’ve ever had. Then, just as I was leaving the store, I found a necklace for my daughter. I guess Wink is just about my favorite store in the world.

Great place to find unique gifts.
They have sf themed tokidoki merchandise.
Parking is hard because they are located in noe valley.
Staff is really nice and helpful.

I love the range of gifts, bags and jewelry this cute store has. I’ve bought many things here over the years and am loyal to shopping locally. But after spending $ 500 on four items (2 purses and 2 wallets) and having the zippers fail on three out of four, I took my purchases back so the owner could relay feedback to her supplier. I also wanted to see if the zippers could be replaced, since all items show little wear and should be good for years to come. Crazy to throw someone away that should be able to be repaired.
Owner reported that «yes, she has told her supplier that the zips have failed in the past, and that no, nothing could be done about it.» Disappointing, but out of her control, I understand. When I asked if she could give me a small break on the next wallet (different brand) I was about to buy she said «No». Even 10% off to show some goodwill here would have made a difference. I left feeling that this store does not stand by their products, nor feel any loyalty to their customers.

Still love wink– it’s been a while since my last visit, but regarding my first review, the sales lady in question actually messaged me apologizing for her behavior. On my most recent visits I must say that I have at least gotten hellos or how are you doing today from any sales person. Wink has some great gifts, and I love all the Giants stuff they have!

After lunch, decided to walk around Noe Valley (since I never really had the chance in the past), and came across this store.
Lots of Giants gear! Some shirts, banners, and pennants.
Aside from that, they do have cute cards, gifts, books, etc…
One star down because of the price. Nothing was cheap, so if your on a budget, I would explore elsewhere.
Nonetheless, will stop by if I’m ever in the area!

This is a great gift shop! San Francisco has its fair share of cutesy boutiques, but a lot of them sell the same novelty stuff. I really love the selection of products here. They have, by far, the best selection of San Francisco-​specific gifts that I’ve never seen anywhere else. No need to buy that ugly Golden Gate bridge mug last minute at the airport or the same old box of Sees Candies for your out-​of-​towner friends. I’m always struggling to find interesting, unique gifts to buy for friends that live elsewhere or when we have visitors, but now I know where to go. But they don’t just sell SF-​specific things, they have a great range of beautiful and crafty products. And very friendly customer service, which is a bonus!

I wish I could give this shop more than 5 stars! I went in and was welcomed by a very friendly staff member. She didn’t chat so much that it distracted me from shopping and when I had a question about an artist she put my info down in book and said she would call me when she found the answer I was looking for. This book looked massive and my first thought was… She’s never going to call over a 20 $ print. And she did 4 days later! Then said she would keep me in the loop. Very helpful.

This my go-​to spot whenever I need to get a gift or a card on short notice.
Like others have said, you can find these items at other stores but they got a great overall selection. I bought a Manhattan Portage bag here that I use everyday and it’s great!
The clerks have all been helpful and it’s always fun just to browse around to burn some time.
Prices vary on items and as you’d expect in Noe Valley, it’s not exactly a bargain. But a cool little gift store nonetheless.

One stop shop for Holiday gifts-​and birthdays. I spent $ 150 within 10 minutes and nocked out ½ of my list without having an idea what I wanted to buy for some hard people to buy for. It made my shopping stress free as I found one treasure after another for a diverse group of people and I was under budget! Not to mention the ladies who we’re working there were super sweet and friendly. Can’t wait to return. My new fav Noe stop.

I’ve been shopping here for gifts for several years now. Noe Valley is becoming a great destination for cute gift shops and boutiques and I will keep coming back to Wink SF for cute kids’ gifts as well as cook books for my foodie friends. I also lust after their cool laptop and messenger bags they have on display. Also a great place to run in and get your Vipp diaper-​pail liners! Thanks for carrying these!

I was with my Girlfriend in the store and she spotted a pair of earrings that she liked at Wink SF, so I added it to my gift ideas notes. When Christmas came around a month later, we agreed on one reasonable present because we had a big anniversary exchange shortly before. So, determined to get exactly what she wanted and wouldn’t expect, I called up Wink SF.
Katie answered and though Wink doesn’t usually ship directly, she answered was able to do so after I described the earrings. I found out later when they arrived that they weren’t the right pair so I went back and figured that they had already sold the pair I was looking for. Rather than settle for the same design but wrong colors, Katie helped me by calling the artisan and left a voicemail asking if she could commission a new one for me.
About two weeks later, Katie called me back and said that the artisan made two versions of the earrings in purple and emerald (in different #) so that I could pick whichever one I thought would look better. They’re my GF’s favorite earrings now and I’m thankful Katie went above and beyond the call of duty to help me get the right gift.

How dare you!
While strolling 24^th street this evening, enjoying the Noe Valley Wine Walk and preparing for a little holiday shopping, I stepped into Wink to look for gifts for my family. A sign behind the front counter advertised a 5% discount when paying in cash and with only a credit card on my person, I knew I would have to return after a trip to the ATM in order to take advantage of the additional savings. After selecting a small knitted Dia De Los Muertos coin purse for my sister and spotting a set of handmade earrings, hand stamped with a pug/​bulldog in a birthday hat for my mom, I let one of the clerks who was assisting customers know that I would be returning for these items after a trip to Wells Fargo, a block down the street. As the clerk noted, every little bit helps!
As I made my way out of the store, the shop co-​owner, made eye contact with me and, what I thought was recognizing me as a returning customer, as I had purchased some area rugs and other items at the shop since it opened many years back, instead surprised me with «You’re the guy who stole the wallet from me». Stunned, I replied, «no, but I have purchased some rugs from the shop.» She made her accusations in front of not only her sales staff, but also a store filled with customers, as the shop was a participant in the Wine Walk and was offering glasses of wine to several customers. This was the same shop owner who handed me a holiday goodie bag a couple of December’s back during an open (shop) house, the same woman I had a conversation about the art toys she stocked.
I demanded an apology, as I was highly insulted, however, she continued to make the claim, letting me know that she had chased me down the street until I finally returned the wallet to her, I would have liked to know when this alleged crime spree happened, as I was no doubt behind my desk in an office building downtown. If this had been true, wouldn’t I have a fabulous new mug shot to remember the holidays with? Why didn’t she photograph the thief then, call the police when the theft extravaganza occured, what do the security cameras say? She refused to back down from her claim and I grew more agitated as she kept repeating herself, letting everyone in the shop know I was the suspected thief, clearly unaware that she was slandering me.
Truly mystified and still shocked, I again asked that she apologize and that she was fingering the wrong guy. She pulled out her phone to call the authorities and not having anything to hide, decided to wait, so I could disprove her claim, however, the sales staff politely encouraged me to leave and not wanting to make a bigger scene on such a festive evening, I decided to do so, but before leaving, I warned the remaining customers not to touch anything for fear of being fingered for theft. I walked down the street slowly, hoping for the police cruiser to arrive so that we could return to the store together, but alas, none ever arrived. Instead, I stopped for a cupcake at the Noe Valley Bakery to calm me down, the «Moist-​est» chocolate cupcakes have that affect on me.
Once I arrived home and thinking about the crazy event that just occurued, I called the police, as I didn’t want the shop owner to continue this sick slanderous practice of accusing people with no cause, however, once they arrived at my home, one of the officers discouraged me from going back to the store with them to speak to the owner, as the shop owner could claim I was trespassing. Perhaps they saw it as a petty incident and in the grand scheme of things that the SF police have to deal with, like naked people and fans torching buses when San Francisco wins the World Series, it was.
The shop owner will eventually realize the mistake she made, she needs to appreciate her customers and not to accuse them of unfounded theft. It is unfortunate that shrinkage is part of the retail landscape and I understand that Noe Valley merchants have a fair amount of theft, as reported over the years in the local Noe Valley Voice newspaper, however, the owner took this too far in her quest to justify her inventory losses.
As a 11 year homeowner in Noe Valley, residing just just blocks from this shop, I will never patronize this shop again, pity, I really wanted those earrings for my mom, I can find the coin purse elsewhere, I’m certain the shops on Valencia Street will carry similar items. I will sleep well tonight, the disgruntled shop owner however, I doubt will. The upside, if any? This will all make for great laughs at the office tomorrow.

This endearing shop on 24^th just west of Castro is a great place to buy cards, gifts, or a special treat for yourself or your kids. They have a great variety of greeting cards, cool kid stuff (including Day of the Dead-​themed sippie cups), a decent selection of jewelry, and lots of interesting «foodie» gifts.
Super nice woman running the place too. It was a pleasure to shop there and chat with her!

What is not to like about this place. Small but packed with creative gift ideas and very reasonable priced. The folks are nice and they turn the inventory often which is also nice as a shopper.
One of the best parts about this store is they sell the moleskin notebooks at the best rate in Noe Valley! Who does not love that!

Lots of über cute Japanese enthused gifts for the home and person, I’m walking around looking & thinking all this stuff has got to be imported from Japan, all useful items although grossly expensive. If you’ve ever shopped at a Japanese housewares market, you’d know what I mean. I found these rubbery, soft nylon feeling place mats with cute comic stencil designs at $ 22 each or for a set? Who knows. A few types of bobble heads from Mario Batali flipping a crêpe to a cute panda. Tokidoki products and t-​shirts are also offered, the popular «Bastardino» is available. Great spot to pick up a unique gift or new housewares to show off to friends.

Lovin this place for last minute gifts or when you feel like treating yourself to one of those things you *really* don’t need but *really* want.
Everything from Domo dolls to cards to cutting boards to jewelry and more! I have a feeling they change out their inventory as things sell out to bring in more stuff and keep the store fresh. A real treasure. Enjoy!

This place has a lot of cute little items. Yes, it’s nothing you coudn’t find somewhere else. But here it’s all in one place! So instead of trekking from store to store you should make Wink your first stop when shopping for interesting gifts.
I got my earthlust ss water bottle here months before it was being carried by other stores. They definitely keep an eye out for the next new thing for you.
