History

Established in 1976.

Established in the 1970’s to sell folk art and ethnographic works of art from Asia and Africa. in 1996 Xanadu Gallery purchased the only Frank Lloyd Wright building in San Francisco on Maiden Lane and currently specialized in fine quality Asian antiquities that range from neolithic ceramics, 2nd to 17th century Buddhistic sculpture to Japanese netsuke and related items. The gallery has an exceptional collection of Himalayan Buddhistic works of art and unusual excavated jewelry ranging from Roman amulets, Tibetan coral and Turquoise to Indian gold.
