A loyal customer for years, I have come to expect great service from the Bryant team. This past week Mike Echeverria exceeded all expectations in diagnosing and repairing my AC unit in a prompt and professional manner.

WOW! Great, friendly service!
Kildare replaced our capacitor and filter in this insane heatwave (109 degrees), and took the time to explain how the AC system works and how to maintain it.
Bryant’s maintenance contract was a smart deal for us because we got 10% off parts, and filter replacement was part of the spring tune-​up.

Bryant is the best. Everything from installation to maintenance call. Air conditioner got a bit noisy, I called, they came with a compressor blanket, and did not charge me since it was still under warranty. Excellent. I recommend them to anyone needing air conditioning in the San Gabriel area. The technicians and office staff are the best!

Excellent service from start to finish. I left a voicemail late at night to make an appointment late at night. Appointment was made a few weeks down the road because of both my and their busy schedules but they kept me in mind as requested and when someone else cancelled, they were able to come over the day after our call! Frank was on time, thorough, honest and professional. Made good, logical recommendations and my ac was suddenly back up in no time. He quickly honored the Unilocal deal $ 20 for the $ 49 diagnostic visit and so all worked out well. The ac was on in time for a party I was hosting so I was super pleased it all worked out. We searched many contractors and we ended up with Bryant Heating & Air Conditioning. We shopped around quite a bit — Bryant Heating & Air was not the cheapest contractor but we ended up with them anyways because we needed a company we could trust to do a large job.
I took off one star because when we selected this company — we had some difficulties reaching the owner to confirm the job. I ended up tracking down his assistant and she helped us get a confirmation. Personally I think the owner needs to either get his assistant on his email to help ensure all things are followed up on, or have some kind of CRM software to track all customer inquiries.
Once the job started, it was smooth sailing. We had a decently large job. We needed to replace our gas furnace, AC, and redo the entire ducting in the house.
You can tell that this is not a company that skimps or takes shortcuts. The workers were very communicative of potential problems, and they allocated time after each day to clean up as much as possible.
Bryant is also highly recommended by my real estate agent who’s been in the business for over 20 years.
Will be using Bryant again and referring this company to others.

They have been doing great works and take care the customers. I have encounter estimate from other AC repair company who charged $ 900 to fix. When Bryant came, he charged me $ 90 and fixed the problem. People from Bryant are honest and trustworthy.

Update — I had to have Bryant Heating come out again (for a completely unrelated issue). My heater was not working and I was chillin’ at 54 degrees each night — bbbrrrrrrr. I set up an appointment and was told that my technician, Frank, would be there within a one hour appt. window.
Frank was fantastic! He showed up right on time near the beginning of the appt. window. After inspecting the unit, he got it working again, but mentioned it would likely be a temporary fix (due to the age of the unit). He was VERY PATIENT and took the time to explain why it was a temporary fix, what the actual issue was, and the three possible solutions to the problem, plus the pros, cons, and price estimate of each. He answered all my questions (and there were a lot) as if it was the first one. Oh yah, and he made the extra trip up to my roof to clean out my unit’s air filter which is always appreciated, especially when your unit is inaccessible like mine.
Overall, it was another great experience with Bryant Heating & A/​C and Frank is definitely your guy! Do yourself a favor, stop reading Unilocal reviews now, and give them a call!

The staff a the office and Patrick the service technician was professional, polite, on time and was meticulous with his work. Very satisfied with the work in our medical clinic on Green Street in Pasadena.

I had an excellent experience with Bryant Heating and Air Conditioning. A few weeks ago, I had a new furnace and air conditioner installed. My family had gotten three separate bids and although Bryant was not the cheapest choice, after engaging their services, they are clearly the best choice. The team sent by Bryant was very knowledgeable, skilled, efficient, and courteous, an important trait given that they will be in and out of your home for three to four days. The team was able to answer all of our questions and they worked with us to determine the best placement for vents and returns. They worked quickly and clean up after themselves afterward. Subsequently, they coordinated permitting, a HERS test, and a city inspection. I highly recommend Bryant and would definitely use them again in the future.

We have been customers of Bryant Heating and Air for over 20 years — their service has always been excellent. However, we recently had a technician who wasn’t all that great; a little cranky, unable to concentrate; told us he had «a lot going on». I am always willing to cut some slack, but the crowning blow was when he got nasty with my neighbor, who only wanted to ask him a question.
I called Bryant and spoke with Margie, who was instantly apologetic and promised better service. I also spoke with Mike, the owner, who echoed Margie’s sentiment. I asked him to never send that particular tech again, and he agreed.
They both showed that they walked the talk when a part they had ordered to repair my unit arrived ahead of schedule; Margie called me today (¹⁰⁄₁₉) and said that it had come in and would send Frank, another technician, out TODAY to take care of it.
Frank arrived at exactly the specified time, took care of the problem, and was so friendly and professional. HE DID A GREAT JOB! After he left, I called the Bryant office to let them know what had happened, and they were happy to hear it. We have a maintenance contract with Bryant, and will request Frank every time we make an appointment for maintenance.

The AC at my place stopped blowing out cold air. My cousin, who is a real estate agent and use them all the time, recommended me to give them a call. I called them up and they explained to me there is $ 50 assessment fee on top of all charges. So a guy named Tony came out. Very polite and nice. He went up to the roof of the condo and told me the motor is bad. He said he couldn’t figure out the make/​model of the motor because it’s all rusted and he needs go back to do some researches. After about 2 days, he called me back and told me he still couldn’t figure out the motor so he wants me to replace the WHOLE unit on the roof. He said he’ll call me later for the quote.
One week passed and never receive any call from him. The whole AC unit is not going to be cheap. Home Depot is selling the AC unit for at least $ 2500. So I called another company to have them double check. The 2^nd company came out with free assessment. They immediately figured out the make/​model of the motor on the spot. They said it’s rusted but can still tell. They replaced the new motor within 2 hours for about $ 200 including labor.
Now Bryant Heating & Air sent me an invoice to pay up the $ 50 assessment fee, a week later of unable to figure out the make/​model of the motor and wants me to put in whole lot more money for replacing the AC system. Well, they earned my review on the Unilocal and recommendation to tell my cousin to stop using them and find someone else more trustable.
Update: Originally gave them one star but bumped to three. Their operation manager Mike called me and waived the assessment fee. He explained that their technician was probably looking for the original part instead of using generic brand. That’s why he suggested to replaced the whole unit because they couldn’t find the original part. He said next time he’ll advise his technician to offer customer an option to use generic brand if original part is too hard to find.

Our AC stopped working and we needed to have it fixed ASAP! We were in the middle of a heatwave and our place has really bad insulation, which causes the place to retain unnecessary heat.
They were probably really busy and had very high call volume as with other places (we called other competitors on ⁸⁄₂₇ and next available was ⁹⁄₃). In terms of scheduling, as long as you are flexible and by your phone to answer their calls, they can be at your home (assuming there are cancellations). My wife is normally available between 2 – 5 which makes it easier to schedule something with them.
The technician is super nice, friendly, knowledgable. He made the whole experience much better and was able to answer questions. However, their phone/​call area could improve on their client service.
All in all, the circuit board had been burned out and needed to be replaced. They ordered the part and was able to get it installed the following business day. Unfortunately for us, their initial visit was Friday and they got it installed Monday.

And this is why I love Bryant Heating & Air Conditioning and why you will as well:
About a year after installation, I was not completely satisfied with the airflow coming from one of the units. Despite several complimentary tweaking visits from their technicians, I still wanted the temperature to drop faster in the kitchen and in an adjoining room. In my best whiny voice and accompanied by much stomping of my little princess foot, I asked Matt what we could do. His answer? Let’s send some big burly dudes up to the roof to remove the one year old unit, and replace it with a brand-​new larger capacity unit. At no charge. Um… what? Seriously?
And of course, like in my original review, my annual summer party was coming up in a few weeks. Not a problem for this company. They hauled off the smaller unit, installed the bigger one, and it worked like a friggin champ.
Oh, and catch this: right after the job was complete Matt called me up and asked if it was possible that we had overfilled the swimming pool recently, because there were 6 inches of water in a sub basement that his men had discovered. Turns out the housekeeper had completed that neat trick a few weeks previously (note: if this review is being read by Pasadena Water and Power, I completely deny knowing who wrote this review… I know we are in a drought, and it certainly was not me or anyone remotely resembling me). Anyway, Matt told me that his men decided to pump out the basement while they were there. Again… Are you kidding me?
The bottom line now is the same as it was a year ago: these guys get it done exactly right, and back up their work 1000%. I’m proud to say that I have become a Bryant Heating & Air Conditioning groupie. Now I wonder if Matt will let me race around town in one of their cool vans…

Their rep came same day I called. Managed to squeeze me in on a Saturday. Unfortunately it was raining that day and my AC is on the roof. Frank came out and was a pro. He took a quick look and diagnosed the problem and suggested the repairs needed. He even wore booties in the house so as not to dirty my floor. He was done pretty quick considering it was wet outside.
Would recommend to others.

Bryant came recommended by my neighbor. Their field rep Mike came out to do an inspection on a Thursday and said he would email an estimate by the following Tuesday. He seemed very professional and I felt that was ample time to prepare an estimate. I started calling the following Wednesday, and it is now 2 weeks later after 6 follow up calls and no estimate. I even mentioned this to one of their field technicians who was servicing my neighbors
A/​C unit, and still no estimate nor the courtesy of a return phone call. It’s hot, I’m irritated and wondering what ever happened to Customer Service?
