Established in 1990.

Serving greater Los Angeles and Orange County area, we began our business as a family owned drapery shop and workroom, we expand our business later by serving our customer with wall paper, floor covering and other products. We began as a Hunter Douglas Priority Dealer, then Showcase Dealer, and now we are proud to be Hunter Douglas Gallery Dealer.

I really enjoy what I am doing, such as interior design, drapery styling, etc. I like to challenge myself with different interior space and design difficulties, and have the right solution for my clients.

My husband and I are thrilled with our new window treatments! Initially we were going to forego treatments until we saved up more money, but Cemac’s pricing was too hard to say no to. What also made us execute on our decision to go with Cemac was Unger and Charlene’s consistent professionalism, from start to finish. Furthermore Their attention to detail and knack for precision made us feel comforted in knowing we made a good decision!

I really recommend Cemac Windows for you window treatment needs. Our initial visit we worked with Justin and Charlene and after the initial quote we mainly worked with Unger. All were very pleasant to work with but our experience with Unger was wonderful. He was very helpful when finalizing our choice for windows (ending up going with Hunter Douglas plantation shutters). As others have said he is very professional, straight forward and a very nice person to top it off! And if you are worried about paying too much I will tell you Cemac is very competitive and based on the quotes I received not only was his customer service wonderful but his prices were on the mark for us! My brother who happened to be here to witness the installation and the follow up visit to verify everything was installed properly was very impressed and stated if he could hire him he would for his new home… but he is moving out of state. Personally I am recommending Cemac/​Unger to everyone I know who wants window treatments. If you are jut considering getting quotes don’t forget to get one from Unger and his team you will not be disappointed and he the are no pressure business which I appreciate as well. Thanks again Unger and team!!!

We had a great experience buying shades at Cemac. The showroom is well organized. Unger is knowledgeable, thorough, professional and great to work with. Choosing shades requires a surprising number of decisions and Unger patiently answered all our questions and helped us through the process. We felt his answers were honest and accurate with zero sales tactics. We had an unusual situation with one of our windows and Unger was excited to problem solved what our options were. He and his installation team worked well together and had all our shades up very smoothly. We are very happy with our shades and would buy from Cemac again. I only wish we had a big fancy house so we could have Unger create his beautiful draperies for us. Be sure to look at his photos, they are works of art!

I highly recommend that you work with this company. Unger is the best! Not only is he professional, punctual, and extremely knowledgeable, he has the best prices in town. He will not waste your time with gimmicks or trying to push other products. He listens to exactly what you want and need and will try to make that a reality for you. From start to finish our project took 2 ½ weeks. Exactly what Unger had estimated. His timeline was accurate. We ordered custom Hunter Douglas solar shades. And we could not be happier with our product. Unger beat the competitors prices by far. I like that we are supporting a small business. He is the owner and takes full responsibility for the work. Don’t go anywhere else. We just finished with our installation and we could not be more pleased.

Cemac literally just finished installing our windows today. We ordered two sliding door treatments and three other window treatments. They were great from start to finish. Sharlene helped us at the showroom and was so gracious and informative. We have never bought window treatments before and she took the time to show us the different styles, functions (room darkening, etc.), and the many colors! We shopped around and Cemac gave us a very competitive quote. After our order, they measured our windows right away and kept us updated on the status of our order. Once the treatments arrived (about a couple of weeks later) they scheduled a time for installation. The installation team was great — very professional and punctual (which is important for us). They even graciously pointed out a slight imperfection in one of the treatments we ordered. They worked with the manufacturer to get us a new one and installed the re-​ordered one right away. Thank you Cemac for the beautiful treatments. We hope to enjoy them for many years!

I needed window shades for my new business location and after shopping around I went to Cemac Windows. I was helped by Unger, who was very knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. He took the time to explain the best options for my particular needs and he patently helped me sort through all the colors that were available until I found the perfect match. Unger stopped by my business that same day, Saturday to take measurements and provide a price quote. I placed an order and I couldn’t be happier with the results. Cemac did an outstanding job with the installation and the window shades look beautiful and they match the color scheme of my office perfectly. I highly recommend their service. We have a wall of glass w sliding glass doors that needed window coverings. After searching on-​line and asking around, we found Cemak. Charlene was very patient and helped us figure out that their Hunter-​Douglas roller shades would be the best fit for us. Unger came out to take measurements. The shades arrived on time, in about two weeks, and were installed beautifully. They look terrific, and we could not be happier w/​the end result. Both Unger and Charlene were super nice, knowledgeable and trustworthy. Their prices were very reasonable too. I highy recommmend them.

It was a pleasure working with Unger and his team. They were very professional and went out of his way to make us happy. Unger came by the house to measure our 18 feet window and sliding door and a kitchen bay window we wanted blinds for. He took his time and was very meticulous. He sent us a quote the next day and we ordered the Hunter Douglas Skyline Panels for our 18ft windows and door and Light Rise Shade for our kitchen. The order took 2 weeks for Hunter Douglas to make the blinds and Unger’s team came out that weekend to install. There was a little bit of issue closing the blinds that his team could not figure out. Unger personally came out within the hour to see what was the problem. Unger’s experience with the Hunter Douglas Panels helped him resolved the issue in a matter of minutes. Our blinds are beautiful and we are extremely happy with Unger. I would recommend him to anyone.

We recently got Hunter Douglas vertical blinds for our sliding doors from Cemac.
We walked into the store because it was the closest HD showroom to us. Prior to this we did visit another two places in Pasadena — one at the corner of Wilson and Colorado, and Phillips Draperies on Sierra Madre.
Unger was very helpful in the store and we had plenty of time and attention from him in discussing possible products. He was able to call HD and find out details he did not know. The very next day he sent us prices for the 5 options we were interested in.
Unger came over on a Sunday to make full measurements and take the order. He called ahead of the appointed time to let us know he was on his way.
Once the order was placed, it came in almost exactly on time. We arranged for a day to get them installed, and he and his crew called again ahead of reaching our house. (I am mentioning this because in my experience the vast majority of servicemen do not come on time and do not tell you they are running late!) We really appreciate his professionalism.
The Cadence verticals that his crew installed look very good, and we are very pleased with the installation, the neat and clean work, and the professionalism of Unger and his crew.
I would highly recommend this business.

We worked with Unger and purchased Hunter Douglas plantation shutters, roller shade and pirouette window treatments. We also bought faux wood blinds. The quality of the products are superb with the best warranty in the business. On top of that, Unger provided exceptional customer service from our initial consultation. We walked into Cemac on a random saturday and was greeted very kindly by their staff and Unger. Initially we were just looking and wasn’t sure what we wanted yet, but once Unger came out and measure the following week with the offerings, we were happy with his professionalism and decided to go install 4 large windows with Hunter Douglas blinds to try them out. His crew came out to install and did a good job. I wanted the blinds really close to the floor so when they had put in two and I didn’t like the distance, they immediately took it down and re-​did again without complaint. Overall we really enjoy their service and knowledge and will definitely ask them again when we are ready for all the other windows in the house.

We recently got 4 new window coverings for our apartment and wanted to look at some Hunter Douglas items before purchasing. From Hunter Douglas’ website it indicated that Cemac was the nearest showroom. I checked them out on Unilocal and based on the reviews, thought I’d give them a look. Charlene was very knowledgeable about all of the products they carried. When I would ask a question, she would give me the answer. Other places, they usually say, «Let’s look that up,» which is understandable but can make for a loooooong visit when you have numerous options to evaluate.
When it came time to measure, Unger was very meticulous and detailed. Three of the 4 window coverings were rather tricky and required extremely precise measurements. The way Unger measured and re-​measured and drew detailed diagrams made me feel comfortable that there wouldn’t be any delays because of inaccurate measurements. The installation was smooth as can be with no surprises or shoddy work. The crew was also very thorough about cleaning up everything after they finished.
I’m glad Unilocal and Hunter Douglas’ websites connected me to Cemac as I wouldn’t have known about their shop in San Gabriel otherwise. In the future, I will always use Cemac, Charlene and Unger for my interior design needs.

i have just remodeled my kitchen and was looking for great window treatments to pull it all together. Found Cemac Window Covering online, walked into the showroom and it has been a great experience from there. Unger is fantastic. His customer service is exceptional.
